We booked a table for breakfast in Oxford.We had been to the Cosy Club in Salisbury many times,so we hoped it would be as good.The service was excellent, as was the food and drink.

I recently went to Cosy Club in Brindleyplace with my family and, unfortunately, the service was really disappointing.

When ordering, I made it very clear that I have an allergy to mayonnaise/egg. I explained this to two members of staff, but the wrong burger was still brought out. Luckily, that burger didn’t have mayonnaise on it, but I was then told that I could have it if I wanted, but I would still have to pay for it even though it wasn’t what I had ordered.

The manager then came over and asked what my allergy was, even though I had already explained it twice. I had to explain again that I have an egg allergy. I appreciate that allergies need to be taken seriously, but it was frustrating having to keep repeating myself when I had already made it clear from the start.

I then had to wait ages for my actual food. It felt like nobody was really in a rush to sort it out, which made the whole experience even more frustrating.

When I asked for the service charge to be removed, I was asked if there was a reason why. Yes, there was. The service was poor, and after the experience we had, I didn’t feel the service charge was justified.

I understand that mistakes happen, and I’m not expecting everything to be perfect. However, when it comes to food allergies, I think communication and attention to detail are really important.

Hopefully this feedback is taken on board because I would hate for another customer with an allergy to have a similar experience. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I wouldn’t be rushing back to Cosy Club Brindleyplace.

We have lived in Norwich for just over three years and, when we first moved here, we enjoyed visiting Cosy Club because of its pleasant atmosphere and surroundings.

However, after about a year, we stopped going there for drinks because the bar service was consistently poor. Staff always seemed focused on preparing drinks for diners, while customers standing at the bar were left waiting and often completely ignored.

With so many other good bars in Norwich, we chose to spend our money elsewhere. On Friday 17 July, we decided to give Cosy Club another chance, thinking that after a couple of years the service may have improved.

Unfortunately, nothing had changed.

The bar was surprisingly quiet for a Friday evening, with plenty of seating available. I went straight to the bar, where no one else was waiting. There were three members of staff behind the bar: one making cocktails and two preparing drinks for diners.

Despite standing directly in front of them, I received no acknowledgement, no eye contact and no indication that anyone had noticed me. I genuinely felt invisible. After waiting for nearly ten minutes, I was eventually asked what I wanted to drink. There was no hello and no apology for the wait.

We stayed for one drink and then left. We will not be returning.

The staff appeared more interested in chatting and having fun with each other than acknowledging customers. At premium prices, basic customer service should not be too much to expect.

Cosy Club needs to train its staff properly and consider having dedicated staff serving customers at the bar rather than treating them as an inconvenience. Sadly, I now understand why the bar was so quiet.

Fantastic addition to St Albans. James and his team go out of the way to make you feel welcome..Excellent good and service cant wait to bring friends and family back again.

Last Tuesday me and my mum ate here after court the food was delicious the service was really good

Cosy Club Durham. Visited Cosy Club Durham after visiting the cinema with my family. Ordered a bottle of Merlot from the wine menu. The brought a very cheap wine to the table which was not what was advertised. It was sent back, this was the sort of wine id expect to get from the bottom shelf of a cheap supermarket. The food when it arrived was stone cold and was also sent back. They asked if I wanted to reorder but by this time id had enough. I asked for the bill for the drinks my daughters had and left, very disappointed. Really spoiled the afternoon! Thanks Cosy Club, an absolute disaster!

Visited Cosy Club Plymouth today to give it another try after a poor experience last time. I ask to talk to the Manager as service was poor to be told the person serving us was the Manager! This time she served us again. Poor slow service, toast served on cold plate, therefore, hard and lukewarm. Coffee only half filled with liquid in a small cup. Manager again took ages to serve us even though there were only 2 other people there, she had no eye contact or personality, obviously in the wrong job! We will pick a different venue next time.

We visited the Cosy Club for lunch and were welcomed on arrival. We elected to sit in the ground floor bar and decided on our lunch selections. Unfortunately there was no one at the bar to take our order so we asked at the front of house and someone came to help. Having placed our order and obtained drinks we had to ask if someone would clear dirty coffee cups from our table which had presumably been used by previous guests. We returned to our seats and waited, and waited, and waited. A long time went by and my wife asked a female member of staff about the food and was told that as she was a Coeliac food had to be served by a manager. I wasn’t sure why this would be a an excuse for the delaying of the food but we sat and waited again. After an hour I went to find somebody and again only people I could find were at the front of house. I advising two people that we had been waiting a long time for our food. One of them said he would find out what was going on and disappeared up stairs. Another 15 minutes went by and there was no sign of any food and no one came to see us to explain.

