Detectivemysterymasters Reviews

This is a scam. I placed an order on the 7th of February and I wanted it to come by the 27th of February. The expected delivery date was way before that so that’s why I placed an order. Today it’s the 20th of June with no sign whatsoever of my parcel.

i originally thought the price seemed high, but i wasn't expecting the level of thought, creativity and complexity these "cases" contain. there are parts of the puzzle which aren't intuitive, which really makes you stretch your brains to figure out next steps. my wife and i thoroughly enjoyed the experience. it made for a couple really exciting date nights. we were talking about the cases for quite a while afterwards.

Detective Mystery Masters sent a top-notch product. The materials were well-crafted, and the storyline was exciting. It kept us engaged for a couple of hours, and we really enjoyed spending the time together. The delivery was timely with no issues. We were very pleased with the product. We have recommended it to others.

We played with friends and we all dressed as our characters. One of our friends played MC. It was so much fun!

Generally a very good product. Basic presentation but a fun problem solving game. Enjoyable for a small group.

Poorly done. Not well put together. Not smooth and too much reliance on QR (don't work well) and the computer. I would not waste my money.

I bought the 3 pack just before Christmas. I played one with friends, one on my own, and one with family. I love logic games and mysteries, and it was fun to solve cases with others. They are well designed and worth the money spent!

Delivery was on time. The packages I ordered were exactly as advertised. I found the mysteries fun and challenging. I have recommended to many of my friends to try this out. Very happy!

5 stars

We loved it! We played CASE #1: Family, Fortune, & Assassination – The Van Hout Story the day after Christmas and had so much fun. The game kept us fully engaged, and the clues, details, and overall process were really interesting and well put together.

No problem with the shipping or payment whatsoever.
I would definitely buy another mystery from Detective Mystery Masters!

Bought this as a gift for my wife, we had a great evening with friends solving a mystery. The case was interesting, some clues were very well hidden, and it took us about 4 hours to go through one case, which was awesome. I highly recommend this, we are passing the case off to other friends as it is only a one-time use unfortunately.

My girlfriend and I, had so much fun playing Columbo. Our cats was also in the game since we put the "clues" all over the place. Thanks Détective Mystery.

We completed the mystery as a family. It was as wonderful working as a group and being able to feed off each other's ideas. The storyline is well thought out with lots of twists and turns. The mystery takes time to unravel but worth the effort. This was our second mystery by Detective Mystery Masters. We are excited for our third.

My sister and fellow sleuth enjoyed solving the crimes. We did them at Christmas time and found it a great way to bond over our love of crime fiction and thrillers and also to NOT watch TV or scroll mindlessly. What a great way to spend a few hours. No problems with the order, Simple process for delivery, payment etc. Highly recommended.

Just what my wife wanted. If you have a family member that watch, read, or listen to detective or crime media, this is a gift for them. A quality game , that is well done.

I bought Detective Mystery as Christmas gifts for my friends, and of course I had to get one for myself too. My kids and I played it together and we had such a fun time. We laughed so much at our own mistakes and wrong guesses.

I have two teenagers, so I really appreciated having something that genuinely helped us bond and spend quality time together without everyone just being on their phones. The game was engaging, funny, and surprisingly memorable.

I highly recommend this for families with older kids or teenagers. Friends would definitely enjoy this too. Such a great group activity and absolutely worth it.

Love it! Very entertaining, Great family activity. The level of entertainment is similar to watching a detective move together.

Quick delivery. I also had an issue with a downloadable mystery. It was very quickly resolved for me.
I enjoyed doing the mysteries.
I hope they bring out new ones so that I can do more.

Detective mystery masters is so much fun. I do them myself but you can do them with a group. Very well put together with everything you need including extra clues if you get stuck. My husband gave them to me as a gift and I love them

I ordered this product on Dec 28/2025. To date it still has not been received.

The first order made it to somewhere in states, then for reasons unknown, it was returned.

It was sent again on Feb 10/26, to date, still not received.

I called contacted Detective Mystery and was told to contact the shipping company. I called them and was told it was now with the postal service in the US. It made it to a sorting facility on Feb 24/26 and has not moved.

I called the postal service and because I do not have a zip code as I am in Canada, the will not allow me to speak with anyone and I go in the loop of the automated system.

I appreciate that the company refunded my money; however, it is up to the company to ensure that the third party providers THEY chose, are actually doing what they are being paid for.

I was looking forward to these games; however if you are ordering from anywhere other than the US, don’t expect to receive your product or service support.

We did have great fun with my girlfriend to solve the case during a stay-in date night at home !
We will definitely solve more cases in the future !
Highly recommended!
