The worst company in 20 years I have had experience with their customer service number does not work they cut off and keep pushing me to go on app! I have a breakdown and been waiting since 2pm until now I am paying for a service at my extra cost for 24hour recovery they want evidence to show that I’m not using them for a recovery for the same issue! Where is this in your clause! I have been insured many times with other companies where breakdown has been used and never once got asked this question I am now going to look into cancelling this fraudulent company!! AA they literally forced to follow me back to my address on a call I made and their agent placed a battery of their own even though my vehicle was drivable and started the AA insisted on follow me back for a charged service the issue was not the battery at all! It was down to a stiffness of clutch otherwise how would I have got back driving my own address and then taken the vehicle to get it checked over the garage said their is no fault they test drove it for 45 minutes with my battery! They want evidence of invoices that the garage checked there was no charge as they said there is no fault! Your policy claims unlimited service but your frauds all of you I pay you for a service! Marshmallow and AA are devious companies!

The most expensive quote ever !! Thought I would get a quote for my Nissan qashqui and was shocked they wanted almost £2500 when everyone else is quoting me between £400 and £500

Regarding the handling of my policy renewal and recent communication with marshmallow team.
When my policy had 45 days remaining, I spoke with one of your representatives on Sunday. During that conversation, I provided all the requested information, including a quote from another company and my policy number. I was then advised to wait two days for an update. However, I did not receive any email or follow-up within that time.
When I contacted your team again to ask about upgrading to Marshmallow Plus, I was informed that updates could only be made when the policy has 35 days remaining. This delay has been very frustrating, as it leaves customers with limited time to make informed decisions and may result in higher renewal costs.
Furthermore, I was recently told that I am not able to renew Marshmallow Plus because some customers have previously purchased plans and then cancelled their policies. I find this explanation unacceptable and not a fair way to treat customers.
Overall, I feel that my concerns have not been taken seriously, and the lack of timely communication has caused unnecessary inconvenience.
If I am offered a better price, it is only reasonable for me to consider upgrading to a better policy. My car is new, and I am close to completing my one-year policy term. At that point, I should have the flexibility to choose a policy that offers better value and coverage.
I would also like to emphasise that I have not cancelled my policy midway. I have continued my policy as agreed, and my intention is simply to explore better options once the current term is completed.I do not believe it is fair to restrict my ability to upgrade based on the actions of other customers. Each case should be considered individually, and as a customer who has fulfilled the policy term, I expect to be treated fairly.

Incorrect credit file reporting
Out of the blue my bank sent me a credit alert to let me know my credit score had decreased by 6 points as Marshmellow had put an early deliquency marker on my account on the 20th April. I have never missed a payment my account has never been in arrears. I contacted ther customer support and its been 1 day and I still have not received a response. Its hard to understand how such a mistake can happen but mistakes do happen. What is fustrating and a high concern is Marshmellows lack of response to such a situation. This should be a high priority for Marshmellow. The only way to contact customer services is through the app which they are not responding too.
Unfair cancellation and unexpected charges after only a few days
I had a very bad experience with Marshmallow and would strongly advise others to be careful.
I purchased a policy and paid £140 upfront. After providing all requested documents, I was told everything was fine and that my policy was active.
However, only a few days later, my policy was suddenly cancelled. The reason given was that an “unauthorised third party” was used to purchase the policy, which is completely incorrect. I personally authorised everything myself.
Despite cancelling the policy themselves, they still applied a cancellation fee and even claimed that I owe additional money. I was only insured for a very short period (around 12–13 days), so it does not make sense that I would owe more instead of receiving a refund.
There was no clear explanation, no proper breakdown of charges, and no evidence provided for their claim.
This experience has been stressful and unfair. It also raises concerns about how easily a policy can be cancelled and how charges are applied without proper justification.
I would recommend others to be very cautious before choosing this company, as this could also affect your insurance record and make future insurance more expensive.

They have reported on my credit report that I have missed payment, which is a massive lie because I have been paying on time every month. They keep ignoring my messages on the app too. I also want to stop my insurance from auto renewing and they have ignored my messages.
