We’re genuinely disappointed by your review, particularly because it contradicts the clear and documented communication we had with you while trying to resolve your issue.

To clarify the facts for anyone reading:

On 5 February at 22:07, you emailed us stating the pots arrived broken. We responded that same evening at 22:14, apologising and asking for your order number to process a solution.

You provided your order number shortly after, and at 22:25, you requested a refund. On 6 February at 12:31, we followed up to clarify if you preferred a refund or replacement, since you had mentioned both in separate emails.

At 12:40, you confirmed you'd like a refund. By 12:58, we replied again, arranging a DHL collection and asking whether someone would be available to hand over the parcel. You confirmed at 14:49 that someone would be present. A return label was sent that same day.

You never completed the return, and later said the recipient had put the arrangement back together and there was no longer a need to return it — thereby cancelling your own refund request.

To now claim in your public review that there was “no offer of replacement” and “no communication” is simply inaccurate.

We made every reasonable effort to resolve this properly:
✅ Immediate replies
✅ Multiple solutions offered (refund or replacement)
✅ Free return shipping label arranged

Unfortunately, none of the offered solutions were completed on your end.

You describe this as a “scam,” yet you confirm the flowers were delivered to the correct address. How can this be a scam if the order was received? A scam implies you never got what you paid for, but in this case, your parcel arrived as expected. So we don’t understand who was scammed.

Regarding your multiple messages sent on a Sunday afternoon, please note our office is closed on Sundays and we cannot respond outside business hours. We replied promptly once we were back in the office and requested your order details, which you have not provided, making it difficult for us to assist further.

Same-day or next-day Sunday deliveries are very challenging, as most florists do not operate on Sundays. While we always aim to deliver on time, occasional delays can happen.

Regarding bouquet size and pricing, our flowers are sold by stem count, professionally arranged. The final bouquet size depends on your order. If you can provide your order number, we will gladly verify what was sent and address any concerns.

We are a luxury florist, not a discount nursery. Our plant pricing begins at £100–£150 per item, depending on size and variety. Our £25 fee is a delivery charge, not a product cost. Nothing in your claims matches the pricing or structure of our store.

If you are genuinely a customer, then you should be able to provide:

An order number

Confirmation email or receipt

A list of what you ordered

So far, we’ve requested this and you’ve failed to respond.

Dear Brett,

We’re disappointed to see this review, especially after the effort we made to accommodate your last-minute order. Despite receiving the order late in the day, we arranged a private driver to ensure timely morning delivery the next day—as per your approval. The delivery was completed on time, and your initial response was that everything “looked great” and your wife was happy.

Over a week later, you contacted us claiming the balloons had deflated. As we explained, this is entirely expected with balloons after several days, particularly helium-filled ones. We even offered a helpful tip: that you can easily reinflate them using a straw—a common and practical solution.

Then, the complaint shifted to the chocolates, which were Ferrero Rocher and Raffaello, globally recognized and high-quality branded products. You ordered 80 chocolates, and later claimed that all of them tasted stale. We find this hard to accept without any supporting evidence. Did you eat all 80 to come to that conclusion—or just a few? Either way, we responded promptly, offering to provide the receipt and expiry dates, which clearly showed the chocolates were within date and freshly purchased.

It's also worth noting that in your public post, you’ve selectively quoted only parts of the conversation, omitting the factual responses we gave and the evidence we offered. That does not reflect an honest or balanced account of the exchange.

To be clear:

You received the items on time.

You acknowledged they looked great.

Complaints came only after a week, with no photos or real evidence.

We provided explanations, receipts, and expiry dates.

You dismissed facts in favor of framing the experience as “terrible,” largely because we wouldn’t offer a free replacement for products you consumed or used over the course of several days.

We believe we acted fairly and with transparency throughout. While we’re sorry you feel dissatisfied, we cannot accept responsibility for inflated claims or unsubstantiated chargeback threats after receiving, using, and enjoying the items.
