Really glad I made the change

Everything was well-explained on the website, very easy and worked as expected. I'm enjoying seemingly better coverage at home than I had before, no problems anywhere a few weeks in. It's great value, nice to know the price won't change on me, and a big added bonus that this money goes into great rewilding projects.

Smooth and easy transfer

Ecotalk have been super smooth migrating to from my previous network. I spoke with Yasmin today who transferred over old number so I could keep it, and she clearly set expectation about what would happen and when. The tariff is really competitive, and all the while my business is passively helping to protect nature - win win.

Fantastic Service and Cause!

I switches 3 months ago and waited before I made this review. I have never been happy with any of my previous mobile carriers. What attracted me to EcoTalk was it's ethical and ecological focus; UK Call Centre and use of profits for societal and environmental benefits. Super happy with the service and highly recommend. For me 4G was a better option. You will need to change some settings to leverage this. Improved signal in my area.

Very easy transfer from my previous…

Very easy transfer from my previous provider. Friendly helpful customer services staff. Good choice of tariffs and the profits are going to a much needed cause. Very highly recommended ⭐️

Make the change, it’s worth it

So easy to organise and swap over with current mobile number. Have a great signal and helping nature, so what’s not to like.

What a breath of fresh air this company…

What a breath of fresh air this company is. I can't think of anything I'd rather a company use their profits on than funding nature reserves, especially having seen the recent footage of beavers being reintroduced. It's amusing to me that although this company uses hold music that I actually want to listen to (birdsong) and not make me want to cut off my own ears, answer the phones so quickly that I don't actually get to listen to the hold music 😂 And when they answer, they are 'normal' human beings from a UK call centre who are helpful and coherent. A rare thing from a customer service call these days....

The most AMAZING customer service.

Ecotalk is great -I recently needed to purchase a data bundle and upgrade my tariff, and the entire process was effortless. It is refreshing to find a company that balances great values with such high standards. Yasmin, the operator I spoke with, was absolutely delightful and helpful. I highly recommend Ecotalk for their brilliant service.

Stopped working

It worked well for a couple of days, but then totally stopped working. I was on holiday in Edinburgh, and suddenly had no way to do anything on my phone. Couldn’t book train tickets, find a hotel room… I went to an EE shop to see if they could help, but even after about two hours of trying it still didn’t work. I signed up to EE because I can’t mange without a working phone. It was a horrible experience. I had to change my phone number, which is annoying. I’my disappointed as I joined Ecotalk because if it’s great ecological basis.

Feel good factor

Great company. Time your existing number transfer over week days, not weekend and dancel your old contract direct debit when number is transfered.

Very affordable contracts, great mobile coverage, and the customer service is excellent. The genuine conservation work they do wirh their profits is the main reason I joined.

I get better reception in my rural area…

I get better reception in my rural area (welsh boarders) than i did on Vodafone, it costs me half the price, the staff are friendly and available on the phone, the switch is easy AND it's good for nature.
It's all wins.
Oh, and i'm not locked into a 12-24 month contract like I was at Vodafone.

Great Mission, Zero Signal

I support the company’s mission, but the total lack of network coverage at my workplace has rendered the service unusable, forcing me to pay for a second SIM from another provider. Despite contacting the help desk twice to request a pro-rata refund, my request was denied on the grounds that signal provision is not a contractual responsibility. Ironically, the company attempted to follow up via phone, later sending apologies for being unable to reach me—a circular logic that only highlights the exact issue I am reporting. Relying on restrictive terms and conditions to justify charging for a non-existent service is frankly unacceptable.

We’d like to clarify that, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions, network coverage is dependent on external factors and third-party infrastructure, and for this reason we’re unable to offer credit or refunds for loss of service in specific locations. That said, we completely appreciate how disappointing this situation is.

Brilliant Customer Service

Firstly, I love that the account page keeps you updated throughout the number porting process, so I could see immediately (and clearly) that my number port had failed.

I called in to check how to resolve this, and had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Ella, who got it all re-processed and advised me of the next steps/what to look out for. 10/10!

A win win decision!

Ecotalk was so much cheaper than our previous providers I thought there must be a hidden catch! However, having switched a couple of months ago I can confirm that my husband and I are both really pleased with the service provided by Ecotalk. Amazing value for money and very helpful advisors on the couple of times I needed some advice. Not only are we saving money but also helping the environment. Definitely a win win decision!

Super fast response and resolution

Really good fast response to my call, with minimal waiting time.
The issue was then clearly understood by Shannon who did a lovely job of getting it sorted straightaway.
Couldn't have asked for a quicker and better outcome.

So happy with Ecotalk!

So happy with Ecotalk! Sim arrived the day after ordering one, switching to them as my provider was super quick and easy. I love how my bills are going towards funding nature and rewilding projects, instead of some greedy shareholder's pocket! Also Sheri in customer service was great when I emailed to check something with her. Fab all round! 5 stars, Ecotalk.
