Spot on for 3 girls!
The worksheets were spot on for my three girls. The summer program especially kept their skill level up while not overwhelming them. When they had difficulty with a particular skill, I was able to download additional worksheets that gave them extra practice. Excellent educational investment!
Drastic price change
They doubled their price for a subscription and don't return emails. There is no contact number to ask questions. I actually liked this site for printed materials and my class liked to play the game "find the error" on the worksheets (because there are a few). I will not be renewing with the doubled price. There are plenty of other affordable and free resources online.

I have found numerous mistakes on printed materials from education.com and I think that is awful!
Lack of communication and honesty
i am not able to cancel auto renewal on site update payment info on the site all i can update on "account settings" is name email and grade preferences! No matter what i do i keep getting referred back to account setting and it tells me to click on drop downs that do not exist.
I have emailed several times with no response and have been double billed twice. For a company that boasts 10 million members, it offers its members no way of communication except email and even that receives no response, Should have checked with Better Business Bureau before joining there are lots of similar complaints there.
Mark Schwarts CEO useless and a fraud. Office headquarters in San Mateo, Calif...a bust...these people hide in the internet shadows with no transparency or trustworthiness. i have emailed and googled for a serious response for weeks now and all i get is "GO TO ACCOUNT SETTINGS' or 'EMAIL US" beyond that how can a company like this offer anyone to speak to?
DO NOT GET IT!
Education.com will renew your subscription without your knowledge even when you indicate to them that you do not want your subscription renewed. When you e-mail them, they will not respond. They do not have a phone number. Please beware when buying a subscription. They will continue to charge your credit card without your knowledge! I will put a stop to their charges!

Total rip-off
Total rip-off. They charge HUMONGOUS subscription fee with auto-pay (they subscribed you to auto-pay when you try). It's hidden in their policies they of course don't advertise. Be aware!

No warning renewal of $168.59
I did not like that they never sent emails asking how your subscription was going, or how they can help- so I hardly used it, they never sent an email for renewal. So suddenly I got a $168.59 renewal fee. I have tried to email them but very slow in any response.
Be wary of education.com they hook you in and then seem to like to charge you a lot of money for little support.

Education.com is a scam site. I posted a review and they responded by asking for more information. I responded but they never responded back so think they resolved the issue.
They think they have your credit card info and can charge customer without sending them email when it’s up for renewal. I get receipt from iTunes if I have auto renewal but nothing from education.com. I submitted a cancellation via their form but it doesn’t give you a confirmation email of what you submitted. It never cancel on my account and kept charging me every year without notifying me. It’s a scam site. I would like a full refund.

I too have been scammed by them.
Same thing as everyone else, pay yearly and still charged the 12.99 a month. Canceled a few months ago. I emailed so lets see how that goes. I put a one star for now,

Request to cancel service
I am writing this in hopes to have my issue resolved. I was automatically renewed for this service on December 20, 2018 at the cost of $119.00. I have sent several emails, 4 to be exact requesting cancellation of this service and a refund or prorated charge at of December 21, 2018 as this was the date of my initial correspondent. I am very frustrated that a notification was not sent prior to the renewal or charges made to my card. I have yet to receive any communication or updates to date.

Education.com is a great service fun for kids with lots of great resources. My kids no longer required the service hence the request to cancel. Thank you again. KJ
This website seems to be a scam
I signed up for education.com last year. My receipt says I have a pro membership but the website says basic. I just got charged $119.88 for renewal but was never sent an email or receipt. I could not find any button that lets you turn off the automatic renewal and I could not get a hold of anyone on the phone. I am writing this in hopes that someone will see it and resolve the situation for me since it seems like they are doing this to many people and do not respond to emails. I would not recommend getting a subscription to this website. I do not want this membership and would like to cancel it.

This place is a scam once they have your credit card info they keep charging it even when you take it off of auto renew. I want to cancel but it won't let me take my credit card information off. I contacted them about charging me without my knowledge last year but heard nothing back. They have taken $217 out of my account. I want it to stop.

