Small companies that make you feel like they care more about you than the sale they made are to be rewarded. Jonathan and Danielle from Helicon have made me feel part of an extended family since my purchase of my Lichen Master 62. So when I saw a matching hoodie on the site I had to have it. Kind of my way of saying thanks. I ordered it and received it in Colorado way before I expected to, What I hadn’t realized was how much I’d love it after getting it. Perfect fit and that soft cozy vibe that will be hard to wait until the cooler days of fall to wear. Basically, great people selling great products with great service. Great experience all round including very prompt & responsive service. The watch is classy & understated yet distinctive. This would be true at any price, but Helicon also offers excellent value as well, & for a true limited edition. Build quality is very high indeed - very nicely finished & solid. A lovely daily watch with a difference. Plus you are supporting a small business. I really hope they continue as they truly stand out in a crowded market.

I went to the micro brand watch Fayre in Solihull yesterday and after a very pleasant few hours wandering round and chatting with the stall holders. I headed for the exit empty handed. Not that I hadn’t seen anything I like, but they were either kick starter only, a bit more than I was prepared to spend at the moment or just not available until the next batch was released. As I headed out the door I realised there was a stall that I hadnt stopped at on the way in as they were busy. Quick Look I thought and the head home. BOOM!!! Instantly drawn to the design of the Helicon Master, then I saw the Lichen on the green silicon strap!!! Love at first sight!!
I had an incredibly pleasant chat with all the team there who were quick to notice that my new watch also matched my phone cover and my wallet!!!
It was lovely to hear about the story behind the watch and the teams experience and the watch is simply stunning, one I’d the nicest most unique dials I own which looks simple, cool and retro all at the same time.
Very very happy and I will be looking out for more exciting launches from this small brand as they grow

Made the purchase at the weekend and received the Master 62 Lichen with both metal and orange strap options on Tuesday. A beautiful, functional, solidly built watch that feels worth far more than the purchase price. A proper ‘old school’ style purchase experience with as much personal service as can ever be introduced in this internet age. You know they care about their product & your experience. Really enjoying the watch. 10/10

Firstly the watches are great. The customer service is like a Michelin star experience. The slightly oversized bezel is so beautiful and is the stand out esthetical eye candy for me. I have a few of these, only because the colour design is so hard to choose from. Great value for money, so why not. PS: loving the hand written cards x looking forward to the next purchase , Gavin

What an experience! I just got my Lichen dial Helicon watch and already feel like a member of the family. I have had several exchanges with Jonathan and he made me love their story and their watches. But did I love it after I received it? Of course! As one reviewer has already written, it is more stunning in person than it is on the web. I originally came across an article that featured the watch purely by chance. Both my wife and I loved it immediately. I’m typically not an impulsive shopper and, boy, am I glad I hit “buy” within about 10 minutes. Yeah, there’s plenty of great watches out there, but when you find a watch of this quality with an equally great story and team behind it you’d do well to be a part of the whole experience. There are a plethora of new watches from up-and-coming microbrands to choose from at the moment so it takes something special to capture your imagination. Great design is one thing but a great story can make the difference. The Helicon Master 62 has both. I chose the unique lichen green dial which while looking great in the photos is something else again in person. I knew I’d like the watch but wasn’t prepared for how much I love it. The attention to detail, custom design elements like the bespoke alternating red and black numbered date wheel and the weight on the wrist add up to a quality contemporary piece with impeccable 1960’s design lineage. It hasn’t left my wrist since it arrived. Combine that with personalised service from folk who seem to really care about their product and the customers who buy them and you’ve got a memorable experience. Best of luck with the business and I hope there’s plenty more to come! CJ

Communication and delivery were fast. I got the blue hour which is stunning and lives up to the reviews I’ve read. Also appreciate the taper on the bracelet.

Helicon watches had been on my radar for some time and I had yet to take the plunge and buy one. Then they released "The Blue Hour"!
What an incredible dial, on a beautifully-sized watch, with a solid, comfortable bracelet. Back that up with FANTASTIC customer service (& not to mention terrific packaging) and you have a recipe for very happy customers.
Don't follow the crowds and buy mass-market, high-volume, dull, predictable watches. Support independent business, and creativity. I just wish I'd bought the lichen green dial earlier AND now the blue hour!
