Fantastic experience with Drop return

Fantastic experience with Drop! The 30 day no questions asked return is pretty generous, and I waffled right up to the end. When I decided to return, it was a Saturday, but Jeanie noticed my request for RMA and got me that and a tracking label within hours. Super appreciate the amazing customer service.

They didn't even read my email.

I mean they literally didn't even read my email and sent me a response that made no sense... so I feel obligated to leave one star? Not sure what they expect...

No clue how to reply but here is more information: I emailed them saying that I have a $60 off $100 coupon and they have a BOGO sale I was going to buy $100 + $100 free. They do not allow stacking of these two coupons and they give free shipping over $100. This means I would have to make two separate orders and they would have to ship two separate things that THEY would be paying for. I am only asking to combine the orders so that THEY will pay less shipping. It costs the same for me either way.

Their response:
"While we can certainly understand everyone wanting to save as much as possible on orders, we do not allow stacking of coupons on purchases and it is limited to one per order. I understand this may be inconvenient, but that is how our checkout system is currently set up."

Which makes absolutely no sense if this person had actually read my email.

You guys are the best!

My pair of Beyerdynamic DT 177X Go that I had for a year developed a rattle in the left ear cup. I contacted Drop Support and they got back to me that same day! I would like to thank both Jeanie C and Amy from the Drop Community Support team for their prompt responses and swift help! Rad shop for cool stuff

I have shopped with Drop for years and have enjoyed what they offer. They’re great and I will continue to grab audio/keyboard things from them. I miss the days of special edition Spyderco knives and Monk earbuds, but I still dig what they sell. My most recent order had an issue and their customer service rep, Amy, did an amazing job getting things fixed up for me. Thank you, Amy!

My third purchase from Drop. I had issues with customs and local post company sending my package without any notice.
I had all support from customer service during the whole process. As an overseas customer I can say this was one the best customer experience I had. Thank you.

Great customer service

I've made two purchases so far from Drop, with a recent one in the past two weeks. Prior to that was a purchase in 2018. The products I've bought have lasted me a long time.
My most recent purchase saw a price drop within 2 weeks of the sale date, and after sending an email, Drop refunded me the difference. That sort of customer service is rarely seen these days, and I look forward to shopping with Drop again.

Good customer service & products

I recently purchased some keycaps off of Drop (MiTo M3 Noctua set). They were a bit pricy but I really liked them so I went for it.

About 2 days later they arrived (fast shipping was nice) and I noticed on the website that the price went down $51. 40%! I emailed asking to get this $51 reimbursed somehow, and within a day or so they responded and told me they'd do the fair thing and reimburse me for the price difference. I greatly appreciate the good customer serivce

Great customer service

Great customer service! I had made a mistake with my email on checkout and contacted on a Friday and they responded the very next day on a Saturday with great help. I’m very impressed with their service and will happily use it again. Richard Medina is the one who assisted me and he was very kind and helpful.

Support is super quick and very helpful

Had an issue with my delivery, one of the keycaps came damaged. Contacted support and they responded very quickly with helpful options on how to proceed to resolve my issue, in less than 24hrs I had my issue resolved.

Not a helpful community

These keyboards are complicated for the uninitiated. While I spent a lot of time in some of the community guides trying to educate myself on the various switches available, I was unaware that there were five pin and three pin switches — I naively believed that the switches sold on the Drop site would work with my CNTRL keyboard purchased from Drop.

When the 5-pin switches arrived I tried to install them and discovered that I have a 3-pin keyboard. When I tried to return them my return was denied, leaving me out $50 and with almost 90 unusable switches.

Even now, I’m not even sure that 5-pin and 3-pin switches are all there are and now I’m more confused and somewhat terrified of trying something new in fear of getting stuck with another unreturnable $50 order of switches.

It wasn’t until I actually pulled all the switches out of the keyboard and tried to install the new switches that I realized my mistake. While in theory I understand the customer service response, I think it’s weird that Drop bills itself as this helpful community but then when stuff goes haywire there’s no recourse. I’m out almost $50 because I didn’t understand one of the dozens of minute details one has to understand to make a knowledgeable purchase, and it sucks that Drop can’t accept my return so I can purchase the correct switches. I know I’m not the most valuable of your customers, but you’ve lost me in this experience.

Great product, delivery, and service

This was my first time ordering from Drop, and to be honest, the process was easy. My headset got delivered pretty quick. When I found out there was a sale on the product I just bought a week ago, I contacted the support team and they were quick to refund me the different amount from the sale. I was pretty impressed and surprised. Regarding my headset, I got the pc38x and I love it. I'm not an expert in headset, but I enjoy the sound quality and the fact that I just need to plug in and use is pretty nice. I'd recommend this if anyone is looking for a headset.
