Smooth transaction and super helpful staff. Received a good price for my unwanted gold.

I have purchased two luxury watches in the past 12 months from H&T. On both occasions I received good communication and service, great pricing taking advantage of sale, and both watches were as described or better in excellent condition. Packaging for transport also of a high standard. I realise there will always be negative feedback, but I can only report a first class experience with H&T on two separate occasions. Well done H&T team.

They acknowledge complaints and say they have 8 weeks to reply, this has now passed but still no reply

Update…..My initial issues around authenticity were fully addressed and the item proved to be great value and fully serviced etc. I have now reviewed and edited once the matter was resolved to address the action taken by the company

Visited the Oldham store on Saturday and purchased limited edition Omega Planet Ocean watch. Although happy with the price and condition of the watch the aftersales service has been a nightmare and would off this experience not revisit for further purchase.
I have now been waiting over 2 days for a certificate of authenticity for the watch which I was promised at the time and which had still not arrived despite numerous calls to both the store and head office. To say I am disappointed is an understatement and the hassle has taken away the enjoyment of the purchase due to a lack of ownership to resolve my issue.
I have again rang the store today to be told they have no manager in, they can’t contact head office by phone and have no way of escalation. I managed to find a phone number in seconds and spoke to head office despite the fact this was also still a waste of time as no one from complaints has had the decency to return my call or address my issue.
Would not recommend based on customer service once they’ve had your cash.

Bolton staff are fantastic. Sue the manager is brilliant and will go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. Julie and Mercedes on sales are top tier too. I bought and sold watches there and have another one to sell soon. H&T will be my go to for pawnbroking

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Kimberley explained the process and checked to ensure I was comfortable throughout as it was my first visit. The shop was clean and well maintained also and I received a price i was happy with for my transaction

Last 3/4 years I bought so many gold from southhall branch..That shop staff including female manager oh my god their way of looking and talking like me and my husband r going to steal or something..no smiling nothing…but end we purchased 4 thousands pound gold !!!they need well customer service training…

It was my first experience selling unwanted jewellery and my first visit to this shop. I found the counter staff to be very polite and they explained the procedure to reassure me which, made me feel confident that I was doing the right thing at the time.

WARNING: Do not trust this store's "expert authentication." I bought a £780 Omega Seamaster Professional from them, only to find out later during an independent inspection that the internal movement had been replaced with a non-original ETA 255 part. They failed to disclose this. I sent them a formal complaint with photographic evidence under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and they have completely ignored me for over two weeks. Avoid them, or get your purchases independently checked immediately.

Still after 7 weeks waiting to hear from complaints team and almost 6 hours wasted on phone getting passed around and called a liar told various times i will be called back by a manager still not resolved .dont sell watches to this company after 6 months they start sending letters saying you owe them money then you spend hours on the phone trying to resolve nothing will happen until you get outside help stressfull experience still not resolved. I read the message underneath here and tried to contact again not happening that message is just to make it look like they care .check the other negative reviews they all have the same generic message .

I visited the Northampton Abington branch and the manager was very rude there was a service that I have used before with no issues but this time she didn’t want to hear or help me with my issue I’ve been using H&T from 2003 and have spent a lot of money paying in interest over the years

Bought a half sovereign ring on the 5th of may have a tracking number ( 1597 6977 455 2641 ) DPD are supposed to be delivering check there website they don’t have it yet, I have bought items of jewellery in the past and had sub standard delivery from yourself, I want to cancel this order and get a refund, tried to phone but get answer machine, once’s this matter is resolved i will be removing my details and bank details from your website and buying from a more professional outlets.

I went into the Macclesfield branch this morning, I was extremely pleased and surprised with the amount I was offered for my few pieces of gold jewellery. The young lady who served me was so helpful, polite and professional. I definitely recommend visiting H&T Macclesfield.
