I've bought both the rp2 and 3+ both are great products!

Product is quite decent from my experience so far, but the shipping times can be quite ridiculous and my customer service experience was pretty poor. I waited for 3.5 weeks for the product to ship out with no response from my email inquiring for any form of update, and after browsing around online I find that there is supposedly a more responsive customer service in the discord. Its already relatively frustrating to have to join a social chat platform to simply get an update on a product purchased weeks ago, but then I find shipping inquires are out of the scope of support provided in the discord. All of this paired with a very strange, passive aggressive behavior from the head admin left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall love the device but I'd rather buy used next time or support a different business with a more pro-consumer infrastructure and a functioning customer support system.

Purchased from them twice, never had a problem

I emailed them couple times with questions about my order and they had quick and helpful responses. I got my package afterwards with no issues or defects. My experience was awesome with them!

Company makes good retro emulation handhelds. That's the short version.

The long version is that they make products that are competitively priced with other handhelds in the market, and they're one of the more reputable brands out there in terms of build quality, price, and their products really do feel like they carry some self respect.

My recommendation is that if you don't want to pre-order their products from their website directly and wait 1 to 3 months for delivery, just wait for their handhelds to land on a 3rd party site like Amazon (they all eventually do) and that way you're protected by Amazon if any issues arise.

That's the one negative about dealing with companies that ship out of China (not necessarily the company's fault here, this applies to ANY company shipping electronic goods from China). It's just that dealing with possible issues and having to ship something back is just more difficult than returning the device to a local Amazon depot because you bought it via them and just letting them handle it.

My one and only handheld I've bought from them so far was the Retroid Pocket 2S, which was great. I did order directly through their site as a pre-order, so I did wait 3~ months first, then another 2 weeks after the device was officially "released". However, my unit eventually arrived and did so as promised. Have had no issues and works as advertised.

Consistently good products, have bought the last 4 models of theirs. Had a hardware issue with one (I broke a trigger button from a drop) and reached out asking to purchase a replacement part directly from them. They shipped out the replacement part free of charge. They have always responded through emails to their customer service to adjust orders before they have shipped as well as have been responsive with their discord.

Quick delivery of great hardware. I'm happy with what I received and it works perfectly.

It’s an awesome product developed by a team that really listens to their customer base and takes care of their fans. They have great engagement with the community and have continued to improve the products with every single release.

I've ordered recently both the 2S and RP4pro models,both arrived fast and In perfect condition so I have zero reason to go below 5 stars, overall fantastic budget handhelds.

Very good devices, quality and service

I have owned several Retroid devices and all have been great. They have excellent cost to performance in retro handheld space. They are not perfect, some Pocket Flips had hindge issues (mine did not) and their latest product has had some reports of trigger issues. However, they have stood behind their products, providing free replacement parts or repair. Shipping can be slow be slow from China, but my last purchase shipped DHL amd arrived in 4 days.

I have ordered and received two devices from Retroid. Both have come with no issues and the staff and community are happy to help.

I've bought 3 products from them and they are always good quality. The shipping is fast and if there is an issue there is good communication from Retroid.

I've been a user of 4 retroid devices 2, 2+,3, and 4 Pro. All with great build quality and easy set up. These devices are definitely the way to go for easy portable emulation.
