Fake promises and a touchy customer service representative
I requested a quote for a sensor that was marked on the website as “in stock” and “available for immediate delivery.”
The part was clearly identifiable, so there was no need for any further questions or negotiations.
I deliberately did not provide a phone number, as in a situation like this an email contact is more than sufficient for sending a quote.
Instead of providing a quote, the customer service representative immediately asked for a phone number in her reply email. I declined, referring to previous bad experiences in similar situations with other providers.
This was clearly not well received, and from that point on the entire conversation went off track. According to the Hungarian customer service agent, I was somehow at fault: allegedly I was not satisfied with the price (which, ironically, I never even received), and in general my request was treated as unreasonable.
An unprofessional and overly sensitive attitude. It is unfortunate, as this kind of behavior reflects poorly on the company and causes significant damage to the employer’s reputation.

I have had a look through the email trail that you had with our sales representative and can see that you gave us a target price that we were unfortunately unable to meet and you were advised as such.
Regarding the request for more contact details, this was just a regular business practice for us as we like to get to know each and every potential customer so that we can best fulfil their needs. I can see that once you told us you did not want to give your number we responded by telling you we respect that and would continue via email, with the tone being respectful from our representative.

Aziende poco affidabile e per niente professionale
Purtroppo al uni ricambi ordinari sono arrivati danneggiati, nonostante ho scritto all’agente e inviato foto delle parti difettose, ad oggi nessuna risposta, magicamente non rispondono neanche più a richieste di offerta, tutto questo non è accettabile e poco professionale per non dire altre cose! Price Gouging Central
quoted me $286 and $215 for Fans for a fanuc Controlled CNC. they told me they are much cheaper than other for "expensive" parts. I contacted fanuc they quoted me $32 and $33 dollars for the same fans. This is price gouging at its finest. I tried to give them a second chance to requote but I was ignored.

I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t satisfied with the quote you received from us. I’m really glad you were able to find what you needed elsewhere at a price you were happy with. As one of my colleagues explained to you on the phone earlier, the higher cost was due to aluminium charges and the fact that we would have needed to source these parts from Europe, which made us less competitive on this occasion.
Thank you again for letting us know that you were able to secure a lower price elsewhere — I would have done exactly the same. I certainly hope that you can use the money saved towards the upcoming holiday season.
