ID me is easy to set up and use.

It was easy to set up, and to access where I wanted to go

I needed to upload some files to the IRS and ID.me was recommended. The process was straightforward and reasonable. If the IRS trust them, then I certainly do.

It was easy to use. For someone who struggles with technology, I was able to get through everything rather quickly. Recommend you just use it and get used to it. This is where its at now when ever you need to communicate with any gov. agencies.

The process was very smooth, and the instructions were very clear. The two-step verification was very secure. No errors were encountered throughout the process. Highly recommended!

A lil wait for the perfect reason I guys helped me

Would rate zero if it was an option. It took over 4 hours to resolve an issue to be able to access my account. Was sent to three different assistants / agents. They do not care about wasting an obscene amount of your time and I do not even know what is gained from this service. Please stop making us have to use it.

When attempting to Upload personal identifiable information, (ie state issued ID) was unable to use their acceptable/authorized form of Id since it doesn't have an expiration date, and there apparently is no work around. Then Utilizing facial recognition versus a two step authentication. Seems to prefer utilization of a KEY which is stored on a USB drive, but many companies and most of the US govt forbids the use of USB drives or other USB driven external devices.
Seems like a great way to have a massive data breech, While the general public has zero recourse. And now while submitting a review, it want's me to sign into my facebook and or apple account to upload said reivew.

I followed directions but was unable to complete the requested task.

Quick easy and trustworthy

Terrible website. Refused to verify me and did not give a reason. No way for me to correct what was in error.

It is my belief that Id.me is a scam. You will be forced to use facial recognition to merely log in to a website when 99.9% of all websites use a 2 step text verification, this one needs a driver's license and a photo.

Please share the entire process before having us go through the each part, so checking for understanding becomes more viable.
This is anything, but totally safe, especially with this administration.

Uploading my ID failed 4 times and wasted 1/2 an hour.
Shitty software doesn't inspire confidence my information is at all secure.
I've written my senator and congressman detailing my experience and telling them to stop wasting the public's money.
This is the definition of waste.

Once you get in, it’s not that difficult to figure out. It gives clear instructions on what you need to do differently.

Can never sign up even when using my hospital email. Always get unable to verify. This has been an ongoing problem that even our hospital sent out an email suggesting we find another service for discounts as they are not affiliated with them and tired of the negative feedback. The uploading of documents and personal information is scary enough, only to be told to contact support, but yet they already got all my information.

what the idea, that they expect me , an 81 years old lady to do this work ?????? I don't trust it that I will get my refund back from the IRA, till I get it. Meanwhile ?
