It was a waste of my time and money
It was a waste of my time and money, at the end of a year with this company. They messed up and every time I called the last month I was still working with them, I got the run around. It's September 2025, I had nothing but praise for these folks at first; but I see now, it was really about them getting my money despite whatever other financial hurdles I may have been going through. I was meeting their prerequisites for the program I signed up to take part in to help myself get out of debt.
The last month was the hardest, no returned calls, and every time I called to speak with the person assigned to me they were unavailable. As a result, I terminated the association with them on April 2025. When I enquired when I could expect a refund of my money I was told to wait two weeks.
I made follow up calls over the next couple of weeks but, I was told my case was being reviewed. I got tired of being given the run-around so I gave it a rest.
And, now in September 2025, a few days ago I get an email stating the money was not refundable because the processing, and fees associated with representing me, went above and beyond what they had in my account; thus, I was not entitled to a refund. Funny, not one person I talked to while I was working with their company to resolve my debt bothered to inform me, by phone, or other mode of communication that a lack of sufficient money in my account with them was an issue.
Moral of this story: Save up enough of your own money on the side, get a part time gig to supplement, and work out a practical plan to pay off your creditors - if they are ethical they'll keep their word, if you keep yours, but as this is a country where the written word carries weight--get everthing in writing once the details have been ironed out to the satisfaction of both parties. Just saying.

What we can state with certainty, is that the overwhelming majority of our clients have expressed satisfaction with our services, as reflected in the many positive reviews available online. Conversely, negative reviews make up less than .1 percent of our client base. This is something our firm, and our attorneys, take great pride in.

The individual in question has declined to provide Trustpilot with the information necessary for us to verify their identity or confirm that they were ever represented by our firm. Accordingly, we remain unable to determine whether this person was, in fact, a client. What can be stated with absolute clarity is that our client services agreement, which every client reviews and signs prior to engagement, explicitly provides that all fees paid to our firm are earned upon performance of legal services and are therefore non-refundable.

Elite Legal Practice was deceptive and I was their prey . I was already enrolled with Freedom Debt Relief. They set the money you pay aside and it is your money until you use it to settle so Elite Legal Practice preys on people like me promising that they guarantee your Settlement will be 50% of what you owe. I had a payment due & asked them just to wait 4 days so I would have money in the bank to cover it. They withdrew it anyway. The refused to reverse it & wait 4 days. I had to call my bank for help. They said I had to file a claim. They could not hold it for 4 days before clearing it. I called Elite Legal Practice to make the payment 4 days later and they said they could not take the payment over the phone from me. They had to have a letterform the Bank saying they could do automatic withdrawal again. They KNOW banks don't do this. I learned this is how they settle debts is they ask for things they know Banks don't provide and don't do. There were numerous phone calls between me having to call Elite and calling and going into my Bank. Elite kept saying I could just pay them, it had to be auto withdrawal and they had to have a letter from the Bank that they know Banks don't write. I had closed the claim 4 days later when I called to pay Elite and they told me if I filed a claim I might be dropped. Of course they DIDN'T say that at the beginning before my Bank told me I had to file the claim since Elite would reverse the payment and wait 4 days. 45 days later Chase sent a letter which I forwarded to Elite but they said I would have to re enroll. Then they said I couldn't re enroll because I had filed a claim! They were NOT HONEST like Freedom financial so they told me they are keeping ALL the money I had paid to Freedom Financial as well as the payments I had made to them! They should be the ones being taken to Court! They said " a lot of work had been done" NOTHING had been accomplished. The same creditors who have been contacting me are still contacting me. NO settlements were made.

Elite Legal Practice is a consumer rights law firm—not a debt settlement company, and that was made abundantly clear during your enrollment process which included our client services agreement that you subsequently acknowledged and signed. We do not, and would never, guarantee any specific settlement percentage, let alone a 50% reduction. Such a claim is not only legally and ethically inappropriate, but also entirely contrary to our professional standards. Any suggestion that we “prey” on consumers by making such guarantees is categorically false and deeply misleading.
Regarding your payment concerns: our firm follows strict compliance protocols when handling client accounts. Once a payment is initiated, we are bound by banking regulations and cannot arbitrarily reverse transactions or bypass security procedures. Your bank’s requirement for a reinstatement letter is standard practice following a disputed transaction, and not a tactic unique to our firm. We regret that this process caused frustration, but it is designed to protect both parties.
We also want to clarify that Elite Legal Practice has no access to or authority over funds paid to Freedom Debt Relief or any other third-party entity. Any claim that we “kept” money paid to another company is factually incorrect.
While we understand that financial hardship can be stressful, misrepresenting facts and accusing a licensed law firm of deception does not serve anyone and is very counterproductive. Furthermore, our records show that substantial work was performed on your behalf including, but not limited to, creditor outreach and legal review.
If you would like us to review your specific account details further, we invite you to contact our client care team directly. We are always willing to clarify misunderstandings and ensure every client receives the professional support they deserve.

Elite legal practice...helped to bring my credit spiral to an end.The constant switching cards to chase interest rates ,taking out debt consolidation loans...always just on more and I'd be set..well never worked out...and the business is set to keep you spiraling
Elite legal puts a stop to this ..they contact your creditors and fight for you...and if you only get one call from creditors Elite legal is right there to stop those calls.
