Let’s start with the positive: elf has good dupes (talking from previous experiences). So, it’s worth the wait. “Worth the wait?” you might say. Yes, the wait. I ordered on the 4th of December with an expected delivery of 5 to 8 business days. After 10 days I still hadn’t received anything, so I emailed and they told me to give it 3 more business days. Now it’s December 28: still haven’t received anything. That’s 24 days, instead of the expected 8. When tracking the package, it hasn’t even been sorted at DHL (delivery company in NL). I’m expecting it will not arrive before 2024? Such a shame, because I love every elf product I have, and was (and am) excited for my ordered products.

Ordering from e.l.f eu website to the Netherlands is a nightmare. I got an email that my order was out for delivery with DHL, it never came so I checked the status and it said returned to sender because the listed an incomplete address despite my address being correct on my order confirmation. I notified them and they did a reshipment, only to have the same address issue. I tried to intercept and requested to be delivered service point on DHLs website but it still got returned.

Customer service showed me the confirmation address saying they have it right, which I am not denying because I also see it on my email but then something is wrong with their logistics if from their system to the actual parcel, half of the address gets erased! I have asked them to look into it and they keep saying give us an address for reshipment which doesn't address the issue because I can give a new address but it will be erased again...

So I asked if they could reship to a DHL service point directly and they are asking me for the relay address. They won't confirm that it will be a pick up order and keep asking for the address. I spoke to DHL, they confirm that if the shop address is the direct one used on the parcel then the parcel technically is the shop owners and not mine.

Such a waste of time! I'm ready to take a refund and never buy from their website again.

Do not buy off the ELF AU website! Short shipped me - they didn't send me 3/4 of my order & took weeks to reply and still didn't send out the missing products - they ended up ghosting! Do not buy ELF directly from their website!! If you do - I strongly suggest using Afterpay so you can request a refund through them. As there is no way you will be able to get in contact with ELF themselves. They lied saying my missing items were being dispatched and still never received them months later!

Ordered 10 days ago. Order still not shipped out. No updates. Worst customer service ever. I have ordered from no less than a dozen other sites this holiday season and not one single company has taken this long to ship.

ELF charged me 71.60 including tax and shipping. Then they said they did not have product to fill the order and “refunded” me. What did they refund? The $60 price of the item without the tax and shipping charges. Where is the rest of my refund? No one replies to customer service emails. No one answers on Messenger. There is no phone number to call in Canada. The chat function on the website does not work. How are problems ever addressed?

Order cancelled due to 'increased order volume' so does everywhere else but they haven't cancelled my orders. Don't bother.

Absolute Rip off !!!!! Company takes your money but doesn’t send anything out ! Ordered items that were for a gift more than two weeks ago and not even had a email to say the items have been shipped! I have cancer and little money and the items were gifts for my daughter! Needless to say I am devastated as I can’t afford to replace them! I have tried to contact them but had no response! It is nothing more than theft ! This company has absolutely no morals and they just don’t give a damn ! They quite literally take your money and give you the middle finger ! It’s a disgrace!

Poor customer service. Ordered from them after Christmas last year as they had a sale on and took a while to ship my items, I had to reach out to them and they eventually sent it and also sent me an email with a 40% off code in January. I went to use this code in October and it did not work despite it having NO expiry date on it, the only t&c was it can't be redeemed on sale or new items. Fast forward to their cyber Monday sale this year and I made an order on the day only for it to still not be shipped 9 days later. I messaged them on Instagram and they told me to email them so I did, same old rubbish that they've been overwhelmed by orders so there's a delay. Why on earth are they still abhorrently slow at dispatching anything when they have a sale? It's been a year and they're still the same, sort it out! I enquired about the discount code not working and was ignored so I asked again and why it wasn't seeing as there was no expiry date and they abruptly said it's no longer valid, and that was that basically. I'm sure they'll probably send the same discount code after this delivery fiasco but I wouldn't bother ordering...at this rate I'm contemplating cancelling my order. It's a shame really as their reward scheme is pretty decent in terms of offers and freebies but their customer service and dispatch time is ridiculous.

After placing an order with this company I have had no confirmation that order is being dispatched and when I go on the website it says my order number doesn’t exist. I have emailed this company with zero response. DO NOT WASTE your money with these con artists

First of all, there is no way a customer can check if the package is shipped or not. There's no tracking number, they don't alert you it's shipped or not. This time they changed my address without letting me know so the package went back during the shipment. I emailed them 2 times but didn't respond over a week. So annoying! Horrible experience. Also do not buy these drugstore brands on Amazon too. There's no rule or morality in managing stocks and they just send returned/opened products and it's so gross! When you go to drugstores, you can still see some have opened on the shelves bc ppl were so curious of the shade and there's no tester.. If you insist buying these brands, go to the offline store and check the product condition with your eyes. Otherwise it's just a pain in the ass

I am adding my experience to the many of zero response from this company. Looking at other experiences I feel fortunate that I received 2 out of 3 items purchased. (#164824). Absolutely no response to my emails about not receiving 3rd item. Will never purchase from this company online again. Beware.

After several months of demure, pink clad women gracefully (if sardonically) tip-toeing through their ads on Amazon's freevee, e.l.f. Is back to running their satanic advertising on this service. This may truly be the reason I dump Amazon. The e.l.f.? that stuff went in my trash after the first campaign. See, they don’t want us older folks to know what nastiness this company is dishing out to Gen Z. Want to know? Look on instagram. Parents of teenagers, hold their allowances if your kids are spending their money on these products. No truly vegan company would appeal to their customers with such dark advertising.

The website is absolutely useless! Slow and jumpy! Changing the names of colour shades for no apparent reason and not putting a note on the website so your left wondering which shade is your usual one. Also, customer service is non existent! I’ve been trying to apply a Social Worker discount code for two days but it won’t work. Trying to contact customer service is a joke, they just don’t bother to respond. ELF have just lost a long term customer, I’m very disappointed but standards have slipped.

If you are in a rush to get these products, DO NOT ORDER

What kind of service are you operating ?
I will never order anything from you again and also pass the word around.
Not reliable, I want my money back bit will probably be waiting as long.

Online it states all emails will be responded to in 1 business day.
My order still hasn't arrived, was supposed to be here 11 days ago. No one has responded to me except for what seems like an automated response saying "we will look into it and contact you in 3 days." It's been 5 and no word or reply to my follow up. I spent about 150 dollars and have no idea if I'm getting a refund, or my package. I'm wildly upset by the lack of response or help. I hope I'll be able to get either a refund or my makeup

I had an issue with delivery on behalf of the postal service. The address didn’t have my unit number and I contacted e.l.f. Customer service. If I could give them more stars I would. They are sending out a new shipment since the first one was being returned to sender. They were super courteous and efficient.

Oof, I'm surprised at the bad reviews. I started using ELF cosmetics in the US and was happy to see they're available in the UK too after I moved here.

The prices are great, the reward points add up fast, and I love everything I've ever bought from them. I've never had any issues with delivery or customer service.

Love elf cosmetics! There’s not one item that I have purchased that I haven’t loved yet! Their 16hr concealer is by far the best coverage and longest lasting concealer I have ever experienced. Halo glow is just stunning with that dewy look. I will recommend and never stop buying!

I ordered 5 items from ELF and only 4 arrived. The item that didn't arrive was the most expensive item and the reason why I was buying ELF cosmetics.
The other items I did receive are great and I was going to order more products but after contacting customer service 3 times via email and from the website I have had no response.
I have now sent a message via FB messenger and really hope they come back to me soon as customer service is what customers rely on when buying productions online.
