e.l.f. Cosmetics Reviews 

ORDERED IN APRIL AND STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY PACKAGE. This is honestly ridiculous, why on earth do you guys not have a customer complaint phone number and only an email?? Never received a confirmation from Aus post or a tracking number so e.l.f. have literally just taken the money. Please just give me a full refund if you do decide to respond to my email, I ordered over 50$ worth of items. Order number is #147725.
Edit: They have now since given me a refund but did not actually apologise for the inconvenience - I just got an email about the refund.

First of all, the website is constantly glitchy every single time I use it. I can only use my coupons if I'm in the US, which I am not and have not been for years. I don't think they even ship to Canada anymore because it doesn't let me change the country of my billing address, so I can no longer order anything at all. The website also keeps switching in between countries for whatever reason. ELF team, PLEASE fix these issues! Until they can actually ship to Canada again, I wouldn't waste my time. I used to love this store so much and now I have to go somewhere else. Thanks ELF.

I purchased the products online on June 16, and the package was "shipped"on the same day and it should arrive on July 6. I tracked the package almost everyday for the progress however it wasn't updated since then. The tracking number of the courier they provided wasn't even vaild.

Totally I emailed the customer service 3 times after July 13 to see what is going on, but I never get any responses. Ended up I DMed the company on Twitter, finally I was told that the package had been lost in transit and they will issue me a refund.

Let's see how long it takes to get my money back. Just can't believe that such animal friendly company is not being friendly to their customers.

It's only fair I change from 1* to now 5* absolutely fantastic emailed back and resolved my issue thank you so much my daughter is obsessed with ELF!! 5*

Normally never any problems with elf but unfortunately I ordered 3 items and 2 was missing so contacted them via email, tbh I did get a quick response back, they asked if I wanted a refund of my 2 missing items or the 2 sending out again, as me and my daughter love elf I just said please replace the missing items now all communications have stopped. So 1* If I get my things or a email in what they are going to do I'll change it to 5* because this is the first problem I've had and Normally pretty good.

Ordered 7 weeks ago and still not delivered. Customer service is appalling. SCAM

I ordered from their website and after 7 days I received a totally empty package! I contacted them but received no response. I am now awaiting the reclamation process from the carrier, but based on other reviews I do not expect to get my money back from this disgraceful company with the WORST customer service.

Really nice make up, items arrived within 7 days and nicely packaged. Will definitely order again.

Their site would literally not let me change my shipping address when I tried to check out, just billing, and so they sent it to an address I don't even live at anymore and won't let me change it.
The address they used wasn't even in the saved addresses anymore, they shouldn't have even had it saved in their system anymore.

it took 24 days for the package to arrive when they said it would arrive on the 22nd (19 days after I placed the order). they updated the order status more than 1 week after the whole time so you couldn't see for example that the package had left a country until a week later. I emailed them when it had been cooking in the Netherlands for a week and then they said that the package got lost in transit and that I could get refound or place a new order. then all of a sudden I got an email yesterday (May 26) that the package had arrived when I had no idea where it had been for the last 2 weeks. I took home delivery on the website but had the package sent to some small hole under an apartment building that wasn't even close to where I live. I went there anyway and picked up the package and it looked like the package had been thrown like a thousand times. the carton was torn, they had taped around the entire package so that nothing would fall out, but there was still a lot of dust in the package and the sides were completely pressed in. when I got home and opened the package, several items had come loose from their packaging and parts had come loose, etc. in addition to this, ALL products were dusty and dirty. For example on a pencil sharpener it looked like someone had used it. the pictures on the products are not correct either. I ordered a palette where the pictures show that it should have a mirror on the lid. but it arrived without a mirror and with glass here instead. so the pictures do not correspond at all to what you actually get home. even shein has better delivery and handling than this! lousy! the products are certainly good but I will never order more from here because of the delivery. it took them 10 days to even start packing my package..? at shein they sent it out the same evening…

Awful customer service! Parcel was over a week late in being delivered, company advised me to just keep waiting before they could class it as lost in transit. Not even an apology that it was taking so long!
After I emailed them, miraculously my parcel turned up a few days later. Not all e.l.f fault but they did choose to use that particular delivery company. Won’t be ordering from them again

I've never been great with make up, foundation specifically, I can rarely get a foundation that feels light enough and wearable. I bought some E.l.f Flawless Satin foundation and I'm quite Impressed. Not only is it Vegan and Cruelty free (as are all their products) but the coverage is great! I was keen to try it on and didn't put on a primer but it still went on nice and the colour (Alabaster) is great! Well done E.l.f for impressing a tricky foundation buyer!

I love shopping at elf whenever they have 30-40% sales & big clearance sales. I always buy from the website whenever there is a clearance sale which they don't have too often but it's good for me because I don't shop on elf all the time in general. But I have never had an issue with orders from the past, never received something expired, used or busted. Even when I needed help to do an address change they were quick to help me with my problem & changed it right away. I love their makeup & makeup accessories. The two things I don't care for is their skincare line, it never worked out for my skin especially the holy hydration & the second thing is their collaborations with unknown people. It's just the same thing but different packaging with their autographs that you're basically paying for. That's the only things I don't care for, not saying it's bad but I'm not bothered in purchasing them. I do own their chemical peel, the only skincare item I do own that is worth buying, works well & is super gentle on my skin especially since I have sensitive dry skin. Other than that, never had an issue with delivery, with my items, super affordable, good makeup & have had my stuff shipped in a reasonable time.

Really don't get the bad reviews! Really gorgeous products, very affordable and shipping has been fine! Takes a while (approx 1.5 - 2 weeks) but I receive everything I order!

Made an order, bur never received the products. Contacten them by email, and they said that because there was technical glitch in their system with Klarna, they didnt receive my order. And that I should fix it with Klarna or my bank. I did not order with Klarna. My bank is not in the position to get the money bank after 1 month. After this I am being ignored by elf cosmetics. They are a total scam.

You’ve made it literally impossible for me to buy from you. The basket won’t go through checkout until I remove unavailable items. However there is no indication which of the 9 items is unavailable. I’m not going to waste my time checking each item, having read people’s reviews here I don’t think some of the products are worth the hassle. It’s a shame because I liked the moisturiser and SPF. By the way, if you made your contact details available I would have come to you directly.

It's no wonder that the reviews are so bad. Brought a mascara from this company for the first time, wand is dry as a bone, no product in there atall. Sent complaint, including photos 5 days ago, still no response. Very poor service. Won't buy again.

I have not received my products yet, but realized that I forgot the coupon code for my order. I emailed the company and they responded immediately and are honoring the coupon code. I am surprised at the negative reviews because I received an immediate response to my email. Hope the products live up to the hype.

Really slow. Ordered on 31st Jan and its taken 4 days for them to even ship. No email to say they had received my order. Hopefully to the products are good, but I won't be ordering directly again.

Burnt my daughters face, her skin peeled off. Please read the ingredients when you purchase face cream this contains alcohol. It should have a warning sign!

I am a vegan and consistently used elf cosmetics over the years. I went online today and discovered they no longer include reviews with their products . I wonder if someone else bought the company considering how terrible the reviews are here.
