After searching for prices and prompt delivery, Home Fuels came out top. Their website is easy to navigate and, so far, all has been brilliant and efficient.

Very straightforward ordering process.

You think a company is great because the price is right and the delivery time is good, but the true measure of a company is when there is a problem. I have now had a problem and they have become a nightmare company to deal with, they delivered the heating oil to the next door neighbour's, they admitted responsibilty but after many phone calls and e-mails they have still have not resolved the problem, it has now got to the stage I will have to move to the small claims court to resolve this, so if you think a company is great. You recommend that all your neighbours and friends use them, hold off until they have a problem and see how they resolve it. In this case, it's been terrible; they say it will be resolved, then they just ignore their promises. Luckily, I had enough money to pay and reorder another 1000 litres, or I would still have no heating today. You need a reliable company, especially in the winter when you need them the most, but not HomeFuels Direct.

In the end, Jill Miles from customer relations was like a "dog with a bone" and sorted it all out, and all was resolved. If only more companies had a "Jill Miles".

What do you do when, you order, pay for it, they say it's been delivered and it hasn't and a week later you still can't speak or get in touch with a single person. I'd call this theft! It's outrageous. You email, FB, message, nothing. I'll never use an oil company I can't simply pick up the phone too. WHERE IS MY OIL!

Watched the price in our area go up from 58p to 130p in our area over the last 2 weeks- understand there are issues in the Gulf, but why so quick to raise prices and not quick to reduce them, feels like you and other companies are taking advantage. You need a better strategy to smooth peaks and troughs in oil prices and better reserve management and delivery restrictions- at one point in the last week it was almost easier and as expensive to get diesel from my local garage than get your heating oil!!

I've searched several companies for a few days and HomeFuels prices are still the lowest. It is a stressful time for us customers,but I'm pleased to see their competitive prices and reasonable time of delivery.

Very quick and easy site to order oil.
Company always keep us updated with delivery details.
Shame oil is so expensive now.

We have used Home Fuels Direct on many occasions. They offer great prices and I have never had a delivery cancelled

Ordered oil on February 23rd was ment to be delivered yesterday, zero communication from HFD, I have email HFD and certas no response from either, also tried to call certas on hold for 1 hour then cut off. Think twice about ordering via HFD

I placed my order on the 1st with the allocated delivery date on the 9th. No sight or sound of it. No update on their web dashboard since the 2nd. No contact number available on their website. No option to cancel. No reply to emails.

This should be a warning to anyone like me, who chose or are thinking of choosing this organisation over a local supplier which is marginally more expensive. Interestingly, said local supplier has held their pricing through these ‘unprecedented times’ and are offering to deliver as soon as we like. Too bad my money is tied up with HomeFuels Direct.

DO NOT USE

I ordered heating oil on 27 February, just before the start of the attack on Iran. It is being delivered today, on 11 March, at the original price although oil prices have risen drastically in that period. Our neighbours ordered oil on the same day but from a different supplier and had their order cancelled a few days later and were told they could order again but at double the price. Well done to HomeFuels Direct for showing integrity and looking after loyal customers. Thank you.
