Hello Services Reviews 

I used HelloServices for both an end-of-tenancy cleaning and a move (which operated under their Hello Vans branch). In both instances, the actual outsourced workers did a fine job, but the company’s administration, scheduling, and customer service are a disaster.
Both services ended up being rescheduled. For the move, we booked and paid 10 days in advance. On the day, nobody showed up and the office never contacted us. When we finally called them, they made us phone the driver directly. The driver told us he wasn’t coming, claimed he had already informed the office, and bizarrely offered to send "some of his friends" instead.
When we reported this back, HelloServices was completely confused and had no backup plan. I called a second time to clarify whether we were supposed to wait for these "friends" or if we were officially rescheduled for the next day. Instead of apologizing for the mess, the customer service representative was unnecessarily aggressive and gave me attitude over the phone.
The move eventually happened the next day. Because of the failure, we were promised a 10% refund. It has now been three weeks and, despite chasing them multiple times, we still haven't received it.
HelloServices seems to just be a booking platform that outsources to random contractors, but they take zero responsibility when things inevitably go wrong. I strongly advise avoiding them.

The Gloucestershire Team were really good, they were thorough and very professional. I would highly recommend them!

Misleading sale of services: Their "end of tenancy" cleaning only includes areas that the cleaners can reach without a step ladder. Apparently this is in the fine print, but it makes the entire service pointless! Good luck finding a landlord / letting agent that accepts an end of tenancy cleaning where top of the kitchen cupboards or anything above head hight is not cleaned at all.

We just moved into a barn conversion that needed some deep cleaning and the service was great. Everything has come out great and been a thorough job.

Cannot comment on the quality of the service because the deep cleaning did not happen. On the morning of the scheduled cleaning (09:00), it transpired that the cleaning crew (who were lovely on the phone) had been double booked and were not even in the same city. The main office stated that it was an admin error.

I was offered 15:00 to start the deep clean but that was going to be disruptive to my young family. I was offered a Saturday, again not convenient. After a few calls back and forth, I cancelled the cleaning and had to find an alternative supplier.

The quote was good and the main office tried to resolve the matter professionally but it was a huge let down.

After a positive start where i was delighted that this company could accommodate an emergency clean the day after i contacted them - i’m left totally disappointed.

Had our room carpet cleaned on Tuesday & am surprised that today (Friday) some areas of the carpet remain damp! We’ve left the room (where possible) as directed with windows open but some parts are still damp - mainly the area which was the problem for us where a milk spillage had occurred.

I’m left very disappointed with the clean - the affected area is still not cleaned as i would have expected & i’m now left with a carpet which feels worse after ‘professional cleaning’.

I have tried to call on a few occasions but no one is ever available. Very disappointed & I will not be recommending your services

Upon arrival Yankam Tessi were very friendly reassuring and attentive. They both did a walk through discussing with me what was required how they will tackle each area and was there any specific areas that required special attention. Very professional couple highly recommended

I used Hello Services for the second time for a deep cleaning at my flat in my living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms, and hallway, which included a deep steam of my sectional 5-seater couch and TALL window cleaning. He did an exceptional job. I was so impressed with the attention to detail he gave my apartment as part of the cleaning. He cleaned the tiniest corners / trimmings! He was kind and very professional the whole time. I will absolutely be booking him / the team again when I need another deep clean. I also really appreciate how Hello Services let's you mix & match your cleaning needs as part of the quote creation, letting me account for certain unique situations (e.g. I didn't want my bedrooms cleaned just the bathrooms). The flexibility with the quote was the first reason I booked with them, and now after 2 deep cleans being so impressive I will be booking another clean in the future!

The worst company ever, just mess you around. They cancelled on me the week before, due to staffing issues last minute and re arranged it for the afternoon. Then cancelled the afternoon appointment and re arranged it for the day after. I had taken the day off work for that appt and could not make the new appt. They then got back in touch with me on the original day to say they were coming in the afternoon (which i had then made other plan). I re arranged it for the following week. Had messages to confirm. Following week arrived and no show. Phoned the office and they were very rude. Said they couldn't get in touch the the clean team (after an hour) and then blocked my number. Phoned off a different number and answered the phone! They said they were a local company (North West) but were based in London.

Absolutely awful service, awful customer service and not reliable at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Only good news is I didn't pay them beforehand.

We booked this company for a £630 deep clean of our newly purchased 3-bedroom house, which included 3 bathrooms, the kitchen, lounge, dining room and garage. The house was particularly dirty to begin with, which is exactly why we specifically booked a deep clean and expected a thorough, professional service.

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the result. There was still a significant amount of dirt, dust and grime left throughout the property, and multiple areas had either been completely missed or had clearly not been cleaned to a deep-clean standard. We took extensive photos and videos of the issues and sent these to the company.

Two cleaners only attended for approximately four hours, which was clearly nowhere near enough time to properly deep clean a property of this size and condition. The job appeared to have been significantly under-allocated in terms of time, resulting in a rushed clean where many areas were inevitably missed. Our concern is therefore more with the company’s scheduling and the amount of time allocated to the job than with the individual cleaners as they did their best with the time they were given.

The company did apologise and offered to send the cleaners back to rectify the issues, but by this point we had already spent a considerable amount of our own time cleaning the property ourselves and so this was no longer needed.

We therefore asked for a partial refund that we felt reasonably reflected the amount of work that had been missed. The company ultimately offered just 10% (£63) and refused to increase this, despite the extensive evidence we provided and the amount of additional cleaning we had to do ourselves.

We appreciate that some cleaning was carried out, but for £630 we expected a genuinely thorough deep clean, not a service where we then had to spend hours going over the property ourselves.

Overall, the experience was very disappointing and we would not use this company again.
