My order came exactly as I ordered and very promptly

Purchased Janome 6700P sewing machine.Cost close to $4000. Was faulty right from the start. Only used for a couple of hours and the machine started jamming. Sent back 4 times for repair. The bobbin top plate does not fit flush with the machine, The thread cutter never worked. The bobbin winder only wound the bobbin half way. In total used for approx 15 hours. Hobbysew and Janome refuse to replace. Have now had to purchase another sewing machine, not from hobbysew. Never experienced such bad after sales service. Would not recommend this store to anyone and be weary of Janome after sales service,

In response to your reply I paid 170.00 for freight. I was without the machine for months. I do not run a business I make quilts for friends. I always use fabric under the needle. Please don't make excused for your terrible service. The machine is in my back shed. I will not even open the box as I know the machine will only function for a short time. I have since purchased a sewing machine locally. And this machine works perfectly. Your company is beyond disgusting.

I’ve been an online customer of Hobbysew for some years now and have always been very happy. Customer service is always helpful, polite and friendly and will do whatever they can to help. The products are good with prices and specials great value. Thanks to you all, well done

At this point in time I have only given 2 stars.
Since I placed a $4000.00 order this request for a review is the ONLY communication I have received from Hobbysew.
No order confirmation to say they have received my order, no communication to say it is being processed or better still sent. Just a request for a review.
I suggest
1/ holding this request until you have proved yourselves as a reliable company to your customers.
2/ improve your general communication with customers. I don’t care how many emails I receive to tell me how you are coming along with processing my order. But I hate not being advised that you even have my order, let alone processed it.

Years ago I used to shop at Hobbysew in person. Now I live in a different state and can only shop online. I rang hobbysew to ask about the sewing machine I wanted to purchase. I asked about warranty, payment options and was it going to be a new machine sent to me as I didn't want a demo model. Most importantly I asked why their price was lower than other stores. All questions were answered. The customer care team member was very pleasant to talk to and she answered all my questions. I'm so happy with my purchase. It didn't take long for my new machine to arrive at my doorstep.

I did a click and collect order, I received a friendly phone call advising me that my order was ready and then the collection went smoothly....no problems

I was so excited to order my new machine online. The item I wanted was even on sale and it was representing best value that I could find. As soon as I placed the order, that same day my sewing machine was packed and ready to be shipped. It was at my post office within a few days. It couldn’t have been easier.

Fast and quick delivery

After long consideration I finally found the sewing machine I wanted at Hobbysew and at a great price.
I was a little hesitant as I live in another state.
But the online ordering was easy.
I also got friendly, helpful and professional service when I called with a query.
My Janome S6 AE arrived yesterday and I cannot wait to get sewing.....today :-)

I didn’t receive my complete order, and got no reply when I reported the issue

Great deals, fast shipping even to rural postcode

Waited over a week items hadn’t even been shipped. Called online sales could barely hear them on the phone but was told one of the items are waiting from the supplier.
Poor form and no communication. Won’t be ordering online from you again.

So fast with the delivery. Received even before the tracking became operational. Happy with the prices and the service.

Tracking number didn't work on delivery. Half of the bonus gift was not included in delivery although the remainder of the bonus was delivered about a week later

The item was what I ordered and it arrived in excellent condition and in a very timely manner.

Easy website to find purchases and having Australia Post deliver is the best

Apart for a little delay in despatching the machine, I am well pleased with the experience. The machine arrived 2 days earlier than expected. No damage to the box at all. I have worked my way through the instructions and have sewn out a few sample stitches and I am pleasantly pleased with the quality. For reference I purchased a Singer Elite CE677 as my current Pfaff is “on its way out” and I mainly use a straight stitch machine and overlocker. Need to do buttonholes which I hate on the Pfaff machine. The Singer made a great buttonhole so I am happy. Thank you Hobby Sew.
