I have been with Ember for around 3 years and wouldn't have it any other way. Excellent customer service, great tools and features. Can't wait to see where they go next.

Ember is so easy to use and the team is always brilliant when helping with any issues through Live Chat. Has made my life so much easier and they answer all my inane questions about taxes / helped me through some difficult financial stuff when I was struggling. A really incredible team!

I recently lost something on one of the ember buses and the help getting it back was amazing! I forgot a vinyl record on a bus from Dundee to Glasgow and realised on another bus back home. When I realised I called Ember customer service and they got back to me quickly, efficiently and clearly. The customer lines were clear and they helped me get the lost property back into my possession. Lyndsey Mutch in customer service deserves nothing but the best!

I’m an Ember business accounting customer, and recently reached out to them for an accountants certificate for a mortgage application. The service was super fast with Steve going above and beyond to help us get the mortgage company what they needed as soon as possible. Would highly recommend.

Overall Buggy software but good pricing

Ember is great for small businesses and the support via the chat is amazing as you get to chat to their employees.

However its often let down by their buggy app which makes me have to reach out to their customer support every other week.

Just this month I've had to raise issues with:

1. VAT amount discrepencies
2. Incorrect VAT transaction included in VAT return - This one was super weird and buggy, ember was including a previous years' transaction in the VAT return for my current period
3. Salary transaction incorrectly assigned to the wrong category causing invalid values in my report
4. They don't support plan 4 student loan calculations so my Self Assessment value is slightly off
5. Currently requested a review for a discrepancy between reported bank balance in their app vs what I actually have in my bank accounts. However the ticket was opened an entire month ago and I'm still waiting...

Ember really needs to sort their software out as its letting their customers down big time

Great app for annual accounts and other stuff. Easy workflow, very clear

David filed my tax return using information provided to him. took all the stress out of filing a tax return as it is all new to me and felt a bit daunting. Definitely worth the fee.

Corporation tax, annual accounts, VAT and self assessment ALL scared the s*** out of me at first.

I had no idea what any of it was, how I calculated them and no clue where to get started.

But Ember makes the whole thing easy. Although the software has a short learning curve, they do an amazing job of explaining as much as they can in layman's terms.

The peace of mind is worth the cost of subscription and the support team are incredible. It's pretty much hands off and I never really need to think about it. So long as you log in every so often and categorise all your income and expenditure (it links to your business bank account).

You also get reminders whenever you do need to step in and do something else. i.e. your VAT bill is due, we've already worked out how much you owe so please click this button to let us submit it for you.

Super easy.

Highly recommend. It's a game changer.

If you are looking for a hands off admin experience for your business needs Ember is a great choice.

I have been with Ember for a few years now and worked with multiple accountants on their team. They were always helpful and did most of the tasks much faster than traditional accountants. They are also helping me on other accounting tasks. The app gives all the info I need whenever I want.

The first accountants I've had in 20 years, that I've been impressed with.
I joined online yesterday evening. With help of their online assistance (Sophie), today I was able to setup my bank feed, run my payroll and submit my VAT.
Everything seems to be in your control and pending tasks are visible in the UI.
A truly breath of fresh air.

Steve did an exceptional job with our R&D claim, easy five stars. Also the Ember software is very easy to use, albeit slow on mobile.

Fantastic System and Team. Been using Ember for 2 years now and it is the simplest easiest platform I have ever used, and I have tried plenty of them. The fact the software is so good is backed up by the expert team who respond quickly and with the same simplicity as is found in their software.
