Excellent Customer Service, Transparent Policy
I made a telephone enquiry and the advisor was so helpful and easygoing - even agreed to email me what we discussed - that I felt happy to continue on and buy insurance for my new Powerchair.
It was a simple process, everything is explained well and easy to understand.
The customer service number is prominently shown in case you have questions like I did, which is a good sign in my book. I felt that there was transparency and reassurance, unusual when buying insurance!

Good company to deal with other than…
Good company to deal with other than website is clunky - you cannot view information on policy documents in 'my account' section. Also when trying to take out a new policy as soon as I stated we had a previous claim (for a puncture repair) this meant could not proceed without a phone call. The call advisor stated that it was necessary to read out all the privacy information etc. even though we already have a policy with Fish - it would be better if the website allowed minor claims such as punctures to be entered without having to try to get through on the phone.

sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced with our website and when arranging your new policy. Your comments about not being able to view all policy information in the “My Account” section, and needing to call us after declaring a previous puncture repair claim, are very helpful. We understand how inconvenient it can be to have to phone, especially for something that feels like a minor claim, and then to go through all of the privacy information again when you’re already a customer. We have to follow certain regulatory steps on calls, including reading out privacy information, to make sure we’re protecting your data and providing clear information. That said, your experience shows we need to make things smoother where we can. I’ve passed your feedback on to our digital and customer experience teams so they can look at improving how minor claims and policy documents are handled online.
