Amazing Site

Amazing site. I wish I had found it sooner to be quite honest. After struggling with distance learning, and honestly doing my best for my kids, I just lacked the tools to give them that little bit of extra help that they needed.

Education.com gave me everything I needed. They are only with me half the time, but I can still give them assignments to complete when they aren't with me. They are both behind in math a little, and it is just that consistent daily effort that is catching them up.

Well worth the money. If you are on the fence about it, just get it. And education.com is very upfront about the auto renewal, so it is a non issue. So I don't forget about it, right after I got the annual subscription, I simply cancelled my subscription, I still have access to all the content for 1 year. Next year when I'm about to run out, I have no doubt that the good people at Education.com remind me, and if I want to renew, the will let me renew and take my money.

Thinking twice about subscribing again.

The last time I had used this site was when I had a one-year subscription and because their system is auto-renew they charged my card for another full year of subscription. However, when I called their attention to the matter, they immediately returned my money. I stopped using it because, for unknown reasons, the videos did not work well, sentences were not aligned, graphics were scrambled that I cannot put my answer mostly in multiple-choice. Ironically, before I subscribed for one year, I had been a subscriber on monthly basis and I was satisfied. Now, my child remember how good it was and he wants to play on it again but I am thinking twice.

Great Site

It's great. My son had problems on what to do on a science project. You may be thinking why is my son doing a science project if he knows that he'll have problems. Well it's because my sons school system requires ALL STUDENTS to do that bullshlt until they graduate school. Up to pre-k to 12 grade. then i found this site. THANKS!!!!!!!!

Terrible, unhelpful, non responsive customer service

They have been terrible and unhelpful so far. My first graders are at home on Chrome books during distance learning. I paid for a premium membership so I could share games with my students and they could have fun learning at home. Every time I create an assignment and share a game with them to play on Google Classroom the students are unable to play. So sad for them! They click the game and get excited and then an error message always shows up saying they have to pay for a membership.
I contacted Education.com and they said the kids need to go into their accounts and jump through hoops and click a bunch of things to t even get to a game. How hard is it for them to just let me share a link to a game on Google classroom? Hard apparently. I emailed them back as soon as I saw they didn't even begin to solve my problem. It's been 4 days. No reply. They want me to send a SCREEN SHOT of what's happening. I am not with my kids- they are at home. They want a 6 year old to send a screen shot? How about picking up the phone and calling me? Or offering to do a live chat?
No, instead they just aren't returning any more requests for help. My poor students- what a TERRIBLE company. HORRIBLE USELESS customer service. Isn't life hard enough for all of us right now?

So far so good.

I have been a member for education.com for > 1 yr now. So far the site has been wonderful. I usualy use it to help practice and get supplements study materail for my children. Also excellent packages during summer breaks for children to keep up with their skills. They also great games to keep the kids engaged.
I am so glad I found this site.

It bad they have the same thing over and over my kids say all the time it is boring for them. I sent email to them they told me nothing that make no reasoning so they are bad and always charging me so they suck like hell!

So disappointed!

Have tried twice to contact via email with no response. I was charged for a premium membership without notification that my membership was even coming due. I do not want to continue the membership but they are making it so difficult to get in touch with anyone! I want a full refund. I am so disappointed.

Update: I received a response and the problem has been resolved.

I am appauled with this company

I am appauled with this company. I have emailed this company on multiple occasions over the last 5 months. I have cancelled my auto renew on my account multiple times and I continue to be charged and needing to go back into my account to cancel the auto renew. I have emailed the company to ask for cancellation and refund, however, I continue to not hear back.

These people are absolutely…

These people are absolutely disgraceful. They have twice tried to charge my account with amounts of $156 for basic free membership. First in 2017 and then a break and now in 2020 I find that they have tried to do it again. It seems I may have to cancel my credit card to stop these criminals from striking again. It seems to be a common theme. Don't give them your credit card details. They are absolute sharks.

mysterious charge

I just found a premium membership charge for this company but I have no idea about it. Looks like lots of similar complaints! I have emailed the company and hope for a reversal of charges, otherwise it will go the fraud department.

I received a fraudulent charge on my account on 9/12/20 for $119.88 for a premium membership? There is no way to reach anyone by phone, only email. I've emailed the company and am waiting for a response.

Don't go there

I think this site has some value. Paid for a premium membership and the charge went through my bank account. We were able to navigate the site just fine that first day, but the next day I was locked out. Confirmed payment cleared (as the responses in other reviews would lead to you believe it was the customer's issue and not the company). My daughter loved the typing, but will have to cancel my credit card to avoid further charges.

I signed up for the trial subscription…

I signed up for the trial subscription in 2019. There was no information listed that the subscription would automatically renew nor did I receive any communication via email of the impending renewal. Well 2 days ago I see the charge for the service on my bank statement. I go to the site and see that it automatically renewed. And to make matters worse there is no way to remove my credit card from their site. Do not sign up it is a sham.

MY MONEY WAS TAKEN...

CONSUMER ALERT!!! DO NOT GIVE your credit card information to this company. On Sept 20th, I noticed they charged my credit card $119.88 on Sept 19th. I immediately requested a refund. The support person, Linda, claimed that she searched their records and she could only find a “free” Basic subscription and that she needed my last 4 digits credit card information and any other registered email that I may have used. I didn’t feel comfortable releasing any credit card to this company because I didn’t authorize (the current) and I was never notified about the $119.88 charge. I have not used this site in years so why charge my account. (Think about it, even credit card companies will cancel your account for inactivity. ) As I searched my records, I found that I requested a refund once before on Oct 25, 2018 and received a response about you must have used another account. Sounds familiar right? Was I charged in 2019 and didn’t realize it? How many years have they be charging my account and I just didn’t realize it? I will report this to the Better Business Bureau hopefully to change this pattern of dipping into hard working people’s pocket-no warning and no lube. Yes, this hurt my pockets. Poor customer service! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED not to release your credit card info. If you decide to move forward, it may be best to buy yourself a gift credit credit card and save yourself from any future entanglements.
