This is just an FYI - keep your tracking receipt. They will not return your money until you call and give them a tracking number.

Just received the shoes in the mail. They came flattened and are nothing like the online photos. flimsey light weight cloth with absolutely no support. They may be okay to wear on a beach but that's about it. A $19 pair of flip flops would be better quality. This is really a big ripoff so buyer beware

Comfortable shoe but only lasted 4 months when the side ripped out where it connects to the rubber sole. Contacted customer support and provided a photo and they offer nothing except a 30% discount for purchasing another pair. Overall waste of time and money for very poor quality shoes. Be very weary of any company that offers a 30 - 90 day warranty because that's probably exactly what you will get before it turns to garbage.

I have worn my funny looking black with white striped Grounded Footwear shoes most days since I bought them. They have a sole that looks like toes (people at the gym have commented to me while doing i'm doing various exercises where I lift my feet off the floor).
Once on, I WAS SOLD IMMEDIATELY!!! I loved the way they felt, especially because I have neuropathy in my feet. So to have a better feel of the ground is a welcome change. Theybfeel better than being barefoot. I've told a lot of people and have started seeing others wearing them too. These shoes lasted about a year before I realized I had some wear at the back of the shoe. The sole didn't wear out, but I developed a little hole where the fabric of the shoe meets the rubber of the heel, so I recently purchased another pair. I just wore that new pair of Grounded Footwear on a 5 day trip to NYC during which I walked about 30 miles (yes 30 miles) in my brand new Grounded Footwear shoes!!! They were comfortable, no back or knee issues!!! I have 5 pair of Hokas (1 brand new). I took the new pair to NYC as well. In fact, I wore the Hokas on the plane (at the urging of my husband). By the time I had taken long walks in the airport I knew my Hokas we no longer my friends. I hadn't worn them since I bought my Grounded Footwear. My knees bothered me when I had to change planes and walk a long distance. I actually couldn't wait to get back into my Grounded Footwear. I also wonder if Grounded Footwear shoes aren't better for your bones when walking. I have osteoporosis and when I was wearing Hokas I questioned whether the shoe was absorbing all the force generated by walking that my bones might actually benefit from. Now I feel my foot strike the ground, but in a good way. I hope my bones benefit from these shoes too!!!

I should have known that the fact that you can't write a review on their site - i.e. that they only post positive reviews - that I shouldn't buy them. They came apart within a couple weeks. The warranty is only if you've never worn them so basically useless. They are truly barefoot in that you might as well not wear anything at all. My feet were killing me after an hour walk. This after years of wearing another barefoot product from New Balance that finally wore out. Other barefoot shoes have at least some kind of traction or buffer between you and the sidewalk. Absolutely the flimsiest shoes I've ever seen. Customer service is awful, they refused to even entertain a return because I wore them for an hour.

I'm learning to really research and item before purchasing. In a do-over I would not buy these shoes. I did not read carefully. Yes they are called Grounded footwear. I thought that they would come with copper grounding studs. No they don't. I wore them outside and started to get a blister. I called customer service. They said that this is not a reason to return them. Also I would need to pay return shipping. So after weighing my options I kept them. I will never buy from this company again. Very disappointed. I'll make it work for the blister. Oh, when I called to return them they immediately said that they would give me an additional 30% off. I think that these shoes cost $1.00 to make.

These shoes are ugly and poorly made. Additionally the company is non responsive to phone calls. No email address is available. Website is difficult to navigate and it seems impossible to return items. Definitely a scam.

I returned 2 pairs of shoes and never received my refunded. I sent them my tracking number to show that myreturn wS received but I have yet to refunded. My order #1458965 was received on 5/21/2026 yet no refund. The shoes were new worn but they still have not made my refund. Do not trust this company it is a scam operation.

The shoes were comfortable but within a couple of months they started falling apart. Very poor quality. Don’t bother writing the company because they have a standard reply. Since it’s been over 30 days the shoes can’t be returned, SORRY!

THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING FROM GROUNDED.
Lots of red flags and the whole thing seems untrustworthy. I seem to be sharing a lot of experiences other commenters have shared below

1) Shoes are cheap and provide no arch support. Poor quality.
2) Only 1 pair of shoes (the $29.99 add-on) arrived despite the pick list showing both pairs.
3) Like other comments I read below, "Drake" offered 30% off, then 50% off my shoe(s)/order right away. When I asked how the shoes would fit any better with a discount, he had no answer.
4) My screenshot of my order shows I paid $99.98 for shoes and $5.50 S&H, yet my refund will only be $104.98... "Drake claims my S&H is only $5.00 and something about tax on S&H...??
5) While some info I saw said I needed a Return Authorization #, I spent 2.5hrs looking for a portal or how to obtain it. Eventually, email from Grounded says i don't need one.
6) Initial chatbot/customer service will encourage a phone call to resolve your issue...but only if you pay a refundable $5.00 to a third party to actually speak to a person. I went back to the chatbot a second time to tell them i wanted to speak to a real person & not have to pay any money to do so and finally got an email from Grounded. We'll see if i ever see a refund...

