This isnt a no deposit scheme, I have had to pay over £1000 before even moving in. Ridiculous. Better off using another "no deposit" scheme or none at all. It has taken 3 months to get to this stage and after paying all these costs, I have still not been able to move in. Appalling.

Hi,
We’re sorry to hear you’re still waiting to move in and understand your frustration with the delays and costs involved.
Our No Deposit option replaces a traditional tenancy deposit (usually 5 weeks rent and a cost of around £865 for your tenancy) with a smaller upfront fee. Your payment to us was £252 including VAT.
If you haven’t moved in yet and would prefer to pay a traditional deposit instead, please let your letting agent know. We’d be happy to refund our fee in full so you can make that switch.

other reviews look fake
Ok I've look through the other reviews and you can tell this company buys it's reviews. So as a real customer I find the service slow and unfair at the start of the process in regards to communicate to the estate agent. And you can post property evidence in the form of Photos and proper statements easily on the Site. Even though you pay that initial set fee, it feels like they’re working for the estate agents from the word go. In hindsight, I wish I paid the £4000 deposit because I feel like I would have more control over the situation. Never mind if everything goes wrong we just go to court. I will post an updated review once everything is complete with more details.

They don’t allow you to pay via credit…
They don’t allow you to pay via credit card if you choose a refundable deposit option but this option is suddenly available if you pay none refundable fee. While customer support was good and helpful, the concept itself feels scammy..

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased our support team was helpful.
We understand why the different payment options raised concerns.
Credit cards are generally not accepted for the refundable deposit option across deposit schemes and providers, with flatfair aligning with those existing services (as we support a registration process which ultimately works with the established deposit schemes).
With regards to our separate deposit-alternative service however for which flatfair is in control, we have opted to allow card payments to faciliate the payment of the smaller non-refundable fee.
