I loved this experience that was given to me by hunt a killer. The experience I enjoyed was the Blair witch season 1. It was an awesome experience, the only thing I didn’t enjoy was box 2 of the 6 box set. Other than that, it was a great time to have fun with friends and family

The idea is neat, but it is way overpriced for a game you can really only play one time. Customer service is terrible. I canceled my subscription yet for 2 months afterwards they still charged me, I tried to contact them and no one has contacted me back yet.

This was so much fun. My best friend and I had done the ones that they sell in stores are the quick ones, and we loved them, so I decided to do season 1 and 2 of Blair Witch. We sat down at 10:00 am and we had so much fun on season 1 that we didn't stop until about 8:00 pm that night. I had such a great time, and I can't wait to see what season 2 has in store for us.

It honestly started great... But then a package got lost. I have had all packages delivered to one address. 1st, 2nd and 4th all arrived with literally no issues. The 3rd box though, never arrived. When I reached out, they "tried to send it again" however I never got a tracking number and it never arrived. Reached out over and over again, and all they say is "we tried. Sorry" Like how am I supposed to move onto box 4? The rest of this is useless to me. Don't buy, cause if you have 1 small issue, you wont get to finish it.

I have been trying to contact customer service by email and Facebook for about three weeks now. I ordered two seasons and they sent me two copies of the same season. I have heard nothing back from them and have followed up at least once a week to check the status of my issue. These games are great, but this experience has soured my opinion.

5 stars all day long. I play these with my daughter. Its great or have something in common. We have so much fun solving the puzzles and checking for clues. Have completed Blair Witch and Curtain Call. Currently on the Blair Witch 2. We just love the games. Great for any murder mystery buff.

Ordered this months ago. Cancelled my subscription as funds were running low. Subscription randomly charged my card but had not shipped. I immediately tried to contact the company to cancel and refund the purchase. I was completely ignored. They shipped it. It came to my house a few days ago. STILL no response from the company. Never purchasing from them again. I cancelled because I had low funds but fully intended to restart once I could. Now I've lost all interest. Horrible scam company

I don’t usually write reviews but I was surprised to read a decent amount of negative ones. I always read reviews before buying anything and despite some of the negative ones I bought the Mallory Rock series in hopes that the positive reviews would be true. I bought the series for my mom and I to have an excuse to get together and bond and we both love our murder mysteries. So far we have played 3/6 games and I have really enjoyed them! They’ve all taken a couple hours-ish, they are challenging but not impossible, and I’ve been impressed by the amount of detail in the story and evidence that they’ve included. $165 maybe seems like a steep price but that’s $28 a box which I find totally reasonable. It’s been such an engaging and unique way to spend time with my mom. I didn’t renew my subscription only because it’s not something I’ll ALWAYS want to spend money on. But I totally recommend it if you like games, puzzles, stories, murder mysteries and if you’re not the type that gets impatient or bored when going through the fine details of evidence or having to put some thought into it when you get stuck. I also recommend only doing this in pairs. I think if there’s too many people then the case could be solved almost too fast and there’s just too many hands in the game. Hope this review was helpful!

(Mallory Rock) Too many cyphers, more like an escape room than solving a mystery. The literature and props are fantastic and make it fun. We are doing this as a family and are having fun discussing the mystery and possible suspects. After four episodes, I would say the first one was the best.

Very fun for the family. Just the right level of challenging, so you don’t get too frustrated. Sometimes the “items” sent to solve the mysteries are not the best quality, but overall a great experience.

we had mallory rock...it was way to easy. you got some glossy stuff but the meat of the game was simple and boring....like it took under 20 minutes to figure out the one clue and then you are done? There should be multiple goals for each packet and it needs to be way more complex....please dont cater to the mouth breathers!

I could have watched an earth worm watch paint dry for 2 hours and I would have gotten a more exciting and fulfilled experience than playing Murder at the Motel by Hunt a Killer. Clues were kept out, guidance was non existent without spoiling the ending. Your money would be better used as toilet paper replacement.

I've had hunt a killer monthly subscription for over a year, and I cancelled last month because I have 10 boxes that I have yet to touch- they charged me today anyways.I 100% cancelled, there were no mistakes on my part in that process. I typed "confirm" in the box and I recall it said that sometimes it takes some time to reflect on my account. I intended to return- i never will now.

These boxes are very involved, detailed, and brain puzzling. Allows for some creative thought and makes a tremendous amount of fun with combined efforts from friends and family. I have purchased 3 seasons of boxes from hunt a killer and all of them have been incredibly fun! It has become a frequent weekend activity for our friends in my home and we look forward to seeing new boxes and solving more mysteries!

I can't believe I have not come across Hunt A Killer sooner, but I'm glad I finally did! Every single one of their boxes, whether it be a premium where you get everything in one box or a season with multiple episodes/boxes to solve, are incredibly well thought out, detailed and very entertaining. And there are even real items you can actually touch! All the boxes I have done have been amazing (and I've done a lot), you will not find a bad story.

I did the Blair Witch episodes and I have to say it sucked. You are supposed to be solving a missing persons case… by the end they are still missing and you get an email saying that you solved the case. Do not buy this. There are cheaper alternatives that actually involve looking for clues in the story rather than solving a code.

It was a lot of fun but it really needed to be both more cohesive and more difficult. Definitely worth it for the experience it gives, it just needs to flow a bit better and be a little less obvious.

An incredible community building experience! We anticipated the arrival of every episode and our family cleared their schedule to participate. The best part is everybody was engaged and contributed! The interface was very intuitive and lightening fast responsive. The story drew us in. Each box took us about 2-3 hours working together to unravel. And, as we solved our first case our family ask, what’s our next case?
