After a lot of research and a chat with customer service I decided that Grden was the company I wanted to purchase my bbq equipment from. I received the kamado a few days later as agreed everything was simple to put together out of the box (although very heavy) with the instructions and online installation video. I have been using it more than once a week for a few months now and I’m just so happy with it I really wanted to share my great experience with others! Thank you to the guys at Grden

Quick efficient service, prompt delivery

We bought our Kamado grill (large) nine months ago from GRDEN, and they provided an excellent service; very happy with it and so much fun to cook on. For some time now we have been using this horrible charcoal you buy from garden centres. Always wondered why we got such a bad burn. Been using the British-sourced charcoal from GRDEN and it is a totally different ball game. Lights well and gives a great burn so pleased with it. Ordered a 10Kg bag and it arrived the next day. Highly recommend this company for their service and support and am very pleased to buy superior British-sourced charcoal. Highly recommended and trustworthy company to do business with.

If only my cooking skills were on a par with the service from GRDN! Bought the Kamado+ on 26th Aug and delivered on 1st Sept after the bank holiday. I had a small issue with the handle which was replaced after a quick email to their customer services. All pieces are top quality and well worth the purchase price.

Right lets get started, i have waited for a well over a year to write this review because i wanted to know what i was talking about and its an expensive item.
I opted for the "large all in package" it came with everything! rotisserie, dutch oven ,multi level grill, iron grate and plancha, there were supply issues when i ordered as you would expect in a pandemic but all orders were fulfilled in the end.
When i was looking into a kamado i was told that all ceramics are not equal on a bbq facebook page when i said it seems most of the eggs are made in the same place in china, and the leading brand would be superior, well over a year later and my grill has not even got crazed glaze ,it is under cover and does not get rained on but even so crazing is expected and classed as the "norm" and i haven't got any.
I cook on my grill usually twice a week, ribs, beef or pork belly being the usual, set the vents to achieve 120 and thats where it stays, no burning food, no fluctuations at all, its amazing, every ones a winner .
Fuel use and this is the big selling point, after a 6-8 hour cook shut down the vents this thing goes straight out, the next day two thirds of the charcoal are left in the basket to use again? its so frugal on fuel its cheaper than using your cooker.
Finally its self cleaning! i only have done it once if you light it and take out the center top cap it will fly up to 450+ very fast burning out any residue, i take out all the racks when i did this.
Negative points? well the ash catcher seems a bit pointless i removed mine and just rake out the ash into a metal bucket, also the top vent did used to stick but after cleaning off the paint from the inside its cured that.
I recommend the Grden grill 100% its really upped my cooking game big time and over a year later has not shown any signs of deterioration what so ever which is fantastic, there seems little point in paying over twice as much for the same thing with j o e in the name! how the guarantee pans out i dont think i will ever need to find out.

Stocking up on charcoal but their stock was low, so GRDEN split the order and sent out what they had and followed up with rest the following week, meaning i wasn't caught short at the weekend. They didn't have to do this, but it really was appreciated - great service!
