I visited The Ruislip Iceland on Monday 9th Feb. At the side of the store is a public carpark but also Icelands own carpark run by a third party even though all signs say ICELAND carpark. I went in an evening when it was dark 17.58pm. Upon trying g to park the car it was littered with several UBER mopeds and several men drivers congregating in the carpark. This hindered car parking, couldn’t get a shopping trolley due to all the mopeds in front of them yet alone bringing a trolley full of shopping after visiting the store and using the adjacent alleyway. I have emailed ICELAND and they have said the carpark is fun by a third party and I need to contact the operator. It’s ICELANDS carpark! Do much for customer service and customer safety! Maybe everyone should shop elsewhere! Photos attached to verify review!

Awful online delivery service.
Delivery slot 5pm-7pm, nothing turned up. No communication either as to why this happened.
Phoned customer service the next day as they close at 6pm, which is another down fall. The shop wasn't answering.
In the end I went down to the shop who said the "wifi was down" so nothing was packed. I did not believe this. So then have to phone customer support again for a refund ... Awful service from start to finish. This was my first time ordering and I will not order or shop here again!!

Bought eggs from Blaby store om 27th, when I get home iInotice they are sell by 25th on box,no wonder staff ask if you want the receipt,so you cannot take them back,at least they are use by 01/02 ,but I cannot use 10 eggs that quick.

I bought the sausage and mash with gravy, I’ve never had such bitter nasty gravy or tasteless sausages in my life.
Left me hungry,

Went to get a big shop today in east kilbride shopping centre only to find tills were closed and there was only 2 self checkouts which are only good if you're in for a little amount. Get people back on tills.

Received a fresh chicken yesterday that was out of date by two days, Every e-mail was returned as "Undeliverable". Eventually e-mailed head office. Half way through today and no reply. I tried phoning my local store. No-one answered. Eventually got through to head office, explained what had happened and expressed my concerns that if this had been received and eaten by an elderly person or someone with diminished eyesight, the consequences could have been catastrophic. "Oh I know, I do apologise" was the reply. "I'll refund your money straight away". No concern whatsoever that this carelessness could have killed someone. won't be shopping there again.

I had a chicken Vindaloo from Iceland, it was appropriately hot and the meat was good. I think it needed to be a little more tomatoey.

Delivery now bagless so won't be doing any more delivery shopping at iceland will now go elsewhere stupid idea.

I have been with Iceland for the last 3 years or so and always received pretty good service. Their food range is limited but very good and they have always delivered on time and overall in the past have been very helpful if one or two items were missing.
Today I waited in for my order and when it arrived to my dismay I found that over half of the order was missing. The number I had for my local store in Brighton was not picking up and so I had to ring the head offfice number and then go through a long procedure providing all my details and details of every item I had not received. I was also given another number for my local store which I then rang. The response from my local store was less than helpful. I was told that the missing items were not in the delivery van and therefore they could not be delivered to me. Anyway the driver had now gone home. The strong inference from the manager I spoke to was that she was not really interested and that because she could not locate the groceries missing from my order, I was somehow at fault.
Apparently it was too late for them to replace the missing items and a replacement would/might? be sent to me tomorrow. The managers whole tone was unhelpful and I resent the implication that I had received the groceries because she could not find them. There was also no real apology for such poor service.
I now need to head round in the rain to the local Coop to purchase replacements for some of the essential items not received including cat food for my moggy.
I don't know what will happen tomorrow, whether I will get the items I have already paid for or not.
We shall have to see. But what I have learnt is that Iceland are great when nothing goes wrong. But when it does, and we are talking over £60 worth of groceries not delivered, you have a problem.

Had my online order (294614802) delivered on Wednesday 7th January 2026. Ordered three loaves of bread which were out of stock and no substitutions given. There were quite a few very short dates and one use-by was 2 days out of date. Takes ages to get through to customer services. The first one I spoke to didn’t seem to care and put the phone down on me. The next one promised me a call back from the store manager within 2 hours, didn’t happen. Spoke to 3 different people and got three different answers as to why my bread was not substituted. Nobody seemed that bothered that they were delivering items out of date which I find disgraceful. Have asked Iceland to cancel my account as I will not be using them again.

Bought a on line order. Two days later went to make a sandwich and saw ham was out of date. I wrote to them to say that this was dissappointing. Two days later I received an e mail saying could I send them pictures of the packaging etc. Did not keep packaging, feel bad that they saw I had an order but still questioned the meat, they could see on line I had purchased, Such a lot of trouble to get £2.00 back, told them not to bother. If you have fresh items delivered make the poor driver wait while you check dates, so disapponting,

I visited the iceland store in dragonville Durham two years ago and found a box if ice lollies with ice creaminside that had defrosted so the box had gone all soggy and then be refrozen and sitting in there fridge.I have just visted there dragonville Durham store and purchased two santa chocolate things and a celebrations tub.When I got home I realised they had charged me full price for the santa chocolate things and the celebrations tasted wrong and had a strange texture some with a fine white coating on them.I think they had been stored at nearley freezing temperature or exposed to something.I will never buy chocolate from Iceland at the Dragonville depot again.

Baught Iceland duck spring rolls but I have gotten food poisoning them Iceland has changed the recipe because they taste majorly different this is annoying as I loved the old spring rolls Iceland has a bad habit of changing the good things they sell and they were always better off not being changed morel I am sick vomiting because of this .

In the past my deliveries have been horrendous, last delivery driver, did bring to my third floor flat, but said he wouldn't do it any more, I said the I won't buy from Iceland again he just shrugged his shoulders and laughed that was a couple of months ago. So I thought to give them another chance, I placed order online last night for del between 10 and 12 it is now 1oclock, I phoned helpline and was told should arrive by 2pm..it shows delivered on my online account, what's going on? They have in the past just left outside the front door of my flats, on the pavement .. This is the last time. UPDATE.. arrived at 2. 30pm, driver was lovely no problems... Never had an explanation or apology from Iceland

For the first Time I bought some luxurious ready meals. Out of the nine I bought three were exceptional. Three were well below standard even for a basic meal.
One in particular was steak and mash with added cheese. The mash and gravy was ok but the diced meat was un chewable along the veg you could just manage.
After trying having eaten the mash and gravy the rest of the meal went in the bin. Cooked exactly as instructed, out of the meat I managed to chew two pieces befor spitting it out. The rest which are duplicated meals have now gone into the bin.
DON`T BUY its not worth the cooking, Graham.

I am not happy without bag shopping. I ordered delivery last night but all items were without bag. It is not good and I am not happy to see my all food shopping on the foot place.It is request provide items with shopping bags. Thanks

Iceland has, I found, some of the best drivers in the business bar none. However my recent experiences with their 'customer services', about a promo code which didn't work, when they just went silent means I no longer use them, after many years.

Ordered a delivery was very late again and substitutes not good won't be using them again

Today, at about 18:48, I went to make some purchases and i saw some items at reduced price. On getting home, I discovered I was charged £2.80 rather than reduced priced of 0.84p this is over 150% higher. Most disappointing was no apology from the staff, this shows that it was a delibrate action. Its is quite upsetting, discriminating.
