Vlad diagnosed the problem regarding my dryer not heating up. He had the spare part in his truck and was able to fix it under an hour. Fast and efficient.

I initially had a positive experience with this company, which makes this situation even more disappointing.
In November, my oven stopped turning on. The technician diagnosed a faulty door motor and ordered the part, which took about a month to arrive due to backorder. When he returned and installed it, the oven still didn’t work, and he then determined the igniter also needed replacing. I agreed to both repairs and paid approximately $485. without complaint. I was even asked to leave a review at that time, which I did positively, as I had no reason to question the service.
However, in early March, I began experiencing similar issues again. The oven door would sometimes not open, and at other times the door would open but the control panel would lock and become unresponsive. At first it happened occasionally, but within a couple of weeks it became more frequent. Because this was the same issue returning only a few months after a nearly $500 repair, I contacted the company and explained that I did not feel I should have to pay for another service call.
After some discussion, I was told the service fee would be waived, and that if additional parts were needed, I would receive a $50 discount. Based on this, I agreed to the appointment. Unfortunately, I was stood up 2 times before the same technician finally arrived.
The appointment took about 15-20 minutes. He said he reset my oven and it was now in working order. He then asked if I ever used my self clean function. I said I did occasionally but that I had not used it since November. He advised me not to use it, stating that the high heat can sometimes cause different components to fail over time. This was the first time self-cleaning had ever been mentioned in any of the service calls. and he did not indicate that he repaired or reset anything related to it.
At this time I told him that I would not be paying the service call because it had been waived, and he left.
After the visit, I began receiving repeated phone calls, texts and emails stating I had an outstanding balance, despite my responding each time explaining that I had been told the service fee was waived. My responses were not acknowledged, and the same messages were repeatedly resent, sometimes multiple times per day.
When I finally spoke with the manager, she stated that I had been informed I would need to pay and claimed the technician had repaired the self-clean function. She also stated she had both a recording and photos to support this. I requested both. She provided phone recording but refused to provide the photos, stating they were internal and could not be shared. She also advised that if payment was not received by end of day, that same day, the account would be sent to collections and an additional fee would be added.
This escalation occurred less than a week after the service visit. By the end of that same day, I received another phone call and an emailed invoice from what appeared to be their in-house collections department, with the additional $99 fee already added. Since then, I have continued to receive repeated phone calls and invoices multiple times a day, despite sending written explanations and a formal dispute.
This experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially given my initially positive interaction. I paid nearly $500 for a repair that failed within months, was told the follow-up service fee would be waived, and then was billed anyway despite documentation supporting my understanding.
I hope this review encourages clearer communication, transparency, and accountability in future customer interactions.

Very poor experience with Express Repair. My appointment was delayed multiple times, and I was repeatedly told that the part would arrive on a specific day and kept getting delayed. When the part finally arrived the original technician could not to do the service due to family emergency, which I completely understood but I was not informed of this until I called them to follow up. Also, they do not have a best business practice in place if one of their technicians is off ill or called off due family emergency. You would have to wait for the same technician who diagnosed the problem to come back from leave, or you would have to pay an additional service fee of $100 to have another technician come out to do the service. I would call that a cash grab.
I had to keep calling myself just to get an update, and every time I spoke with the staff, they were unhelpful. The lack of communication and poor customer service made this very frustrating experience. I would not recommend using this repair service.

I paid a $1,000 deposit in December 2025 for appliance repairs that were never completed.
Over several months, I was unable to get clear updates or documentation confirming that parts were ordered or available. Communication was mostly through calls and voicemails rather than written responses.
After I followed up multiple times, I was asked to sign a revised invoice offering only a partial refund, which I did not agree to. I was also told my deposit would be void if I did not sign within a deadline.
I have since requested a full refund and filed a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario.
I recommend ensuring everything is clearly documented before proceeding with this company.
Update: The company has stated that I agreed to a revised partial refund amount. I would like to clarify that I did not agree to this. I have consistently requested a full refund of the $1,000 deposit in writing and have filed a complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario.

I would like to share my experience with this company so that others can avoid the headache and suffering.
Called them to service a stove top burner repair. Told me that it would be an easy repair and that they have an excellent technician with a ton of experience working on this brand. The technician diagnosed a fault burner and asked for the money upfront. Once the part came in he installed it and said it did t work still because of a different part the control board. Said its unrepairable and left. Once he left the larger burner starts burning non stop. The stove which was useable before is now a safety hazard. He didnt come back until the end of the day. They broke the stove and refused to issue a full refund. Not sure how this business operates but I would avoid at all costs. They said they can do anything to get your business, then break your stuff and charge you for parts that didn’t end up fixing the issue?
The worst part is that they said they would credit the repair if I purchased appliances from their store?! As if they wanted to up charge me more and extract more money from me. Absolutely horrid experience. In the end I paid $330 to make my stove unusable.
EDIT: The total paid was $500 to which only $170 was refunded. Express Repair stated that since they installed a burner that I had to pay for the burner + diagnosis. It doesn't matter to them or their manager that they left the stove in an unusable condition now that the burner they installed is constantly on and won't turn off unless the entire range is unplugged.

Had a technician come in because my dishwasher was not draining he arrived on time he was pleasant and he stayed 1/2 hour fixed problem but was not happy with price ......I was charged $280 for 1/2 hour work that is ridiculous and a robbery in my opinion and on phone I was told they were waiving their $99 if I go with them but I believe that charge was built in to the bill, pure robbery
