The team at Direct Fabrics were beyond helpful as our village dithered over what colour curtains to put in the village hall. To be fair this was a 1 in 30 year event, the last ones lasted since the 1990s .
Very interesting that the men voted more for russets and the women for teal. We settle on Peacock Herringbone which is now all cut out ready for a big sewing day. It will look fantastic and with repainted walls will transform the hall. We will be coming back for stage curtains at a later date

A really positive company to deal with. I was ordering a large quantity of material for curtains for our village hall. Asked for several material samples and these were received quickly. As it was a large order I had to wait a while for delivery but was asked if I was happy to wait and was kept informed. Delivery date was given and material arrived as it said it would. We needed fire retardent material and were pleased that a certificate was sent with our invoice. Thankyou.

Free samples were very useful in choosing the correct fabric as it is difficult to assess colours online.

I bought two curtain rails from Direct Fabrics. The site was really easy to navigate and also had helpful information about the products I needed. During installation I went on YouTube to see how to bend the track and Direct Fabric's own video was the top result.

Bought velvet stage curtains for our community centre. Communication from Direct Fabrics was brilliant from ordering the free samples to ordering and receiving the curtains. They offered great expertise on the product and kept me updated along the way. Quality of the curtains is fabulous. Will definitely order again.

eventually received what I wanted but lesser mortals would have given up long before - began to wonder if anyone actually knew anything about what they were selling - people pleasant enough when the phone was actually answered but a bit of a waste of time when they couldn't do anything about what I wanted to buy and had to pass it across to someone else who wasn't available - at one stage thought everyone had gone on holiday or the company had gone into liquidation - thought I explained clearly enough what I wanted but confusion after confusion - took lots of attempts on phone (using different numbers) and e-mails giving details (does anyone read them?) before I could actually talk to someone to place an order and then fight another battle to pay for what I wanted - even then, after all the communication they tried to sell me the wrong colour !! - at one stage was told that someone would get back to me that day so stayed in all afternoon but no contact - I was working within tight time constraints and there was some urgency - fortunately original date changed so some breathing space otherwise would have been real problems - i think there needs to be a better form of internal communication to remove such confusion in the future - wonder how many sales they loose? - stars for the quality of the product, not the chaotic service - at least it came quickly once everything sorted (thank heavens) -will use again but aware of what could happen and will allow weeks not days

I am very happy with the curtains made by DF. My only slight problem was I ordered a rail which was mislaid or forgotten. However as soon as I told them they did rectify the problem. This delayed my order slightly as I could not send final drop until the rail was in place. Over all happy customer. V
