Be very careful when looking up a debt collector on Google as this company, Credit Sage, is the first search result. Upon calling, I specified my purpose for the call to settle a debt which whom I believed to be the debt collector. At no point in time did the agent let me know I was calling credit sage for credit repair. I did not need credit repair services. They enrolled me into a contract for almost $1000 and a $99/mo recurring charge. Very deceiving tactics on their end. I called on a Saturday, after enrolling and realizing this was not the debt collector I attempted to call, I immediately called back to cancel the agreement. Prerecorded message stated to call during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, funny, I was able to speak to someone about 30 mins prior. They give you 3 days from the day the agreement is signed to cancel. I have followed up and receive emails confirming my account is now closed and awaiting to speak to a manager for a full refund. Hopefully they follow through with their word and refund me for a service I did not request nor received.

They also disputed all my credit accounts, not just the account in question, I will be calling the credit bureaus to ensure this was not what should have happened. Credit Sage also enrolled me into a $25/mo credit monitoring service (standard scores dot com) without my consent. I have now successfully called and cancelled that subscription.

Overall this was a bad experience. It’s caused so many headaches. Now I have to go back and clean up this mess. Because I did not ask enough questions and allowed myself to be put into this dilemma, I can’t give them just 1 star. The services they offer can be good for someone that needs them, unfortunately I did not need them and it was not thoroughly explained. After stating the name of the debt collector I was looking for, they did nothing to let me know that is not whom I was calling.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received. I paid a fee for a professional tenant letter to provide to leasing agencies. However, the document provided was generic and lacked any professional credibility, resulting in it being rejected by potential landlords. The service did not fulfill my requested needs, rendering the purchase useless

Mrs. Diana answered my prayers with one phone call. I have been stressing about my credit and what not. When I got off the phone with her I felt so at piece. She was patient, knowledgeable, just a gem. From the bottom of my heart ma'am thank you.

I was helped by Tonya and she was very efficient in immediately getting not only the account i called about disputed but also every other debt collector i had, all in one go! I paid a fraction of what i was going to have to and dont have to do any of the work. Majorly relieved to see my credit score start going up!

Yeah, they scammed me out of $432 !!! i called the number of the 1 mark on my credit report that i owed $398 to and they had me believing that i was paying the debt and contesting 3 hard inquiries, turns out i payed them $432 to just contest all of it instead of paying it off. It was all a scam.

Christina B was an amazing CSR! She helped me to get my account rectified and validated with no problems whatsoever. Her patience and dedication to her job are unmatched from any other CSR I have ever worked with. I would definitely recommend Credit Sage to anyone in need. Thanks, Christina!

Well, make a long story short I was looking to pay off a student loan that has been hanging over my head the last two years and I called these folks and obviously I forgot who I talk to and they assure me that they were going to dispute it and to see if I qualified to get it removed on top of that come to find out that the agency that reported the account reported it under false pretenses and I qualified to get it removed off of my credit report and I wouldn’t have to pay that back, which in some sense is a bonus to me, but they assure me that any other disputes that need to be disputed, they would take care of it and within 90 days I would have an answer so far I wanna say it seems pretty legit but in 90 days I’ll check back in and I’ll find my review and I will update it to see what my progress is under my account but so far I feel hopeful because in the past, I’ve tried doing this and I have been let down and wasted money before and I’m tired of wasting money so I’m hoping I’m not wasting my time or money. I need facts and I need actual results.

Good start so far, but I'll be updating or leaving a new review as things progress. The team seems assertive and ready to work, which is very good. I'm a person who needs actual facts, numbers, and measurements to determine if there is progress. I'll keep you posted.

I talked with Roseanne today about a bill that I wanted to pay. But in the process of finding that the bill wasn’t actually due at the time..To make a long story short don’t know how but we got on the subject of fixing my credit. I had been dealing with another agency that had me about to lose my mind. No matter what I was asked to it wasn’t right and not to mention everyone I talked with told me something different. Roseanne came into my life at a good time.She opened up about the process on how things are ran and what she could do for me.Well she helped me tremendously. I really feel good about the process and believe things are finally headed in the right directions. Thanks to Roseanne for helping me and walking me through the process.

I worked with Rye Walker today. Her knowledge and compassionate nature made this process extremely easy. Like a lot of people I have been running from my credit score. Rye gave me the confidence and the ability to stop running and lead a strong credit score giving me confidence in my future endeavors.
