A lot of putting together the price should be lower for the amount of work you have to put into the couch itself between sanding and assembly of every piece on top of fabric that fits so snug you feel like your going to rip it getting it on. I would consider something else in the future for sure. Basically thick plywood for the 1800 I spent not worth the brand new price tag at all I could get something pre assembled for that price and will in the future.

The sofa is perfect for my space and they were fairly easy to put together. We were missing part of the sofa and customer service got it to us right away

Easy to follow directions in assembling sectionals

The sofa was easy to put together because the instructions were so detailed. I loved my fabric choice— it’s so comfortable, and the sofa (sectional) is exactly what I wanted it to be. I have used it every day for the last two weeks and love it. I also appreciate the customer service team getting back to me prior to my purchase, when I had questions about the dimensions (I was worried about the boxes fitting down my stairs, and the answers they gave me were both accurate and comforting). Everyone I have spoken to from Home Reserve has been overwhelmingly helpful and kind!

The customer service team was GREAT! I started by trialing a deep seated unit and found it didn't suit me well. My service rep arranged for a truly hassle-free return, offered a trial of the standard depth unit, and had that unit out to me super quick. And it was perfect. Assembly was amazingly easy. I'm a "little old lady" with arthritis, living on my own, and I was able to handle assembly in one sitting all by myself. I love knowing that my new furnishings are made in the USA and built to last...easy to maintain, easy to repair (should I ever need to do that), easy to refresh with new covers if the mood strikes.

I'll make this short and sweet. I have the highest regard for this company and the excellent products I just bought from them. The quality is very obvious, but that wouldn't matter if it wasn't comfortable. There is where my one problem exists. When I relax on the sofa with my legs extended over the ottoman, I inevitably fall asleep. P.S. My dog loves it too.

Your product was as promised. I love the color I picked. It is firm but comfortable. Definitely pet and child friendly.

Very accommodating and responds quickly!

It look a long time to assemble my sectional sofa, probably about 8 hours. I got numerous splinters, both during assembly and later when putting items in storage. I wish both sides of each wooden piece was sanded. I like the style of the sectional and the texture and color of the fabric. The seat cushions are not comfortable for me to sit on for any length of time. I'm hoping the cushions will feel better as I break them in over time. I like the storage compartments under the cushions.

I never received the second order of samples.

Very comfortable and great storage! We love our sectional! A few of the boxes were missing parts, but customer service had them sent out right away so that we could finish assembling our sectional. I love the fabric-so durable and easy to wipe clean. Our dog gives it five stars, too!

We love the couch! It cleans so easily and having the option to wash everything is perfect for our family with kids and a dog.

Love everything except that once we ordered the rest of our pieces after our sample the fabric is slightly different. It's understandable but unfortunate that we now have two pieces together that don't match exactly.

The company and the people have been stellar. Customer service and ease of communication were exceptional. Sadly, the armless trial piece didn’t work for my needs, but that is okay. HR did all possible to ensure I had what I needed to make an informed decision.

My very honest review:

I had my eye on this sectional for 2 years. I was so sure it was going to be the perfect couch to meet the needs of my family of 5. I'm so grateful for their trial period.

Pros:
1. storage space (though I wish it were lined and had a hinge for the lid).
2. Washable covers
3. Color and fabric options (though I wish real linen were an option).
4. Modular
5. Seat cushion was on the firm side, which is what I was looking for. It was also the perfect height for me
I'm 5'8".
6. No springs. That's what I was looking for, and the main selling point of this couch for me.
7. A long warranty

Cons:
1. Off-gassing smell was hard for me and have me a headache. We had to air out the house for 24 hours. I almost put it outside. I think it was the wood. It must be treated with something.
2. The back cushion was going flat after just a few uses. We ordered the 1 sectional piece for the trial period. I sat on it 6 times. My husband wasn't impressed because of the back cushion fling flat so soon and the fact that you can't make it stay in place. He wants a plush cushion that stays in place.
3. This leads me to my final issue: the back cushions do not stay in place. They just sit there and are not connected in any way. That was a major problem for me. If I had the ordered the sectional, the back cushions would have flattened out quickly, and would be flopping around instead of anchored to the back and always there when you needed them. Not to mention my kids would take full advantage of this and steal them for fort- making. That would be all of the cushions, because they are just sitting on the frame.
3. The storage compartment is bare and raw and in need of a liner. Who wants to put blankets and pillows in there? They will snag. The lid of the storage compartment is what the seat cushion sits on top of. You just lift it out to fill the space. I wish there were a hinge on it.

After less than a month, and only sitting on it 6 times, I knew this couch wasn't for me. The clincher was the quickly-flattening back cushion. I was very disappointed. I had the highest hopes for this couch. I was ready to spend $4,500 on a couch (which always seemed crazy to me). Now I have to start my search over or convince my husband to build me one, which he would have to learn).

If Home Reserve would fill the back seat cushions with memory foam or a thinker foam for better support and find a way to temporarily anchor the cushions to the seat and still be washable, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Heck. I would buy it even if the back cushions weren't removable. Even Havertys has their leather cushions stuck to the back of their sofa frame with a huge piece of sturdy velcro. My father has a set that I have inspected. There is no storage and the leather is a blend, but now I'm thinking I may just have to buy them. I can't decide. Everything is so expensive now. I want something that truly lasts.