Cheap crap - poorly made shoes that you can buy elsewhere for $10. I wanted to return them but there is no customer service.

The phone number on the website is fake and immediately disconnects. The address seems to be fake too. Called the company listed at the suite number at the listed address. Totally different company.

Buyer beware! Shoes ordered June 10 received shipping notice 6-11. Tracking number invalid never showing any movement. Was told shoes shipped from Akron, OH warehouse. Credit card said they were coming from Canada. Spoke with grounded and their billing co multiple times. Supposed to get refund. As of July 1 no refund yet and tracking still indicates invalid.
Received refund 7-2. Package was NOT Delivered.

I requested a refund because the size was too small. I had a prompt reply from the company and I covered the cost to return.

I found these shoes via a YouTube ad claiming that they are grounding shoes with "full-sole grounding technology" that will keep you connected with Earth's natural energy -for reference, the ad landed at [experiencegroundedfootwear dot com]

I emailed the company to ask about these claims and the response included this admission: "Grounded Footwear is not an electrical grounding shoe. Our name refers to natural movement, biomechanics, and feeling physically connected to the ground, not electrical conductivity or earthing technology."

Through that email thread, I said that these claims need to be changed because they were untrue, and the rep (whom I suspect to be an AI tool) replied: "You're absolutely right, and I appreciate you holding us accountable. I have already escalated your feedback to our marketing team to review the video and landing page for accuracy. Claims that are misleading or deceptive are not acceptable, and I'm sorry that you experienced that."

9 days later and that land page still is full of untrue claims...

Bottom line - don't buy these shoes if you want true grounding / Earthing shoes! They will NOT ground you!

I received three pairs today. They look and feel like water shows. I have sciatica pain and lower back pain. Within 10 minutes of wearing my new shoes, the pain started. Now my feet are killing me and I feel worse then before I received them. They have a thin soal and felt like walking in a hard floor with no support. I feel this was a bogus add I saw fir the shoes. They are rubber. I want to cut into the soal to see if there is copper but I doubt it. Not impressed and fingers crossed they will allow me to return them. Not happy at all!

I ordered shoes after a Grounded Footwear add on YouTube claiming the shoes 'ground' and showed other 'grounding' shoes with copper disc as weak in comparison(I have a pair and recognized them). When I got them they are all rubber, I called in and wrote. They totally denied the grounding ability - I have videoed their add and still have it - they lied in the add, but they would not accept responsibility and I told me I have to wait for return info and I had to pay postage to return and get a refund, even though their 'add' was untrue.

The shoes arrived 11 days after I ordered.
When I opened the package there was an unpleasant strong chemical smell. I had to leave them outside for a week for them to finish off-gassing! I then tried them on and they were very uncomfortable because they are so thin that you can feel the pattern of the sole that has holes in them. I checked their Return Policy and it states that they give a “full return” if you pay the cost of the return shipping.
I paid $185.31 for three pair which included $9.99 for shipping. They did not give me a full refund. They did not refund the $9.99 charged for shipping. So, I ended up paying a total of $26.44 just to try on some very stinky and painfully uncomfortable shoes!

These shoes are a game changer for the over 60 crowd. I have had many of the bulky double cushioned etc. etc. walking shoes advertised They actually make you more likely to lose your balance these shoes do what their name says they keep you grounded. It takes a minute to get used to the difference in your gait, but after a bit, you’ll find your back issues are less your knee issues are less and your calve muscles are stronger. Don’t hesitate I grabbed 2 pair. I forgot to add my balance is markedly improved after 5 months and that customer service is beyond good !

To be honest I don’t know how these can be called shoes. They are like a pool shoe. These shoes claim to help in many ways. After receiving them there is no way they can do anything they claim. They are horrible, don’t waste your money. They offered me a 30% refund and I took it but it should have been more like 75% . With that being said the best part of this experience was their customer service people. . I would like to address once again the incredible customer service team this company has. I believe they have set standards that not another company could even come close to. I dealt with 2 people yesterday and these guys were so polite and willing to resolve issues in the most respectful way . They were amazing. Thank you guys !!
