I absolutely love my power assisted kit. I ride my bicycle often, so it makes longer rides much more enjoyable.

Very easy to install, robust system that gives most of its power going uphill where I need it. I am getting 15 miles autonomy while pedaling with the 5Ah battery. It also does not increase the weight of the bike too much. My 15 miles commute used to be 1h10mn before I installed the kit, it is now 50mn.

Holy cow! This thing moves! I had no intention of using my bike for exercise. My goal with the Summit kit was to not have to drive to work without losing too much time. Going 20 mph (or faster downhill) and I only added a few minutes to my commute in both directions, but WAY more fun! I felt obliged to pedal, but I certainly didn't need to. Push the throttle and off I went!

The Hilltopper Sprinter Kit is a great budget friendly electric bike conversion kit it you wanna add a little extra umph to your ride. A did a non-traditional install by adding this to my kickbike. Makes my commute to work much easier. I normally park in an economy lot and either bike or take shuttle to work. For the distance I plan to use this kit for, the kit provides everything I need. Ni, you’re not gonna be carried up the hill but that’s not the point with this kit. It’s to help you get up those hills. For those looking to upgrade kickbikes or other scooter style bikes, this is probably the best option out there since it provides a throttle and no pedal attachment is required. I used to be a bike mechanic, so my warning to anyone looking to purchase is to please, please, please read the FAQs and while installing to definitely following instructions. One thing I had to compromise on was how I talked the water bottle holder assembly. Since the kickbike frame curves, I could only attach one screw to hold down the assembly. The second option was to attach to handlebars, but I was not a fan of adding extra weight to the top end.

Hub was too large to accommodate disc brake and the screen of the display was pretty scuffed up. So now I don't have a front brake but other than that it performs well.

I purchased their electric gravel bike and after a few rides realized I needed to size down. The team at Hilltopper was super helpful and swapped out the bike so I could have a better fitting frame. The bike is a great ride, well built and designed. No complaints here and would definitely recommend.

I purchased 2 Hilltopper Sprinter kits 3 years ago; they still perform like new, after that amount of time and approximately 300 miles of riding.
I just purchased 2 more Sprinter kits; we are now retired snowbirds, and I’m tired of lugging our bikes back and forth. So now we have electric bikes at both houses, and continue to bike year round.

The diameter of my handlebars is larger than the throttle mount. Had to modify it a longer screw and then wedge it so it doesn’t slip gorilla glue. I hope it works so far it’s worked great. Hilltopper was very simple to install and so far seems to work really nice Back-and-forth to work when the weather is good 2 1/2 miles each way it’s really nice full suspension specialized bike ground control

My old 24V battery needed replacing. The new 36V battery I had to buy is not as good/powerful on my tricycle as the old battery AND it does not last any longer than the 24V one did when new. I am very disappointed for all the added expense of the 36V battery.
The ordering and shipping of the new battery went OK, although I forgot to use the upgrade code so I didn't get the $75 off!

It was easy to assemble. Shipping within a weeks time. Great!!!

TL;DR: This company has been around forever and they stand by their product. Electric bikes come and go and there's always some new Kickstarter happening. But if you want to get something from a company that you know will be around in 10 years go with Hilltopper!

I bought an electric conversion kit from Hilltopper in 2018. The company has been very on it as far as support. They have always been responsive to all of my inquiries. They even reached out proactively to replace certain parts that were deemed to not be water resistant enough. They replaced them free of charge without my needing to do anything. After about 5 years, my first battery started to give out which is expected given how much I was using it. I upgraded to their new battery and could not be happier. The new voltage has given me a boost in range and power. I love the new throttle design as well. Thank you for a great product and great support.
