Everyone I dealt with at Fireplace and Chimney Authority was great. Bernardo who did my work was very professional and did an excellent job. Diane in the office was thorough and always called me back. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

The tech who came out to repair my grill did a fantastic job of not only getting it working like new but he also cleaned it up to look new!

We have had an issue with our gas fireplace since we moved into our brand new condo unit 8 years ago. Early on, we had another vendor who completed some basic things. It did not solve the issue (gas fireplace kept turning off after a period of time). I became disheartened and in the recent cold winter decided I was going to do everything in my power to get it fixed. I researched what companies in the area were experts in this brand (Empire) and found this company. They came out once, did thorough troubleshooting and cleaning, and thought it was fixed, but it was not. Disheartened again, they had proposed solutions, after consulting directly with the manufacturer. They gave two options, once that would likely solve it and the other additional item to rule out all causes. I did it all, and it is finally resolved.

Admittedly, this wasn't cheap -- two visits (second with a returning discount) and the parts, but it is resolved. It was money well spent and the fact they did the detailed analysis and consulting with manufacturer versus "just trying things" is what set them apart. I would recommend!

Only suggestion is to have an online system that allows you to pay for parts you've ordered -- having to call each time and give a credit card over the phone feels a bit legacy.

Our technician was Chris, and he was great!

From the time I walked into the showroom until the final installation I was assisted by skilled people who I felt were looking out for my best interest. I never felt pressured to choose a more expensive option!
My satisfaction was their goal!

They installed a beautiful fireplace insert in a few hours. It looks and works great. They kept everything clean and we are very happy with the outcome.

The first time I ordered a fireplace door,the manufacturer took forever to finish it....then got lost in transit. Had to order again and I received the door in 2 weeks. The Fireplace and Chimney Authority was always courteous and nice. They refurbished my fireplace and were neat and clean about it. My fireplace looks great...happy with it.

Courteous, prompt, and clean. These guys always do a great job!

Pricey but a thorough cleaning job and well functioning thermostat. We elected to turn off pilot completely for safety. Workers were prompt, respectful, wore booties, and answered my questions. Recommended another type of log set but we have chosen not to do so.

Turned out I only needed my fireplace cleaned. The technician (forgot his name) was very personable and professional. Fireplace is working great!

The gas insert is great, everyone was helpful and the installation folks were pleasant, knew what they were doing, and cleaned up well. A good experience all around.

They were the only ones to get back about doing a minor repair project. They were quick to come out and quote, quick to do the work. There was a minor flaw in the parts they got and they offered to replace it before we even noticed. Seems to be a low bar that not many companies are meeting, these guys were quite satisfactory.
