At the end of October I'm going to Canada for a longer period. After I made this decision I was really exited and to be honest I felt nerves as well. To gain a Working Holiday Visum is not piece of cake but with the help of Joanne Teves the proces became a lot easier. Joanne is very kind and she made me feel less stressful during this process. Applied for Permanent Residency in April 2021 with Great North Visa and I sent them over US$10,000. I have presented them with all the documents that they requested, the last being biometrics on June 13th, 2022. I have not heard from them. I have emailed them and telephoned them numerous times, the response being that someone will contact me within 48 hours. I got desperate and visited the address on their website and letter head to find that no one has heard of them. Is this a scam.....

I paid great north visa 990 USD on 11/08/2022. i emailed them a day later saying that i changed my mind about going to Canada and if it was possible for a refund. A man that works for them emailed me saying that they were only willing to pay me back 200 USD of the 990 USD that i paid them. If this isn't theft then i don't know what is. I have emailed this man on more than one occasion about getting a greater refund but he refuses to do it. Absolute joke. GNV evaluated my C.V and told me which visa i'm eligible for. This is not worth 990 USD. This company stole big big money from me. I have never been defrauded like this in my whole life

I had a really great experience using Great North Visa, my work schedule is very busy and moves me around a lot so having someone do all of the work and update me along the way was very helpful. Ken was fantastic and really friendly.

To put it into a short story and the best way I can explain it I got rejected for a Canada working holiday so in my panic I was told to act quickly and contacted great north visa so they were able to help me but to my luck after an hour of paying £1000 I then got accepted. So of course straight away I told them but after a frustrating week they said I only get 50% back even though they did nothing for me and to use for a future visa which I will never use but this didn't matter to them and I was rather forced into. But what is really annoying me is that 6 weeks on when they are supposed to of paid me back £500 they havent and are not responding to me especially in ways I asked them to for example via email. They then for some reason rang my partner explaining I gave permission (which I didnt) to give her my money I mean what if we had broke up in that time of course someone would accept this money. She definitely isn't like that and of course still together but my point is they made up a lie and yet still haven't given her the money after the 48 hours they said theyd put it in so I'm left feeling scammed out of £1000 for no service and being ignored. Real professional!! Never use them is my advise

As this is now the only way I can contact them after waiting over a week for a call or even a email can you please call me back after 5pm uk time on the number you have for me as you say you know my account is being processed

Ken was in charge of our application and we couldn’t have asked for a more attentive, patient and professional person helping us and our questions were always answered very quickly ! ( considering the time difference between our two countries)

I have already written about how I’ve been defrauded almost $6000 by great North Visa. I ended the program when I realize it was a scam. They offered to pay a refund of $1000 and that I needed to wait 45 working days before the money would be paid to be. The 45 working days just passed last Wednesday,22June 2022 and as I write this review, that have not paid this refund. I have written to one Hannah Foster who is supposed to be at the Human Resource department of Great North Visa and she has written saying the finance department are working on it. I feel like a fool since I’ve tried calling them just to pay the little $1000 out of the $6000 I paid to them. I have reported the issue to the Swedish Police and they are looking into it.I would want this refund paid ASAP because I am really loosing my mind as I cannot fathom how people could be this cruel in defrauding others. Be very careful because these are professional fraudsters.

Had an introductory call about the entire immigration process with Blake who was very warm and welcoming and allowed me time to have discussions with my partner. She did not start demanding money like other consultancy firms.

It was fun chatting with the Consultant. Such a friendly gentleman who is a delight to chat with.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Despite a global pandemic they managed everything excellently and assisted me with all my needs and questions. I am beyond happy I will be able to come to Canada thanks to Great North Visa.

During the process, everyone at Great North Visa was really helpful. They communicated with me very often and were making sure everything was ok. Whenever I had questions, I could count on the team to answer it very quickly.

I could not recommend great north visa enough!! Despite doing the process throughout Covid-19 times and feeling very uncertain, the wonderful Ken was always at the end of the phone to to reassure me there was a light at the end of the Tunnel. The process for me was long ( because of Covid-19) but you have to trust the process. Great North Visa do all the work which suited me perfect as I am a workaholic and would of struggled fo allocate the time if I were to do the process alone, Ken would send me on documents I needed to complete which saved me a lot of stress. I am headed to Vancouver in July, I would not be only for Ken in Great North Visa! When I started my research the very first thing I did was read reviews on different visa company’s, naturally as a human being you are going to be weary of scams, the reviews on great north visa stood out to me. Ken was always so positive and upbeat and always at the end of the phone as at times I was very anxious about the status of my visa application due to Covid -19. Thanks Ken and thanks great Northa visa my days left in Ireland are numbered 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Looking into getting a working visa I found this company online and from day one it has been a pleasant and relaxed process. They made it very easy and took the pressure off. Very clear since the start. Shoutout to Ken being there the whole way.

