I booked a 20 day Meditterranian cruise with Cruises.com under the understanding that I would recieve 3% of the purchase price of about $4800 back via my Rakuten account. I took the cruise in April 2025. They are still advertising cash back via Rakuten but I have been unable to get them to honor this despite reaching out to them. Rakuten have made several attempts to reach out to them to no avail. Dishonest company, do not trust!

Within 10 minutes of booking, I realized I had erroneously booked a cruise for Nov 2026, instead of 2025. (I didn't even know it was possible to book a cruise 16 months in advance!) I immediately called them, but they refused to waive the $100 cancellation fee. Yes, I know it's in the fine print I agreed to, bit given the immediacy with which I caught my error, I thought they could have cut me some slack. So they get a big F.U. from me and will never get my business now. Don't give then yours either!

My agent was very knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, friendly and very thorough. She gave a detailed explanation and encouraged me to open an account to get points and other perks. She is outstanding. I highly recommend her and Cruises.

I initially was booking my cruise on-line on Cruises.com's self service site. I had some questions so I ended up calling. My agent, Rachel, was very helpful and was able to address all of my questions and concerns. She was a delight to talk to and made my booking easy and stress-free.

Booked a “deal” with them and was promised $700 on board credits but only got the $300 as they claimed I owed Princess cruise line. Our agent was always MIA and they sent constant emails threatening that our cruise would be cancelled for this money that they claimed in error was still owed. Worst experience ever! Would rather get rectal surgery rather than book using them again.

Our cruise was easy to book with Donnie at cruises.com. He knew literally everything from booking to cruiselines and promotions to discounts. I recommend to anyone who is looking to book a cruise with any cruiseline.

The person I worked with, Cristocia Carroll, very patiently processed our options with the cruise line and helped us pick the best option that suited our needs. She was very up beat and demonstrated great patience with us and her counterpart at Princess who appeared to be new.

The company does now allow US Legal Permanent Residents, with unexpired permanent legal residency and valid, unexpired, Cuban passport to book with them. This should be completely illegal, can book with any other company though, even the cruise companies themselves.

I began my cruises with cruises.com several years ago and whether I speak to a booking agent, or use the website, I feel secure that I receive the best service and gratuities.

I have been working with the same agent for years. She is great. Very responsive to our needs.

I was so blessed to get in touch with Shy at Cruises.com. We had one, longer cruise booked and had to switch to a shorter cruise. She spent time with Royal Caribbean to switch things over for us, ensuring we had a great financial deal. I am so grateful to her - so much so that I've added her to my contacts in my phone! I no longer book through the cruise line itself because cruises.com. has everything I want. I don’t understand why the cruise companies don’t have what cruises.com does. The prices are better on cruises.com. The options of so many different cruise lines are amazing! I really prefer their payment options too. I made a mistake right after booking a cruise with cruises.com and needed to call customer service. The representative, obviously had a smile on her face when she answered my phone call. She fixed my mistake and was just so pleasant about it. Cruises.com is the best! With Service like I received and all of the above mentioned there’s no reason why I would ever go back to booking with the cruise line directly.

We were never given our $75 ship board credit for booking with them. I booked 3 rooms which meant we were due a total of $225 on our credit cards. The cruise line itself knew nothing about this and told us to contact Cruises.com. You are put on hold for a long time. When someone answers you are put on hold again while that person supposedly looks into it and comes back to the phone and says "Are you still there? I'm still looking into it." Then you are told a case will be filed with the cruise company. The cruise company calls and says the case does not contain anything about credit card shipboard credit and to call cruises.com. They just want to take your money, can't answer any questions, don't tell you what's included in your ticket. BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THE CRUISE LINE!

False advertising!

My husband and I are avid cruisers, ramping up recently to more than 10 cruises a year, so we are well-versed with the changes and pricing for the cruise lines we use.

I was searching for a 14-day Xmas cruise on their website, and on April 2, it was advertised at $1419, a great price. Upon clicking to the next step, the price changed to $1799!

I emailed an agent at cruises.com and included a screenshot showing the advertised price on the website, and had to chase for an explanation.

On April 3, she responded via a voicemail stating that the former price did not include port taxes and fees, which brought the price from $1428 to the post-$295 price of $1723.

1. First, the price online was $1419, not $1428.
2. For several months now, regulations have required pricing to include port taxes and fees.
3. Consistent with #2, the new price on their website is $1799, and stays at $1799 when you click further into the booking process, not $1723.

Do not book with them, as their final prices are inconsistent with their advertised rates, and even the explanation from an agent with "Over 45 years luxury concierge experience" (Lori Cordes, ext. 78239) flat out lied to cover it up.
