Charging me $12.99 for a basic free subscription pr months. Their contact email link doesn't work on their website. Please stay clear, they now owe me for several months. Don't know how to get rid of this, except cancel my cards. Frustrated
Even though I had the free subscription, I have been charged $15.99 on three occasions, twice on one day. I have reached out to customer service and have yet to receive a reply. I definitely would not recommend this site.

I'm so utterly confused by some of these reviews. It clearly states what the price per subscription is and that the price listed is at a significantly lower rate than subsequent months. It also very clearly states what the 2nd month subscription will cost. I find it completely unfair to blame a company for YOUR lack of correct budgeting and bill tracking. It also very clearly states your billing day is the same day every time, whether once a month or once a year...IT'S THE SAME DAY, unless the day doesn't exist and then it's the first available date.
this is a scam website, they offer you subscription on the first year at $59.94, then it will jump to $119.88 on the second year, and it is automatically resubscribe without any notice to you:
you have no notification, even no invoice will be sent to you, they just took your money quietly.
One day you may find this transaction from your bank statement, after you log into your account, click cancel subscription, it pops up a windows says they can refund 50% of your payment and lower to $59.94 for continuing subscribe. absolutely scam, beware !
FYI, you can NOT cancel your card stored on their website !!! !!! !!!

So here's the reason I hate it, it's because it can't tell you what you did wrong and the hints don't do anything! (And at the end it gives you the answer like as if it doesn't care about your education.)
and don't even get me started with the "Encouraging statements" ugh... I hate it, It's so annoying honestly. Anyway, that's just what I think.

I am devastated and hoping to hear back from education.com ASAP!!! I was unable to purchase crucial medical equipment today due to funds being withdrawn for education.com at a drastic increase. There was no prior notice of such an increase. I am set up for the automatic renewal, but when the renewal is more than 50% of previous invoices, advance notice should be given. With no direct phone line, there is no way to contact someone immediately. I need to communicate with someone as soon as possible!! Disappointed and devastated!!

I used Education.com for over three years. For the first two years, the premium annual fee was $54.99.
I did not receive a notification that it would be automatically renewed on April 15, 2019. And I received my credit account notification. I found out, the premium annual fee was increased to $119.88, Which is much more expensive than the past two years.
However, I am feel really upset and angry that when I was trying to cancel my subscription I find out I can get 50% off the subscription. I emailed to their customer service that I would like someone to tell me about this promotion price, and also ask for a refund for my over expersive premium membership.
Still waiting for them to email me back!!!!!!

The original website was about how land and water affect temperature. Bad website that should not exist overall. Let's hope that this website is taken down.
The material on the website is great but I need to cancel my subscription and can't find a customer service number anywhere! It's so annoying! The cost is not cheap and I am going to have to stop payment with my bank if I can't find customer service.

I do not even want to give a star!! This is a rip off!! Do NOT subscribe!! Once you subscribe they charge your account yearly. They do NOT let you know, they just do it!!! I homeschooled in 2015. We just noticed that in 2016, 17, 18 and 19 they have been charging my credit card!!! They have no phone number so no one can contact them. Waiting for a response to my email. I doubt that will happen. My bank will be going after them for a refund. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Im highly disappointed that your business didn't give any notice that my subscription was up for renewal. Instead just took the $170.14 AUD from my account without notice. More so, when canceling my subscription I find I can get 50% off the subscription. I would like a reason emailed to me as to why this promotion price? I see you have a cooling off period of 7 days, though when emailing to request a cancelation and refund I get no response.

I'm frustrated with this company. Unlike many others here, who seem to have to leave a review here to get any sort of response from their customer service, I sent an email several weeks ago and got a response in about 3 days. My kids are homeschooled and one of the resources we used regularly was kidsgeo.com. It was a wonderful collection of geography and science games and videos that my kids loved and were actively learning with. I had struggled to find something that was both comprehensive and kid-friendly, and kidsgeo.com was also free! Then all of a sudden, one day navigating to the page takes us instead to education.com where it says that kidsgeo.com is now a part of them and that they've taken you to "a similar page". But it's not a similar page. It's some geography worksheets I could print out (if my printer were working) and no games at all. I tried in vain to find a phone number, which was frustrating since you can only find info that says "we do have a phone number, but here - send us an email instead". So I did that and got my response back later, which basically said that they will be determining which things from kidsgeo.com (along with other sites they've recently acquired) they will end up keeping for their site. We are really bummed that these games couldn't just remain available while they make their determination. Education.com has no geography games that we have been able to find at all, and to wipe out a fantastic site in the middle of the school year just seems unnecessary and ridiculous. Please bring them back!!!

Scam company !!
I signed up to try their premium and was forced into an auto monthly renewal plan which I was supposed to be able to cancel
At the end of the first month , I decided that this site is not for me and went back to cancel subscription. However I found that I was already not a premium member (means I am not able to cancel as it my subscription was somehow already stopped)
Yet my credit card was charged for the following 3 months and they fail to reply my emails requesting for a refund and to stop charging me !!
I contacted Education.com via email on February 17, 2019. As I type this, I am still waiting for a personal response. I did receive a computer generated response, saying that they had received my email.

I recently tried emailing education.com to receive a refund. Their website is blocked at my school district and I am unable to use my account. I just had my auto renew go through and they are not responding in regards to giving me a refund. This is very poor customer service. How can they not have a customer service hotline? This seems shady to me. I have been very happy in the past with the materials this company produces, but the customer service needs to improve. I would appreciate a service representative contacting me back personally and giving me a refund of my $71.88 for the past two years!

No customer service number. I never had the account set on auto charge and was automatically charged a year after my year was up. It was never authorized and for something that I didn't use since November for double the price. I attempted to contact via email but no replies have been done on the companies end. Will not recommend.
