I am deeply disappointed with the administrative handling of my initial enquiry by Hodge Jones & Allen. I submitted an unassailable civil claim backed by clear, black-and-white landslide victories from two separate national watchdogs (the PPO and the ICO), where liability was already pre-proven by the state entirely for free.

Despite clearing frontend compliance and conflict checks weeks ago, the firm left my file sitting in an administrative stack for three and a half weeks. They ran their operational clock right down to the final afternoon of a formal 3-working-day partner review window, only to drop a generic, automated rejection email citing "lack of caseworker capacity."

If a top-tier department is at absolute capacity, their intake team should communicate that transparently at the outset rather than wasting a vulnerable client's time for nearly a month. While the email explicitly stated this decision was not reflective of the merits of my case, the lack of professional communication and respect for a claimant's timeline is completely unacceptable. Unprofessional and deeply frustrating.

I would also like to just genuinely take a moment to say thank you and express my gratitude to you both, Raj and Shevonne, for all of your hard work, honesty and ability to work with so much integrity.  I definitely feel I have made the right choice by choosing your services. The way in which you both carry yourselves in this profession really does set you apart from other solicitors that I have dealt with and it is safe to say that anyone I know who is working in law - has often told me that I am in 'very good hands' . For everything that I have been through you guys have made it much easier to deal with this so any money I have put into this - has been well spent and as said earlier has allowed me to feel comfortable with decisions I will make going forward.

A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. We are a family of six children, three of whom are minors. The landlord and a friend of his have caused suffering, coercion, threats against the children, two fires in our garden, windows smashed into the garden, power cuts, and intimidation to force us out.

We discovered that the change of registration coincides with the date of the attacks. We presented dozens of pieces of evidence to this firm that works with Brent. Landlord even invaded our space a second time and took photos of our clothes, some of them belonging to my youngest daughter. This firm knows this but has done nothing. Even our homelessness officer wanted to send us to the Harlesden area. DANGEROUS AND THE STREET SMELLS LIKE MARIJUANA, TRASH IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE, RENT 3,050 WHICH WE CAN'T PAY AND THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPENS TO THESE GENTLEMEN IS THAT IF WE DON'T ACCEPT BRENT'S OFFER, THEY WILL STOP HELPING US, AS IF THIS WAS OF ANY HELP TO US. WE'VE BEEN IN A HOUSE CLASSIFIED AS DANGEROUS BY INSPECTION, VARIOUS CATEGORY 1, FOR A YEAR.

I HAVE PRESENTED EVIDENCE TO PUT LANDLORD AND HIS FRIEND IN JAIL FOR MANY YEARS WITH A CLASSIFICATION OF VARIOUS CRIMES, INCLUDING THREATENING MINORS. OUR CASE IS FOR A BBC DOCUMENTARY. THIS IS A DISGRACE THAT HAPPENS IN HIS MAJESTY'S KINGDOM.

BEFORE PRESENTING TO HOUSING, YOU SHOULD GIVE A COURSE ON CHILDREN'S RIGHTS.

Despite medical evidence from my doctor indicating that I was in priority need, Islington Council decided that I was not and refused to assist me. As a result, I was left with no option but to sleep on the streets.

I cannot recommend Emily highly enough. From the very first time she supported my daughter at the police station, through subsequent court proceedings and preparations for trial, Emily was exceptional throughout.

She went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter’s wellbeing was always taken into consideration, while providing outstanding legal representation.