Having at this point got fed up with waiting I again went to the front of house and told them that we had had enough and wanted a refund. I was then offered both the lunch and a refund but having waited for an hour and a half and having no confidence that any food would actually arrive, we just wanted to go. It took several attempts to calculate the refund less the drinks because I insisted that they refund the service charge. We hadn’t received any service.

It would have been nice if, by way of an apology, they had offered to refund the entire bill but they didn’t offer. They didn’t really care. If someone had bothered to keep us informed or even come back to us after we complained, it might have been different. But no one did. No one seemed to care less.

We left promising that we would cross the Cosy Club off our list of lunch venues.

My mum and I often eat here and have always been impressed with the service and the food. Today (12th may 2026)was a gorgeous experience. Our waiter Connor from the Milton Keynes branch had a service with a smile, he was attentive and had just wonderful manners! Connor was such a gentleman and pulled out my chair before I sat down which took me by surprise as I haven’t had anyone do that for me in years nor have I witnessed this when out and about! Great service seems to be hard to come by lately and just so grateful for this place. Food is excellent and well priced too. We will be back again! This is how you get repeat customers! First visit to a Cosy Club (Bournemouth). Had an excellent time the food was excellent as was the service we received. All in all a very nice experience! Our host Ash made the experience all the better, she looked after us very well?

Visited the Plymouth restaurant today and was to say disappointed, the place empty but everyone who came after seemed to be sat to close together , the lunchtime menu was very limited on brunch style choices , then to top the lot we had a 10 % service charge added to our bill which we should of had a choice as I felt I earn the money and if I wanted to would leave a tip , will definitely won’t return

We attended today for Mothers Day. We had breakfast. the restaurant was very busy. Prompt service with drinks & food. One of us was Gluten Free and that order was taken and then delivered separately to avoid contamination. Staff were friendly. Loved the complimentary polaroid photo that was taken as a keepsake for our lovely Mothers Day Breakfast. Mums were also given a complimentary gift bag at the end with a small bottle of Gin and a Tonic - what a lovely gesture. Lovely experience. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely come again. This is our fifth visit to the Cosy Club.

Walk in Wednesday lunchtime. Two of us and took lunch in the restaurant. Absolutely first class. Top service, excellent food and very good wine. Booked to return before we left.

We recently celebrated our engagement party on Saturday and would like to express our sincere appreciation to Kashani and her wonderful team — especially our waiter, Mateo. We hosted 30 guests, and everyone was impressed. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional from start to finish.

It’s a fantastic venue, highly recommended for parties and special occasions, and the pricing is very reasonable. Thank you for giving us a day we will always remember.

Me and my partner visited cosy club Norwich for Valentine’s Day on what was supposed to be a nice evening for the both of us.
Obviously we can see where this is going my partner came down with food poisoning during the night projectile vomiting leaving her unable to attend work the following day.
Not to mention the extortionate prices for the food that let’s be honest is mediocre at best.
The waiters take ages to come back to you, you wait about 1 hour between your course of meal for a portion size that probably good for a child.
The staff do not check if you are okay or offer you any more drinks unless you ask just as they walk past if not prepared to just be ignored even when they are standing behind you.

If you’d like to pay a good amount of money for food poisoning then this is the place for you. Overall I’m really delighted with the experience thankyou

After waiting 15 minutes to be served we left, other people arriving stood waiting to be seated, then they left.

I booked a table for late afternoon/ early dinner at the Nottingham restaurant
Attitide of the hostess was appalling. There was no one at the desk so we went up to the restsaurant. She told us we shouldnt have come upstairs and despite booking, there were 'walk in' customers in front of us so we would have to wait.
We were put in a small bar with only 4 tables, no customers but us and no ambience whatsoever.
Service was good and food delivered in an acceptable timeframe.
But portion size was disappointing and the diet coke was an awful cheap soda mix.
Won't be rushing back thats for sure

Visited Cosy Club in Exeter tonight with my family to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
Food was excellent, service was excellent, our server Jack, was first class. Jack was both friendly and professional, he really made us feel welcome. My only complaint was that the lighting was not great, I know this was to set the ambiance but it was a co little too dark for me. Saying that I would definitely return as everything else was first class.
