The physical aspect was very challenging in a positive way and encouraged me to push to my limits. The coaches were very informative and helpful providing new ideas when needed. However, the trial seemed to favour the back line and didn’t provide many opportunities for the forwards to show their skills.

I think the presentation was well ran and the coaching was good. I think maybe the timing and running on schedule was a bit off though

The experience was great, the trial was easy to understand and the presentation was handled very well,also the general signing on process was very easy

coaching staff was really interactive,trainig drill session was high paced and the presentation and organisation in general.

I'd say to improve the trial time to make it longer and more matches instead of drills.

Included high quality training sessions (football based), and a high intensity of football, warm-ups and drills were thorough, standard was a high level, coaches were excellent

I enjoyed the training session we had and the coaches were nice

I loved everything about that trial but due to the location of where the trial took place I have to take 1 star away because it was too far away for me

Was an enjoyable experience and the managing was great really enjoyed it

My experience was great because as a young aspiring rugby player first point gave me the opportunity to possibly go out and play rugby in a country that everyone dreams of visiting.

My experinece with First Point USA has been excellent so far. It is overwhelming as a parent to collect video footage etc and complete the profile but our consultant, Mhairi, was very patient and helpful. We are now ready to get handed over to promotion. This journey would not have even started without First Point USA.

The location was great as we played in Bromley stadium, allowing us to participate in the trial in a high quality manner. Furthermore, the staff was highly professional showing the significance and importance of the trial.

My talent manager Scott Maxwell has been first class. From the beginning of meeting him he has been very professional and approachable. Anything he couldn't answer for me straight away he found out and come back to me very quickly. He has made the start of my First Point scholarship journey easy.

A special thank you to Mhairi, who has been supporting my son Lukas through the first stage of his journey. She has been extremely helpful, friendly and professional, always responding quickly to our questions and clearly explaining what needs to be done and what the next steps are.

As a parent, I really appreciate having someone who is easy to communicate with and who makes the whole process feel much simpler and less stressful.

We are only at the beginning of Lukas’ journey, but our experience so far gives us a lot of confidence in FirstPoint USA and the process ahead.

Laura Lewis was a fabulous help for our daughter who is now on her way to the US for a rowing scholarship. Throughout the process Laura was extremely responsive, realistic and just knows her stuff and what is needed. The prep was excellent for every step as it is confusing without guidance. Our daughter has ended up with such a great opportunity in front of her. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laura and the company to anyone thinking of taking this step.

From helping set up my son’s profile, preparing him for conversations with colleges and even giving him those much-needed pep talks before speaking with coaches, First Point really did cover every base.

And it didn’t stop once he chose his college. The aftercare has been fantastic too, helping with flights, what to expect when arriving in America, and all the little things that you simply don’t think about until you’re actually going through it.

As a parent, having that support and reassurance throughout the whole process has been invaluable. We always felt like we had someone there to turn to.

Excellent experience Jamie Berrisford was fantastic as were all of the staff we dealt with. I can't recommend FirstPoint USA enough. They really have the process down to a science and took the guess work out of the equation. The key aspect for me and my daughter was the warmth and care they displayed from first contact. We weren't a number that they squeezed into their busy schedule. We were a priority and they understood the weight of the chapter we were about to start writing. That caring trait is fairly easy to find in a single person in any organization but to find it consistently across an entire organization is testament to what FirstPoint USA is aiming to acheive. FirstPoint USA massively broadened my view on how to go to an American university and also helped me receive a scholarship to Alfred University. They helped every step of the way and couldn’t have done it without them.

Both Gary and Jamie really helped me getting a great move to a top D2 college and took me through the process of attaining everything I needed to get my visa and other documents needed to travel and play in the US.
