Perfect experience ordering from NL
I was hesitant to order from Drop since I'm based in Europe and I'd read a few comments over here about people who had a lot of issues when ordering from Europe. I thought I'd just write a review to give my experience, ordering from The Netherlands: everything went super smooth. Keyboard was sent within the indicated time, I was able to track the package the whole time and the custom clearance + delivery transition to the European countries went very well. My partner was thrilled with his Lord of the Rings keyboard. So it doesn't always go wrong!
Wrong Item
They sent me the wrong item and I can't seem to write a review on their website for the item I received/was supposed to receive. I've heard of other stories where customers either got scammed or ghosted and didn't think it was this bad.

Site advertises a great return policy. However, I purchased an expensive item and found out the hard way they HAVE A NO RETURN POLICY. Most sales are final. Wish I had known that prior to ordering. On top of this, to add insult to injury, the item i purchased had a price drop shortly after i ordered it. Drop did not want to honor the new price. Never again. Also, for anyone living in Canada, only purchase from Drop if you enjoy the true pain that comes with insane duties and tarrifs. Drop enjoys splitting your order into multiple parts without notice in order to hit you wear it hurts the most for maximum duty fees. Theres a handling fee per package, and that's how all shipping companies work. Enjoy.
Update: Thanks for your generic copy paste response. Just reaffirms why I'll never purchase from you again.

Dodges warranty claims & Support ghosts you
Drop refused to honour a warranty under the claim it wasnt sold by an authorised reseller, except the supposed unauthorised reseller was Amazon, through DROP's own store page. This was after having to contact them 3 times to get a response from support in the first place.
My latest email I received confirmation that they had received the email and passed it to another team only to now receive no further contact in over a month after calling them out on breaking their own Warranty terms, so I'm now out over £100. Shady and will not be using them again.
Edit: I know it's probably just someone doing their job, but their response to this review says it all. Asking me to contact their support which I explictly stated I have multiple times yet received no response, now in nearly 2 months since their own confirmation that they received my email.
Edit 2, 2025: I logged back in to TP to update another review but see that Drop responded here by editing their response, TWO months after the review was posted. Still no email replies either. I was never given a ticket#, my claim was simply dismissed by J.R. (abbreviated for privacy) 4th March, 2024.

Excelent company. I bought my sennheiser 6XX for 199 and then 3 days later the price had a drop, so i asked for a adjustment on what I paid and they refund me the difference, thank you so much!

one of the most poor experience
i ordered a headset in Mar 18 i paid 20$ for the shipping and they selected the worse shipping option that you can think of
my order left the warehouse after 10 days of the day i ordered and after one month my order is still in the same place, I send email to customer support and they said shipping wall take 3-6 weeks
today i complete 39 days and may order is still in the US in same place from Mar 30 and I don't know if I will get my order
in the end if you are out of the US please don't think of ordering from drop it's really stressful experience and really not worth it
you will find a better alternative that really respect their customers

Shoddy Customer Service and Unreliable Product
Customer Service SUCKS! I am new to the hobby of building keyboards. I bought my first barebones base from Drop.com, and as soon as I built my first keyboard, I was hooked! I found another keycap set that was very colorful and wanted a colorful base. Drop had the perfect keyboard base. I couldn't wait for it to arrive. Well, it came in a ripped box, with the extra parts (cords, tools) missing as well as screws missing. I contacted customer service via email because you can't find a phone number to save your life, and they said they would replace it with a new unit. I thought, okay, excellent customer service! I returned the base, and anxiously awaited my new unit. Guess what I received?! THE SAME FREAKING UNIT I SENT THEM IN THE SAME RIPPED BOX! Sorry to yell. There were no parts or cords; they packaged up what I returned and sent it back. I sent a strongly worded email about this. The thing is, I wanted the base! But I paid for a NEW base, not one that was beaten up and missing parts! I contacted them again. Their response? "Oopsie, you can return for a refund." I said, I want the base. Will you give me an open-box discount? They responded, "You can return the base for a refund or keep it." Really? Anyway, to make a VERY long story short, think twice about ordering from Drop because they don't honor good customer service, and they like to send used pieces for the new price. I have asked to escalate the matter, which may provide a resolution. No idea. Buyer beware!

