I've learned in the past few months more than I was taught during my high school music lessons. My hearing has gotten better, and I'm still working on my scales. Miss Brittney, makes learning fun, and easy. I especially enjoy the numbers system.

I was happy after leaving the zoom meeting that I was able to play 7 songs. During my next choir rehearsal I will show the director what I can do and hopefully play the following Sunday using the 1564.

Very detailed and easy to understand

Simple, clear instructions with lots of feedback and patience

The Hear and Play VIP program has helped me improve my piano playing skills by teaching me multiple techniques to make hymns and other worship songs sound richer and more colorful in composition. I've learned how scales and chords work together to create beautiful sounds and how easy it is to transpose songs to other keys once I understood the numbering system for chord progressions. I've learned about passing chords and how to modulate to another key within the same song. Tritone substitutions and modes used to be unsolved mysteries to me and now I understand them much better and how they can be used effectively. There are so many concepts (eg. dominant, secondary dominant, 2-5-1 movements, chord couples, backtracking, walk-ups, etc.) that even if I had used them, I had no idea what they were called and why they worked. One of the best qualities of this program is that all the instructors and coaches are knowledgeable and patient with each student to ensure that no one feels left behind. Replay videos are available for reviewing concepts or catching up if a session is missed. Also, opportunities are given for students to demonstrate what they've learned via active playing in class, video submissions, guided practice sessions, peer-to-peer sessions, monthly mini-recitals, and semi-annual recitals. Cycles are repeated every 12 weeks to reinforce or help students grasp more concepts perhaps the second time around. Coaches are available for individual assistance, as needed. This is by far the best music program that I have encountered.

The support and patience from the coaches is top tier! The flexibility the replays offer: being able to replay classes missed is awesome too. I love the live classes but unfortunately, I have a very busy schedule so I’m often unable to catch them in real time.
Really enjoyed my time with the Hear and Play family 😊

Hear and Play is just like any other learning online platform . It is NOT a platform you’re going to learn anything quickly. There are many classes to attend on the platform. The extracurricular classes don’t help unless you can ask questions because you come in lost and everyone styles of teaching is different. All teachers do not answer questions. I am not sure I would even understand the answer if they all did answer my questions.I am strictly here because I got a word from the Lord that I would get my breakthrough here but it is DEFINITELY nothing they did personally. GIVE GOD THE GLORY BECAUSE HE IS THE REASON FOR MY SEASON.

Hearandplay is the best program I have come across. Hearandplay is unique and Very anointed . Hearandplay is your home away from home. Filled with Brotherly Love every one is always willing to help no left behind I started in January of this years knowing nothing at all and thanks the coaches I now know my scales chords learning songs and actually playing piano understanding the connections and patterns I will for ever be great full and feel so Blessed. Thank you Hearandplay I’ll forever be part you you!

Excellent for learning how to play the piano by ear. Excellent customer service and response.

It was the best experience ever! A lot of work, but it paid off. The Coaches were very supportive and helpful. I enjoyed the preparation and count down for the days. I was very impressed by the way it was prioritized. It will forever remain in my memory.

Everything is great! I'm having a problem connecting when I'm at home in a rural area. Brittainy is a wonderful instructor!

I liked and enjoyed the way... I think his name is Tyler (the vanilla brother) taught the music class, if I continue the classes I would love to have him be my teacher. All you guys are good teachers, I just liked his style of teaching.

I’ve always felt like there was something I was missing. I took classical piano. I never understood the chords. But I was able to teach a guitar player to play the pianos because he understood the chords. But he couldn’t explain it to me. Thanks Coach Tyler.

Awesome! Fun and enjoyable, great learning experiences.

Y'all are good teachers and I would recommend ya to others

The love and respect everyone shows, the prayers, and the willingness to show you how to work through learning the play. Over the years, I never had the time due to circumstances out of my control. Knowing Mr. Jermaine created a platform I feel will always be here is a blessing to my heart. I pray God continues to bless him and all the coaches with the ability to continue to help people. This is a ministry, and at this time, with the loss of my mother and brother within the last six months, I believe I will need to be here to make it through this difficult time. Thank you again GMTC.