We are extremely disappointed with the lack of service and communication from GNV. My partner and I have spent US$17,680 since November 2020 and got absolutely nowhere. They offered us a refund of only US$1050 and ''free service'' for another program - but based on our experience - this offer was rejected. We are highly disappointed with their unprofessional behaviour, lack of empathy and support, but mostly the fact that they have defrauded us from our hard-earned savings. They have wasted 18 months of our valuable time and kept us hoping for a positive outcome, while milking us for as much money they could.

Ken and Abe were a huge help to me during the entire application process. They were very responsive, informative and friendly throughout the process which was much appreciated and they were always at the end of the phone/email to answer any questions or concerns I had. This company went above my expectations, Ken especially made everything easy to understand throughout the entire process. Not only did he answer my millions of questions but was also very friendly over the phone when going over next steps. I would highly recommend great north visa for the lovely experience I had.

just letting you know I have reported you and your company. I believe you have scammed me out of all my money of $3500. I don’t believe it takes all the time it has taken you. I have read other reviews and you have managed to scam them out of more money. I genuinely believe you were trying to scam me out of more money as I got a call half way through the process to pay another $1500. Luckily I noticed which I thought was very unprofessional. All the emails you sent throughout were catching up on money you wanted from me. After doing the application myself the only way my application would end up back in the pool would be if you declined the application or you lied. You did not even send me the form to fill in for the Family CIC form. $400 an hour is very unrealistic. The first 15 minutes on the phone with you and you demand $1500 otherwise my ‘slot will be taken’ to go to Canada which was also a lie. You won’t give me any money back or even a partial refund which I find disgusting. This cost does not even cover insurance or flights. You communicated enough to keep me strung along and could not even give me my Gkey login details to see where my application was. This is complete fraud.

My name is Calvin Jupin and I would like to share my overall experience with Great North Visa.

I have had a good experience with Great North Visa in the sense of their service and their guidance throughout my process of obtaining my student visa successfully. They were willing to answer all my questions to their best of their knowledge and responded to my emails in an adequate timeframe, even contacting me when I requested them to.

There were times that I was a bit frustrated and felt that this was a bit of a hoax, however I contacted a few of the RCIC representatives to ensure that this was all legitimate and they confirmed that they have done business with them on a contact referral basis. (I have emails to prove and you can search the people on the RCIC website for their license number and contact information too)

I would say I have not had a pleasant experience with my account manager but I had a great experience with the immigration team and contact services team, where they always answered my calls, responded to my emails guided me through the process. (Shout out to Abe Solomon and Simon Quinn for their help, really appreciated your service).

I have also had an experience with the refund process. There was a mistake on their end, however they did not take long to fix and offer a proper refund. The refund did take its time to get paid but it was paid and eventually I felt more relieved to see that you will get your money, but you have to put in the effort to ensure it.

I do agree that maybe the payment process could be done a bit differently and is a bit expensive. But I do understand that, that is why they do this, because one will start the process and eventually bail out and then all the work was done for nothing. That is why, if you do not feel comfortable paying then rather leave it. But I can assure you that you will find that this is the way it is basically done everywhere. Payment first, then Service.

I do believe you could do everything on your own and that you do not need representatives or agencies to help you. But if it were not for them, I would have probably not received my study visa or even gotten a passport request. They do not do much for what you pay like arranging flights and job offers and colleges but they do guide you in what to do, where to go, provide sites and help with studying material for IELTS and arranging the RCIC representative, which I do believe that is where their service fee goes to.

I do want to emphasize that Great North Visa does not guarantee you a visa approval or a faster way to immigrate to Canada... and that to me, showed that they were professionals and did not act like scammers.

Overall I do believe that some people have had issues with them and that they were not happy with their service or their prices. My advice to you, is that Great North Visa helps quite a few people and only the ones that have had a bad experience with them write bad reviews and the ones that had an okay experience or were satisfied with their service do not write reviews and therefore they look like a poor company to do business with.

Basically this is my experience. 13 months, $5k later we have been waiting and they completely blank you and communicate just enough to keep you strung along. They have never been able to produce an application number and looking into them the immigration consultants are not even aware of who they are! Clearly there this something illegitimate about this business as we finally got word from the Canadian immigration and they have found NO record of our application. Early in the process they sent a fake receipt which I verified as such, more recently they have told me there isn't a receipt they received. Buyer beware!