No cancellation policy and complicated returns
I am using google translate to write this message, I am sorry for the quality of the English.
I am very dissatisfied with my latest purchase from drop.com. Your policies in place, although seemingly facilitating returns, they have the opposite effect.
• I asked to cancel the order even if it was an in-stock item before shipping, but they refused, loss of 15 USD in shipping.
• Then I asked if I could refuse the order before taking it at the post office, they refused saying that they wouldn’t accept it. I had to take the package then return it back to them. I had to pay a duty fee of 18$ cad.
• That meant that I also had to pay shipping back, another 25$ CAD.
In total, that means I would have lost $73 CAD in fees that could have been avoided to return an item worth $99.75 CAD.
All of this is making me think that these policies are put in place to reduce their return rates, force customers to keep items they do not want. Personally as a customer I do not adhere to this type of policy and my level of trust with drop.com is at its lowest.

Customer service is awful
Bought x2 keycap sets at $69 each. When shipping, the order was declared as $276 instead of $138 (x2 the ammount) and incurred hefty customs fees due to the error. Contacted customer service who were completely unhelpful and kept telling me the website warns you that you might pay customs fees. No acknowledgement of their error in listing the order value at double the price.
* Edit * beware of this companies responses to reviews, they are doing it for the benefit of others who will read these reviews, not to be helpful. They never accept any blame on their part and have an excuse ready. It's a badly run company that will do anything but refund or reimburse your money. The best you will get is a very small credit on your account which you are still forced to use on their site.

This is my 3rd purchase from Drop... their Sennheiser collabs are absolutely top of the line and some of the best open back headphones on the market!! This time I bought a set on Friday, and checked on Monday and noticed the same pair went on-sale. I reached out and their excellent customer service instantly redeemed me the difference in price, no questions asked. 11/10 everytime with Drop

I asked them to update the shipping address within 10 of making the order. They refused despite the fact that UPS allows the shipper to update an address prior to delivery.

Edit - after the package was delivered to wrong address, they sent a replacement to the correct address. It took awhile but they made it right in the end.

Prepare for a ridiculous wait if you order from Drop
Item listed as in stock and ready for shipment. No order updates sent, so emailed customer support. After finding out the item wouldn't be shipped for 11 days after order. Asked to cancel, and they refused saying "the order had already been allocated". This likely means they ordered it from some knockoff outfit in China and they're waiting for it to be delivered. This is not what "in stock" means, and nobody wants to wait a month when a merchant claims "in stock". They respond to emails, but not in a helpful way.
In short, they're deceptive and disorganized. I'd rather have paid an extra few bucks from another seller.
Drop wrote a response saying they're having warehouse issues -- which is the same lie they've been giving for years (read the reviews from years prior). They're lying liars, through and through, and should not be trusted. Do yourself a favor and order product from a reputable merchant that doesn't make you wait weeks for your purchases while they have child laborers and peasants in China repack used/faulty items or cheaply made gray market knockoffs.

Import duty NOT listed when it they should. DHL hold for weeks.
You may find some things are a good price BUT even though it mentions import duty and it came up with zero duty when I was checking out on the item I bought for £248. I have just had to pay a further £63 for importing from Germany to the UK after multiple emails and calls to Drop and DHL who BOTH kept telling me to contact the other. It felt like I was being scammed at more than 1 point. Not just that. The messing about DHL do with regards to holding in customs like I'm trying to import a friggin giraffe or something. They've held the item for about 2 weeks so far (tbf to Drop, they shipped quick). The whole experience simply isn't worth the messing about and extra cash. I could've had a very similar product delivered same day by Amazon at the same price. Unless they have some kind of super discount on something I really want. I'll not be using them again. Oh and the item STILL hasn't arrived lol.
