Hythe and Waterside Reviews

I recently moved into a new home that I found through Hythe and Waterside Lettings. Elizabeth was fantastic! She helped steer me through the process of setting up my tenancy and was there to answer my questions after I’d moved in. I’d recommend Hythe and Waterside to anyone, and want to give a special thank you to Elizabeth. Thank you Elizabeth!

Straightforward transaction.
All queries dealt with in a timely manner

Hythe and Waterside were helpful and responsive with the property viewing and organised the paperwork efficiently.

They have been really good and helpful, keeping us up to date with everything and letting us know the next steps. Any questions we've had they have answered straight away. Positive experience with 1st time renting, a good agent to go with.

Couldn’t recommend Zoe enough, we were desperate to move house due to having bad neighbours and Zoe went above and beyond to help us and had actually found us our new home that we move into on Monday! Can’t thank her enough!

As first time buyers we found Richard really helpful and friendly. He helped make our experience as stress-free as possible. He was in regular contact by phone/email and was more than happy to arrange the additional viewings we requested.

Richard and Wayne gave an excellent service in selling our home.

I would like to pay a compliment to Zoe, friendly and extremely polite.
Very patient and very helpful in answering our questions and doubts. Always willing to help us and with a lot of charisma.
She's just incredible.

thank you!

Absolutely amazing service from Zoe, virtually viewed a property during the covid pandemic. Completed all paperwork and transactions without any trouble... Communication was brilliant, never a delay and responded to any question asked without hesitation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🤩

Dear Lynne,
We have been Landlords trusting the renting out of our family house in the hands of Hythe & Waterside lettings (H&W) since 2014. This has enabled us to embrace retirement, without worrying about the day to day legalities and responsibilities of renting out our home.
After a lot of soul searching, we recently decided that it was time to sell our home as the end of our current tenancy agreement was approaching. We telephoned the H&W office and spoke to Zoe Arnold, who we believe joined the business in October 2019.
Zoe fully explained the correct process and together we planned the timeline. She then issued the relevant documents in good time, to give notice to the tenants to vacate the property at the end of the fixed term.
Once notice had been issued, we worked with Wayne and Richard in H&W sales to get the property marketed for sale.
Within a few days we received and accepted an offer for our house and started the legal ball rolling.
To help enable the sale of our property and the smooth vacation of our tenants, Zoe showed our tenants properties for rent.
Then the Coronavirus struck and turned the world upside down, with emergency legislation being issued to extend the required notice period and stopping house repossession actions, the courts were suspended, essentially the housing market stopped etc....
Zoe has been (and remains) exceptionally supportive throughout this turbulent period. Her knowledge and guidance of the rental sector has been, and continues to be, invaluable to us and her prompt attention has made this situation much easier to work through.
Throughout these incredibly difficult and sensitive times, it is so reassuring to know that Zoe has our best interests at heart.
So often in this day and age, criticism and complaint are common place, with good service rarely being commented upon.
We would like make you aware of our most sincere appreciation of Zoe, in gratitude and recognition of her high level of customer service, knowledge and aptitude, as we endeavour to continue our quest to regain possession on our property and complete our sale.
With best wishes and kind regards,
S & T

Hythe and Waterside have been Fantastic all the way through my dealings with them. They are Professional yet Friendly and very Efficient. The whole process was very smooth and any query I have had has been answered quickly and with the minimum of fuss.

They have also gone above and beyond at a difficult time (Covid-19 and Isolation) to make sure my move still went ahead.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to Family and Friends and would definitely use them again in the future.

Brilliant, Elizabeth did amazing considering the world wide pandemic that’s on going. Didn’t actually get to visit the accommodation before moving in but the video and being kept in the loop made everything a lot less stressful and there were no surprises so thank you very much.

I had a genuinely awesome experience finding my property with Hythe & Waterside! It was like dealing with real human beings despite these digital times!!
I will deffo recommend anyone else looking for a property to go straight to you!
Thank you!!!
:)

Great and friendly service from all staff members! They are very easy to talk to and will not hesitate to help when it’s needed. If you get a chance to buy or rent through this company, I would highly recommend it.

Hythe and waterside were really helpful with our move especially Elizabeth who answered all my queries big or small every step of the way! Can’t recommend her enough, we love our flat and agency.

Excellent service from Wayne and Richard.

Really pleased with the efficient service from Elizabeth and Zoe at Hythe and Waterside Lettings. I was kept updated and informed throughout the whole process.

A smooth and hassle free service checking old tenants out and installing the new ones. From the moment we received notice that our existing tenants were leaving at the end of their tenancy, the Hythe and Waterside machine clicked into action where found, checked and completed the paperwork for our new tenants in a very professional manner.
Excellent service throughout.
