We rang and the phone was promptly answered, all questions were quickly dealt with and followed up with emails the same day. We would recommend this local company for their pro-active service. I did try another national provider at the same time and they still haven't got back to me.... speaks volumes, stay local.

Excellent service. Very reliable. Were kind enough to change my contract mid term to save me money. Highly recommend.

Amazing company, on the ball

If you're a small business avoid this company. I never write reviews but I feel I might save someone a lot of time and money here. If you have a small business and more specifically a bar or restaurant, this is not the company for you. Poor service, customer service, fees and they have no issue causing health hazards. It's not important to them.

We are lucky if they collect once a month, they go to the wrong address, they dont follow instructions as to gates etc, end up with rubbish overflowing regularly, rubbish customer service, AVOID!

I used this company for 2+ years I ask myself why! No one communicates with each other they make the invoices up as they go along.
Say they can’t get access to your site when they can and then charge you for a lift that didn’t happen.
Rather than go on and on stay well away.

I cancelled my contract with this company very early and in there agreement too ! I received multiple credits for the above problems that were never shown on any invoices month in month out. I’m now being chased for a bin they have collected but state that it’s stolen 🤣 OMG they have collected it but don’t know they have collected it. I had to take the waste myself to the tip that they were charging me for, It’s shocking and a shambles. If you want stress and a lot of your valuable time taken up chasing this company every month for the above, well that’s up to you.

Awful company and we're stuck with them 2 more years now as missed the window of opportunity to cancel by 9 days! so they have auto-renewed our contract. The drivers come out of allocated hours, won't wait if there is a vehicle in front of them and don't have the common sense just to ask someone to open a gate if it's closed. When they miss a collection they try to charge us excess the next collection. They aren't the cheapest either!

i find the timing with collection should be more flexible ie
closing time 430 so if end of day bins are full no chance for collection next day can take 3 days
i find weight is all ways an issue 1 week busy 1 week not busy 1 week great driver 1 week interesting driver

Claire Dunn is the reason we use Fresh Start Waste Services! Very lucky to have her as our Account Manager. We have been using their services for well over a year and anytime we encounter any problems big or small, Claire is on hand to solve them.

Fresh Start used to open the door and reach in for the bin, this stopped and the bin went unemptied for 3 weeks. I complained, they came on a different day and charged me again. This week i arrived a little late, ran past the bin wagon to the door right in front of the driver, he drove off while i opened the door. I still got charged. This is not my idea of good customer service.

Very reliable collection service

The collection guys ring me just before they arrive from there last collection as we have electric gates and they are not manned until 08.15, and this week called to let me know they had a problem with the truck and would be calling later, great service from the drivers through to the office staff who are very helpful when we book are Christmas collection in and price is quite reasonable too.
