Aegis Travel Insurance Reviews 

Daniel listened to my questions and was able to help me adjust my premium to reflect the actual cost of my trip. He was professional, easy to understand and provided excellent customer service.

The retreat I was going to in Ecuador was cancelled and the trip insurance I signed up for did not cover my cancellation of the trip “for any reason.” The agent I spoke with about filing a claim said I had 14 days after signing up for the travel insurance for this trip to add “for any reason,” which would include the retreat being cancelled. I cannot get reimbursed through this travel insurance for my non-refundable round-trip airline ticket because as my insurance policy for it now stands, the cancellation must be rather fault of the airline, not the retreat organizer. Wish I had known this before buying the insurance. Do not order travel insurance off a website like I did, but rather talk with an insurance agent to be sure you are getting the coverage you need for your particular trip!

I did not have to wait at all for a customer service rep to help me and she answered all my questions. A great experience.

Wow, super EXCELLENT customer service. I had to call to change my insurance over to a different trip. Claire was the wonderful person who assisted me with the change. She was so helpful, patient, kind and super nice to work with. One of the best experiences I've ever had with customer service ANYWHERE!!!!

I struck gold today when Julianna answered my call to AEGIS. She is most wonderful and patient beyond words in taking time to help me purchase a travel policy. She gave succinct explanations to my inquiry and provided astute and insightful advice in added on options which satisfy my needs perfectly.

When I realized I didn't have the detailed travel policy information I called the 800 number. I was easily directed to Customer Service for existing policies. The young lady answered immediately and was able to send me a copy of my insurance details via my email address.
My inquiry was solved within minutes. The customer service was great.

I am just getting a claim started and was misdirected on my first call in. Called a second time and Kianna (sp?) , who took the time to listen to what I needed and then took affirmative action to get me the forms to start my claim. She was polite and professional in her demeanor, throughout the call.

Keyonna was excellent. She was pleasant to speak with. She answered all my questions. One question I asked was rather involved, and she took the time to research it and get me the correct information.
