We paid to have the order rushed
We paid to have the order rushed. The order showed up after the confirmed rush date and it was the wrong design after the design had been confirmed by both parties.

You’re right to be disappointed, and we apologize.
Although the proof was waived to help meet the rush timeline, our team should have confirmed the final artwork requirements before moving forward. The artwork provided also required additional conversion work before production, and we did not manage or communicate that impact on the rush timeline as well as we should have.
Ultimately, we overpromised and underdelivered. Since the award did not arrive as expected or within the committed timeline, we are issuing a full credit for the order. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and regret that we did not execute this project to our standards.

Everything when wrong
Everything when wrong. Things were not reproofed. Things were pulled into production without my approval. After, I spoke to my Rep, who said, he pulled it out of priduction and asked me for the edits rather than send it back to the proofing department…It then got printed with the original unapproved layout and shipped early, even though,I asked everyday for a reproof. But it doesn’t end there, my president’s award, did not get the same layout, that has been done for a decade. And my other order kept being reproofed without the edits. Finally, due to lack of time, according to Fine, I had to approve with edits to guarantee it would ship on time. My rep, again reassured me that, the edits were made and he would send me the final proof for viewing only for my peace of mind. I did not get a final view and the job, per Fine was shipped early via ground when it was supposed to br shipped 2 day. So, I could have seen a proof; and the order is arriving late on 9/10 (hopefully), rather than 9/09. And my fingers are crossed that the final edits were made, because I do not know. I have another large order for awards, but, may need to find a new vendor.
The one bright spot was Derek. He was very helpful, but, I now understand, the reps don’t have impact on the job and it can all go to hell like this one!

Thank you, JoAnn, for your detailed feedback. We're truly sorry this year's experience did not meet the standard you experienced with your first annual awards order.
After reviewing the timeline, the initial proof was provided on 8/25. We received a detailed list of revision requests on 8/27, followed by additional corrections when the revised proof was approved with further edits end of day on Fri 8/28. Once those final changes were incorporated, the order moved into production that Monday 8/31.
While multiple proof revisions are a normal part of custom award projects, we recognize that the communication throughout this process did not meet your expectations, and for that we apologize. We also upgraded the shipping at our expense in an effort to help meet your event deadline.
We appreciate your kind words about Derek and value the relationship we've begun building with your organization. As this was your second annual order with us, we're especially disappointed we fell short. Your feedback has been reviewed with our service, art, and production teams so we can improve coordination on future projects.

After approving the proof of my custom…
After approving the proof of my custom engraved award, I received a generic off the shelf award in the shipment package. I’ve contacted customer service and am waiting to hear back about when I will receive the correct order.
