Hear and Play Music Reviews

"The Perfect Piano Class!" The instructors methods of teaching are excellent. They don't move on to the next level until everyone understands. They welcome questions & comments. They have given us the tools we need to practice & reminds us to do the same. They are professional, compassionate & interesting in the students' learning. If we miss a lesson, we are encouraged to go in & review it & ask questions if need be. I am receiving information that I've been looking for for a long time. Thanks to all the instructors & the founder of GMTC, Jermaine Gibbs! 8/10/26 Virginia Hayward

The coaches are so patient and professional. I do not feel uncomfortable asking questions when I don't understand; fellow classmates are so supportive and helpful as well.

One thing that I am getting accustomed to is the various messages via WhatsApp. They can be quite overwhelming. As a beginner, I had to remove myself from some groups until I become more familiar with the process

The content was useful. Easy and fun to follow.

The coaches are great!! The months I've spent interacting with coaches and other staff have made me feel that they are really invested in my success. The Hear and Play investment I have made in myself is well worth my time and effort.

Very simple and smooth

Hear and Play music is an amazing program. I first purchased Gospel Keys on the CDs to learn to play by ear and use fill-ins to enhance my reading music for hymn songs. I went through Gospel Keys 101 and to my surprise found that it really works. Prior to the program, I had been told that you have to be born with the gift to play by ear.
I joined the VIP Coaching program after my Mother passed away in 2023 to fill a void and do something I had always wanted to do. This program has been so fulfilling. Every class I attend I learn something new or pick up something I did not catch before. The director is absolutely amazing, and all the coaches are excellant as well.
I had music theory 101 & 102 in college years ago and l have not run across Dr. Onye's teaching style with mental links, the various patterns, techniques, and the level of music theory we are learning. This program is a gold mind in what one can achieve to serve the Lord through music and assist others in their growth process along the way. I highly recommend this program. You will definitely learn in this program. The GMTC is great as well.

The folks at Hear and Play are very helpful. Their customer service is first rate. The program offered is just what I need and the cost is comparable to other programs. However, I think they surpass other programs in what they offer. This is a quality program. Regardless your level, you are sure to learn more.

The content is very thorough and inviting. Love that the information is in bite size pieces, for easy consumption. Works for the young and the young at heart!

I love hear and play. The instructors and the instruction courses have helped me to grow exponentially. Thank You!

How they break down the knowledge where you can really understand even for the beginners.

it was a review

My training coach, Coach Brittney, is doing a great job teaching us students. She is patient and thorough.

The best teachers!!!! You are guaranteed to learn to play. But you must practice everyday

The instructors for Hear & Play are very profesional and patient.

It is uplifting, energetic, and fun. Helpful hints all along, various opportunities of different modes with sincere encouragement.

Amazing Coaches, I am in Coach Brittney's class for most of my training. She is an excellent coach. She explains with clarity and patience. I have also experienced training from Coach Joanna, Coach Tyler, Coach Lady Sherry, Coach Karen, and of course Coach Dr. O (yeah!!!).
