Order a size up.
The jacket I ordered was lovely, but ran small. Was much more snug than my other jackets in the same size. Because of the no exchange policy, I paid to have jacket let out rather than return and try to rebuy in another size. Fit is better now, but still tighter than I prefer. Not a great bargain. Highly recommend ordering a size up.

I recently purchased a navy blue suit for my son from DOBELL and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. First and foremost, the shipping was incredibly fast, which was a pleasant surprise.
The quality of the material is excellent; it feels luxurious and looks great. What impressed me the most was the fit—it's perfect! No alterations were needed, which is often a concern when buying clothing online.

Christmas Gift !
I wanted a special gift for a man who was born in Ireland. He wanted a Harris tweed jacket . I tried Nordstrom , Macys and some smaller retailers with no luck . I was very worried about ordering online, due to the fact this would be a Christmas gift and size was my biggest concern. I took a chance, after I contacted Dobell's by email several times and got friendly and fast response with answers to my questions. I can tell you that the jacket is of top quality with excellent finishing via a beautiful lining , beautiful buttons etc. Details are finished as beautifully as the exterior . The Harris tweed is absolutely perfect !! He was stunned upon opening the gift ! The jacket arrived in a zipped protective protection. Just everything was first class ! I would not hesitate to order from Dobell's again . To give you an idea of the travel distance for the package. I live in Oregon, USA .

Ordered a size 12 and I b was sent a size 11. I contacted customer support and they told me that their size 11 equals a american size 12. Shoes are too small.

Our shoe guide on US site is correct to US sizing, so you would have been sent a UK 11 that are in fact a US 12 which is correct, unfortunately, it sounds like these dress shoes have come up a bit small for you and I have asked the Production team to look into this to avoid future issues.

Certain item discriptions could use fine tuning.
The prompt processing and fast international shipping was appreciated. The fit and quality of the product i ordered is very good. The garment i received consists of a 30% wool/70% poly blend, when i was under the impression it was pure wool. It’d have been nice to see a more clear description… but I may have just overlooked it. Will be more careful next time, impressive inventory at fair prices.

Beautiful Harris Tweeds!
I ordered a Harris Tweed sport coat for my husband for Christmas in a 42L. I got notifications that it was on the way and it got here in a timely manner. The tweed is really beautiful - with lots of colors running through it. The coat fits well but although I ordered the “classic” fit, it is more tapered around the waist than my husband had wanted. It’s not a straight fit ala the old Brooks Brothers. We will look into having it let out a bit and shortened slightly in the arms. Jackets this beautiful are hard to find and I think dobell did a great job. Happy!
