Whilst already receiving a war pension, a situation happened which required additional changes to be made. As this was something I wouldn't have been able to manage alone, I instructed Hugh James to act on my behalf.

I've had a very positive experience with Hugh James throughout my hearing loss claim.

The process was lengthy, although this was not due to Hugh James. The time was necessary to gather the evidence required to support the claim. Throughout, I was kept fully informed of progress, and any delays were clearly explained.

As part of the evidence-gathering process, I underwent several hearing assessments and consultations with a range of hearing specialists. Hugh James also invited me to participate in a hearing aid trial, allowing me to compare premium hearing aids with my NHS-issued devices. This was incredibly educational and will benefit me greatly when making decisions about future hearing aid purchases.

As my case was selected as a test case for the trial, a significant amount of time was invested in preparing witness statements and evidence. The Partner leading my case, Ruth Davies, was exceptionally supportive and flexible, working around my busy work and family commitments.