Deceptively charging my account
I have a 3 year old grandson and was looking for free online educational games. We were able to play a few times and then I was asked for my credit card to have access for a month -- I ONLY wanted ONE month. I just noticed that my Visa was being charged $12.99 every month for the past 3 months. I never received any email notifying me of them charging my account - very deceptive practice. I wanted to call them, but there is no phone number. After reading some of the reviews, I realize that many others are being charged without their consent or knowledge. I agree with another post that they probably hope that people do not notice that charge of $12.99, which included me.

I originally has a basic membership. I needed to print resources so I signed up for a Premium membership. When I went to log in to turn off the auto-renew, there is a convenient pink box over the section for change plan/cancel subscription. When I went to print the page, I can see where the links are to change plan/cancel subscription. The moment I go back to the regular page, the pink box is there again. So I goggled how to switch off the auto renewal. I found a page with a link to turning this feature off. Low and behold I'm sent right back to the page with the pink box. Shame on your company for trying to lock teachers in to spending 12.99 a month! I am finishing my credential and work part time, every penny I have counts right now! I am disappointed and wont be able to recommend your website in the future!

When I signed up for the education.com Premium plan, I specifically changed the auto-renew to disabled. They obviously disregard this and charged my account anyway for a renewal. There was no email to me stating that they were going to charge my account or any other form of notice - even though I am not signed up for auto-renew. I have tried to take my CC info out of the account page and that is not an option. Seems like they just want to charge everyone multiple times and hope no one catches on. Looking to be reimbursed for something I did not agree to be renewed for. If this gets resolved, I will change my rating - they do have good worksheets to help your child out with trouble subjects and improve on good subjects - just didn't sign up for the renewal.
They returned my payment, but still kind of a pain to deal with the auto-renew, or an email to notify that auto-billing would be renewed on X date.

This company is impossible to contact
This company is impossible to contact. There is a charge for a subscription renewal on my school credit card. A teacher who is no longer at the school purchased a one year subscription last year. Apparently this company just automatically renews and charges the card on file without authorization. I've sent two emails trying to get hold of someone to get this corrected and have not heard anything back. I will have to open up a fraudulent charge case with the credit card company.

I was charged $97.70 (Cdn) on Nov.26 even though my subscription expires on Dec. 15/18 as is clearly stated in my account settings. I have emailed from my work email and personal email and have received no reply. I resorted to messsaging on FB and received a bogus email attached to my FB stating that my subscription is expired. I checked my education.com account and it is still active. Also, I have not been reimbursed for my 97.70. My colleague told me that this company charged her for 3 consecutive years without her authorization. Based on the reviews on this site, it appears that this unethical behaviour is part of the business plan of education.com. It is incredibly frustrating and suspicious that there is no one to call and that emails are not returned. Now I have resorted to this review in the hopes of getting some action and the return of my money. I also find it very suspicious that I cannot delete my credit card information from my account. Other online companies (Amazon comes to mind) allow you to delete credit card information. I want my subscription cancelled, I want my money back and I want my credit card information deleted from the education.com data base. Once these things are done I want my emails deleted as well.

I have been charged twice in two months…
I have been charged twice in two months and emailed by you both times saying you did not receive payment and been denied access to the site. I FB messaged you about this and was told I would get an email about the situation. I received an email from you..... saying that I had requested to change my password!?!?! Not a single word about the two payments you STOLE from me( proof of which I told you I had available), all while denying me use of the site!! I responded and have gotten nothing back, aside from a random email about some weekly boost thing for my child. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I have reached out to this company MULTIPLE times to try and get my issue of being double charged resolved and still NOTHING. Since there is no phone support, it seems the only way to try and get somebody to help is, sadly, to post my negative experience. I plan to change the review when the issue is resolved but until then, this seems to be the only solution.
