they call every 10 mins on a auto-dial system and with no one on the end when you answer, this is amounting to harassment,

They took me to court for a supposed parking fine which I knew nothing about. Let me give you a flavour of the incompetence here - on the day of the hearing the case was dismissed immediately by the County Court judge because...wait for it...they hadn't logged any evidence, correspondence - NOTHING - with the court in advance!! My guess is there never was an evidence.I'm now pursuing them myself for expenses/loss of wages etc on that day - the judge advised me to!!

One parking fine i never knew about and i end up with nearly £350 to pay, no help just shut down. Bunch of Vultures

Absolutely ridiculous company, nothing legal about them at all. They pursued me for over a year regarding a fabricated parking fine on behalf of the "client" Euro Car Parks. They chased me for a inflated fee of over £200 for a £1.60 parking charge that I paid, could prove I had paid, and there was a minor error which they refused to acknowledge. Role on to now, and they bottled going through with it because they 1. saw the irrefutable evidence stacked against them and 2. did not have a credible shred of their own. When challenged on their behaviour throughout, they had the nerve to send a two line email just to say they were closing the case.

There is a reason they have such a low rating, these are not a legal firm, they are an in-house debt collectors that rely on fear and leaglese to scare you into paying up.

Dispicable customer service and bullying tactics -sending threatening letters with vauge and incorrect information. Shocking that these people are allowed to trade legally.

This whole system is designed to wear you down. The notice was sent to an old address when I had no fixed home — legally invalid under the Protection of Freedoms Act. Couldn’t contact Euro Car Parks as details didn’t work, so it went straight to debt collectors demanding money. Feels like a scam to make people pay

Shame you can’t leave a zero rating. I only dealt with these for about two minutes to ask for confirmation of payment. The rudeness’s of the person I dealt with unbelievable. Manners cost nothing. I get they probably deal with a lot of anger customers but that’s the job unfortunately.

They apply for CCJs when you don't even live at the address therefore not get notified or able to defend yourself. Apparently they can apply for car parking CCJ's for up to 6 years regardless of whether you have moved or receive a letter because you have moved. This is a national scandal and the small claims courts allow it! They ignore you and try making you pay for car parking charges that are CANCELLED.Legal racketeering is what it is.

Dont bother employing this company to collect any debt owed to you. They give you all the sale pitch but dont mention the fact that all the married debtor has to do is "say" that he no longer lives in the house and take their name off any council rates/rent or private rent agreement . DCBL will then say they cant proceed any further whilst in reality , the debtor has simply covertly moves back in the house. I have told dcbl this but they simply state that on paper the debtor has not moved back in. Over a 2 year period they only called at the house 4 times !! Useless and expensive

Not worth the effort with these ones, they just want the money, have ended up settling to just get out of the situation. They are a sister company to smart parking who will issue parking fines regardless of your rights by their own admission. My advise, if you see a smart parking sign take your business elsewhere.

ABSOLUTE ROB DOG SCAMMERS! At the start of June 2026 I received a letter from these rob dogs saying that I paid a fine relating to a car park fine that I already paid. I had to order historical bank acccounts to prove it. Even when I gave them my evidence they were pretty darn rude and didn't give a poop. I believe that they are scamming people by sending them already paid fines in the hope some people just pay them again.

Following a final notice letter that claimed I had parked on private property, I called the company to enquire.

I had not received any letters prior to the final notice since the initial “incident” took place, only the last one which stated that I was going to be charged a higher amount as I had apparently not responded to their first attempts to contact me. It also threatened that I would be charged even more, or taken to court, if I did not pay the amount fined.

The lady I spoke to on the phone told me I could not appeal the fine, even though the final notice was the first letter I had. When I asked where the first two letters went she was no help at all and even said they did not have that information available. I’d like to know how exactly is that any fault of my own? I was not even given the opportunity to appeal regarding the situation.

The only letter I received was also incredibly vague, and my questions were not answered when I phoned up either.

I was parked outside of a restaurant in the disabled bays with our blue badge on display as my daughter uses an electric wheelchair. She has a severe disability which means we cannot park further away as she struggles and can even hurt herself from going over the bumps on the pavement so we park as close as possible to where we need to be.

My honest opinion is that this company lacks empathy and compassion for the people they are charging, I was not even given the opportunity to voice my concerns on the phone and was pushed into paying the frankly unfair fine.

I'm stunned how a company like this can justify having the term 'legal' in their name. In my view they are 'legal scammers' who use loopholes in the law and prey on people. I had a CCJ against me for an old parking fine which i was unaware of but all correspondence went to my old address, and they wanted £550 in total. I fought this myself in court and won against them. I'm disgusted how this company can be called 'legal'

Received a letter from David Croot demanding an unenforcable parking charge. Usual rubbish. Out of interest l 'googled' Croot and according to his bio he is a credible, experienced senior solicitor. Makes you wonder why he is working for such a squalid organisation as DCBL: in reality a sad, desperate, pathetic man who needs to be brought to heel.

Disgraceful company, so unethical and dishonest, clearly trying to scare people into paying their made up fines. I spoke to Sandi on the phone, who was utterly rude and inept, to dispute a fine they have made against me in error, she threatened that they will take me to court anyway, despite my proof that I paid for my parking and she wanted to know totally irrelevant personal information - even my date of birth. If only these crooks could make an honest living. Disgraceful.

I spoken to Gareth today about a parking ticket for 316.80 for a car we never had for my disabled son when saying he was mentally retarded he giggled on the call not like the kid who wouldn't been old enough to drive in 2021 I have recorded the call for my personal safety demanding to talk to a mute autistic child i am verry upset about the situation

This firm of solicitors are very intimidating , very unfair, aggressive, rude and very robotic in their response to PCN issues. They never provide photographic and video evidence beyond reasonable doubt in virtually all cases before they start sending letter out to challenge a defendant.
They never truly and fully investigate parking issue that often get sent to them by debt collectors. A court injunction will soon be raised against them and they will be reported to the law society, trading standard about their high handed approach to minor issue which does not cause any economic losses to the client who instructed them 99.9% of the time.

Awarded a High Court Writ they said they couldn’t trace the defendant even though I had paid DCBL to fiind his address.They said the person there wasn’t the defendant and they accepted that. Absolute joke. £2000 down.

Lying intimidating company chasing completely unlawful debts, usually with parking fines. Know your rights!!!

Received a court letter for a parking fine during COVID the date of parking was 5 years 7months ago .....The machine inside the pub wasnt working the manager was stressed because of the spread of covid people were attempting to use machine...and were stood by machine trying to log their details....he assured that there woukd be no fines issued as SMART WORKING WHERE AWARE! A few days later I received a letter from Smart I rang them and told them what had happened..They said no further action and update their records....TODAY is the first communication and its a court letter!! Wanting £335.04 ! They dont answer the phone I dispute the Claim ....absolutely abhorrent..since the parking I am now disabled...heart and kidney problems suffer extreme anxiety and fatigue ....this will probably kill me off .....
