Go Zero Charge Reviews 

We had been looking for an EV charger that we could use for both ourselves and guests staying at our holiday rental. The Go Zero Charger software offers the option to switch from standard home charging to holiday rental mode, giving guest the opportunity to use (and pay for via QR code) the charger also.

It’s a no brainer for us and is working well. Mark and Nikki are very proactive and responsive. The installation was done very smoothly by Luke.

Only mild criticism would be the extra cost of the surge protector (not sure why this isn’t built in ?) and the lack of an instruction booklet (put possibly that’s a little old fashioned of me) Mark and Nikki seem happy to respond to question and do so quickly so any questions we had have been answered.

All in all if you have a holiday let or Airbnb property and are thinking about installing an EV charger this is a strong contender.

Following the virtual survey, to ensure I got the best install possible, Go Zero sent along Simon who was more like Simon the Saviour rather than Simon the Installer! He found a way to get the charger installed at the front of the house despite my meter being at the back of the house and didn’t have to run 100m of cable around the outside wall. Genuis and problem solver extraordinaire!

Before Go Zero Charge entered my life, my EV experience was a mix of careful driving and public charging roulette. Let’s just say my range anxiety was real – like checking my battery every 5 minutes kind of real.

Now with Simon and the Go Zero team, suddenly my driveway feels like a Formula 1 pit stop. The home charger has genuinely transformed my EV journey. No more nervously eyeing the next charging station, praying the charger isn’t broken, in use, or have to download yet another app.

Simon’s installation was quick, very clean, and professional. He explained all the technical stuff really well and demonstrated everything. Now my EV is always ready to go, and I don’t even think about range anxiety anymore. It’s as if Simon installed a dose of confidence right alongside the charger!

If you’re on the fence, take the leap – Simon and Go Zero will sort you out. Trust me, the only thing you’ll regret is not doing it sooner!

Great sales and installation service

Simon just installed my new Optimus Charger and I just have to say what a fantastic service from start to finish.

From taking delivery of the charger to Simon explaining to me how it all works just exceeded my expectations.

The quality of the work that Simon carried out was so good, he took time to make sure I was happy with where the charger would be installed and the cables were all neatly fixed.

Car is now charging as it should do, and the set up in the Go Zero App couldn’t be simpler.

If you’re in the market for an EV charger, I don’t think you will find a better one installed by their own electricians - Highly recommended.

Simon the engineer was great, he even helped me with some furniture that needed moving.
Nothing was too much trouble and all worked was completed and made tidy.

We had great communication from Go Zero as soon as we placed our order and they kept us updated throughout.
Simon installed our charger and he was great. He arrived at the time he said he would and he was professional yet friendly. After the install he demonstrated how the charger worked and explained what to do if there were any issues. Plus he tidied up all the dust and bits, unlike some workmen. An asset to the company!!

I had an excellent experience from buying online, virtual survey and installation. Spencer installation engineer was excellent. He explained everything about the charger, completed the job, contacted me a day before with his expected arrival time and cleaned everything before leaving. He was professional. I am pleased and happy to recommend it this 5 star service.

Customer experience was great from start to the end. The electrician (Spencer) was professional, knowledgeable and it wasn't an easy job but he made look simple. Spencer ran the cables neatly which you couldn't tell.
The EV charger is of a good quality and easy to use. I would highly recommend the company Go Zero Charge.

Great installer, quick and simple, easy to use!

Excellent service from the initial booking, to forwarding the survey online etc with follow up phone calls. Simon arrived bang on time today , seamless install and a great job too. Then spent the time at the end to show me how everything works including the app. Simon done a brilliant job from start to finish. Very happy Thankyou

Whole process was straightforward & efficient from initial online survey to installation. Simon who installed EV charger was particularly helpful & carried out installation with care & attention. Very happy with result.

The fit was delayed as following an online survey I was told I needed an isolation switch. I even sent a picture asking is this it? I was told it wasn't. It was. The device has no lock so anyone can drive up and charge- unlikely admittedly, but still possible. Also the charger is marketed as solar compatible, but I can't find out if it uses the solar when on scheduled charging. The help desk didn't know, but said they would find out and call back. That was more than a week ago. If I had the chance again I don't think I would buy it. Since posting this review, I have been in touch with Go zero, and found that it can be turned off to stop use. And how the Solar charging works. There are no real instructions on the website, a few videos explaining how the charger works. Adverts really. I still wouldn’t recommend purchase.

Simon arrived today to fit my electric car charger on behalf of Go Zero
Simon arrived early after contacting me directly, and immediately explained what was required to fit the said charger. I clearly had under estimated the amount of work to be carried out.
The work was carried out in a very efficient and tidy manner which was reassuring after the explanation of what was required.
Simon then explained how to use the charger and even explained the Go Zero app.

The Go Zero team (Mark) were a great help in providing installation (Paul was excellent) and technical guidance for our charger.
I would recommend Go Zero without hesitation to anyone looking for an EV Charger.

I’m not a reviewer, but here goes.

Just a simple husband looking to buy a charger for a car I probably won’t drive for a bit of peace 🙂.

I shopped around, tried everything from electricians to friends of friends and quite simply, chargers aren’t cheap. We settled on Costco because of their price and returns policy and they stocked the GO Zero Optimus.

It was delivered to our door in advance of the install, from memory we registered and did the easy survey (honestly - very easy), they advised we needed to get the electric meter sorted for a feed and a smart meter for discounted electric, great advice and always there to help. All costs covered by our supplier, so don’t worry.

The Install was effortless, literally no dramas. Came when they said, did what they said they would do, cleaned up and left. I don’t know about you, but for me that’s quite rare.

Here is the really strange bit, not only do Go Zero buy into the customer experience and customer service to get the thing installed, but they actually also want to help you afterwards 😳.

We needed some help after the install, due to a change of wifi suppliers. Lee from Go Zero replied first thing, the morning after the email, called to follow up and sent the information with references to the right pages to help me to resolve. All this without any issue, brush off or making me feel like a burden. In fact, Lee provided his mobile number and said to call if I had any issues, it didn’t matter that I wouldn’t be home until after 5.30. I’m not old, but I’m old enough to remember when service mattered. Lee is incredibly conscientious, great to deal with and an absolute credit to the company. I have complete faith in Go Zero the product is great and the service quite frankly, exceptional. Thanks Lee and Go Zero!!
