⭐ Extremely Disappointing Experience with Go Skippy – Poor Communication and Double Payments

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Go Skippy due to the poor communication regarding my car insurance renewal. I have been charged twice in the same month for my car insurance, despite being told to ignore the situation. This is completely unacceptable and has left me feeling frustrated and as though I have been robbed of my hard-earned money.

What makes this situation even worse is that I received no email or clear communication informing me that two payments would be taken from my account in the same month. I called a week beforehand specifically to clarify whether this would happen. Had I been given the correct information, I could have prepared myself financially and avoided this unnecessary stress.

I have never experienced anything like this with any other car insurance company. Customers should not have to chase for basic information about their own money, especially when it comes to important financial commitments such as car insurance.

The lack of transparency, poor communication and the way this situation has been handled are simply unacceptable. Being told to ignore the issue does not resolve the problem or make the financial impact any less frustrating.

This has completely damaged my trust in Go Skippy. This will be the first and last time I renew my car insurance with this company. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing Go Skippy, as clear communication and transparency about payments should be the bare minimum expected from an insurance provider.

Absolutely disappointing service. I expected much better and will not be returning.

Useless bunch of idiots, tried to take someone off the insurance but what hard work, ended up cancelling it. Never again

Been with them 3 years get a renewal price £20 more a month 100% no claims clean licence went on comoarison site go skippy £34 per month called them well give u £50 said about comparison didnt care

GoSkippy, in their infinite wisdom, sold car insurance to me, then 2 days later cancelled the policy on the grounds of some apparent 'fraudulent activity' on my account.
Bear in mind, I have 16 years No Claims. Yet apparently, there is fraudulent activity against my name (identity fraud no doubt) but instead of investigating this, they have simply cancelled the policy. This means that my car is uninsured and vulnerable to being stolen or removed by the police.
Plus, i must declare with alternative providers that I have had my insurance cancelled thus my quotes are vastly inflated. Thanks GoSkippy for leaving me in this absolute Catch-22 situation!
Customer Services tell me that a response to my issue may take up to 3 working days. A response to my complaint may take up to 8 weeks! And the Manager is not 'customer-facing'.
Absolute Joke of a Company.

The worst of the worst.
I had a little accident. They canceled my insurance without any explanation, and asked me to pay for the whole expenses.

Not really happy with this company

So after messaging trust pilot about go skippy! I have since emailed them as I was told with no response! Since then I have been informed be copart where my car is. That go skippy gave the wrong address and my car is still sat there over a week later of my accident. No car no courtesy car even though I’ve paid premier insurance and it clearly states a company car. Can’t get to work my son needs to go to school all in all a terrible experience with still no resolve or any communication. But the communication when there has been when I’ve called is shocking!

They charged us £57 to change a date which i passed test 40 years ago ad could not remember the exact date, they said its on driving licence which i did not know

they also charged over £260 for the same thing for my daughter who is on the policy, plus £50 administration fee and insurance premium tax. They would not even entertain negotiating.

Be very careful

After using comparison sites Go Skippy definitely came up on top. Easy to set up insurance. The one thing I liked was that everything is included no extra cost for this or that. What you’re quoted includes everything which is so much easier than all the insurers with hidden quotes which sees the price increase. Easy to pay, great communication, instant documents and what is needed further if anything.

Found the whole experience easy and faultless.

I had been looking for insurance for a while and I was very pleased with how competitive and reasonable I got my insurance for. I hope to be with you for the future with these great rates.
