Excellent fast delivery and quality product

Huge let down in service

I ordered a cover stitch machine for my work. nothing turn up in time, but it took nearly a week and three separate customer service inquiries to get an explanation from the company about what had happened. Eventually I got short email for waiting the machine.despite not having the item in stock! And then took another fourteen days to process my order.

The company should adjust their system to let people know whether items are in stock or not so they don't create false expectations that goods will arrive on time and better customer service.

With Hobbey Sew at Ryde there are so many points that make it worth a top rating for me. The welcome to the shop is always warm and the offer of assistance appropriately enthusiastic, never intrusive. The range of fabrics is wonderful and not only for a hobbyist or quilter but dress maker as well. The range of machines and over lockers is extensive covering most major brands and from basic beginner machines to glorious long arm quilters to embroidery machines to quilting friendly machines and, importantly, the sales staff really have an in depth knowledge of these machines. There is a range of interesting classes on offer as well as customer led interest groups that meet regularly. The staff are top notch led by Anna, some of whom I deal with regularly, Nora and Jade, as well as others who names escape me at the moment. I couldn’t ask for more in a fabrics based shop!

ordered something on click and collect almost a month ago, and i’m still waiting for the product to be available in store. if product is able to be bought for click and collect for a particular store, this item should be almost immediately be able to be picked up, as that is the convenience of click and collect.

Had to do a phone check as my bonus accessories arrived first before my machine, with no paperwork.

Great deal, bonus accessories are fantastic extras.

It was really good that they supplied a replacment part for Horn Sewing Cabinet

Transport company took a long time to deliver the cutting table. At one stage, I was advised that the table would be delivered that day. However, the driver didn’t have time to finish his run so he took the table back to the depot and then it stayed there until I telephoned enquiring its whereabouts. Additionally many parts of cutting table were incorrectly labelled.

Order to delivery was great. Receiving updates on when it was to be delivered also great. The chair I ordered was exactly what I wanted so I'm very happy about that. I certainly will be shopping from here again.

Communication with staff was satisfying. Although, I could have been notified of the cause of the delay of my order being filled, prior to me having to telephone and seek information, would have been great. My order did eventually arrive and I am very happy with it so far. Thank you

I recently bought a sewing machine. It was way cheaper than in other retailers. Shipping was fast, I received it in 48hrs.
Customer communication could be improved to inform customers when parcels are shipped + tracking number but I called customer service and a lovely lady informed me my parcel was on its way. I will buy from this shop again.
